We tried some dishes but my favourite was Thai Chicken Salad. The veggies were fresh, the chicken was delicious, the portion was quite generous, the dressing was kicking. The service was slow because it was understaffed. The restaurant was not busy at all despite its premium location facing Noosa river.

DONT COME HERE! If u are looking for a nice meal, I promise this is not the place. I found a full on bug in my curry and was told it would be cancelled from the till. The lady at the till then laughed in my face and said she was not going to refund it. I called the waiter that saw the bug and he said he didn’t see anything. Really really rude people, food was below average and tables had hair on them. Yuck

Oh my god! One of the worst eating experiences I have ever had. This place needs to be closed down. The kitchen was a digrace. The woman dressed in white was beyond rude. You can not re heat food and expect people to pay premium prices. The only good thing about the place was the bottle of beer. I wish I had read the reviews before hand. Very consistent on bad service and bad food.

If I could give a 0 I would. I came here this afternoon at around 6:30 and ordered some takeaway, at the time there was only 3 customers eating, therefore I thought it wouldn’t take longer than 20 minutes. I was wrong, we had been waiting for an hour and a half for 2 curries and some rice. Not only did we wait almost 2 hours for mediocre food but there was no remorse or apology of any kind for being so late. They hadn’t even started preparing our food until the one hour mark. Extremely disappointed and do not recommend.

Yummy yum so good. Beautiful pumpkin curry, Hubby loved his hot jungle curry. Best chicken satay sticks with heaps of the peanut sauce. Great service as well. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back.

Staff especially the manager is a rude woman and had no manners. We were a group of 10 and walked in, restaurant was empty even on a Friday night, safe to say they had enough space for us. Manager spoke to one of her staff then refused seating inside. We were okay with that. Then one of the staff members were moving tables and we tried to help and the manager started scolding us for being impatient. This place really needs better staff. We can’t say about the food as we walked away from there.

Horrible experience. Don’t be fooled by the nice exterior, the kitchen serves poor quality food alongside the disrespectful wait staff. Food was served to me with a bug in it and they refused to discount the meal. I wish there was a 0 star button.

I am shocked by the poor reviews. In the 4 years we've been going there, the only complaint I would have is the random service and sometimes there was too much cabbage in the curries. But even more shocked to find that Krung Thep has now closed. Hope they are ok .

Chanced upon this restaurant as we were exploring the early evening walking down the riverfront at Noosa.
Excellent food and lovely service.
We had a fab meal and what's more it wasn't too busy - unlike the hustle and bustle of restaurants of Hasting's Street.
shhhhh! Please don't tell too many people about the riverfront restaurants - they're a hidden gem of Noosa. :)

Terrible service.. waited in line for 10mins and waited at the table for another 15 before service was asked for.. the 'alleged' manager was rude... Service staff had to awareness of their customers.. the restaurant was only 60*% full when we entered. had to prompt the staff to get us a table.. we went up to get our own menus.. got a few 'someone will be there in a min a couple of times' 'first day here'....let's see if the food is worth the wait..

Booked well ahead of time, so got an excellent table. Our arrival was timely too which resulted in quick service. Ordered quickly and our food and drink arrived without major delay which was excellent given the busy nature of the restaraunt that night. The food was superb and at very reasonable cost. Wine menu was perfectly adequate without being overly extensive. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience.

I haven't heard good things about this place and I reluctantly ordered the chicken fried rice from here today and It's safe to say i won't be going back after I called to complain about the fact I had one small piece of chicken in my meal and the lady who answered was awfully rude. She basically told me there was more chicken than that and no apology was given. When I asked for a refund she said definitely not. When I said I wouldn't be coming back she just ignored me until I hung up.

Very disappointing. We've come here so often and loved the food - not this time unfortunately. Entree was 30 minutes late because they lost the order. Fish in ginger was heavily marinated in salty soy:(
