Bombora Cafe And Takeaway - Norah Head - Photo album

I was advised when ordering that the wait time was 30 minutes. 1 hour & 40 minutes later I was eating a delicious pie from the bakery next door, post getting a refund from Bombora Cafe. I even had to wait on my refund, as two staff members didn’t know how to do an eftpos refund. After questioning if
Avoid especially on a long weekends. Breakfast took 95 mins. No notice of delays when ordering and food was poor quality especially after waiting so long. Waitresses were trying to be helpful but could have been upfront about delays. Need more staff in kitchen and need to upgrade quality of food.
Food was terrible. Ordered nachos and meat was barely there and undercooked. Very dissappointing and hopefully someone does not get sick from food that hasnt been prepared or cooked properly. What resembled scrambled eggs on toast looked like half the egg was burnt and toast was stale.
Waited over 1/2 an hour for my food, which ended up being horrible! 2 pieces of chicken in the ‘chicken Caesar wrap and bacon fat instead of bacon, should be called lettuce wrap. Bombora burger was just a squashed soggy mess and had just bacon fat, no bacon and three trays of wet soggy chips. Staff
The kitchen closed at 1pm. We got there at 12.35 so no food for us. Just milky, bland coffee with no flavour. Served by staff member who huffed and sighed through assisting me with a serviette (kitchen hand towel) and watching me like a hawk while I was stirring my coffee with a cafe spoon as the
Awful food, used to be a quality place, would be better if they shut the place down. Considering the lack of food they have on offer (half of the menu was "out of stock") and the chef refused to cook garlic bread upon ordering. Nachos were advertised with a salsa and guacamole, it came out with a to
Paid extra for bacon and salmon but there was only a very small amount and salmon looked old. Sour dough was cold, poor amount of avocado. Mango 'smoothie' was practically a mango milkshake which was disappointing. Such a nice location, but food was terrible.
Coffee was god awful. Toast wasn't toasted, paid $12 for a smidgen of Avo and feta on cardboard tasting sourdough. What a massive disappointment with the new owners. Such a prime position also yet the locals still need to drive to actually get good coffee and food. What a shame
