Very good, well-priced family restaurant. My only quibble is that there is no way the seating arrangement is COVID-compliant. Technically maybe, but not in the spirit of social distancing.
Great service fantastic views, sitting outside Ona hot night watching the sun go down. Couldn't be better. Would love to visit again, the view there is just wonderful.
• Good views during sunset
• Menu has a good selection (good proportions too?
• Good drinks selection (good cocktails)
• Nice seating
• Nice staff
The restaurant is really lovely in terms of decor/ambience/etc, with a great view of the ocean. My starter was to die for (I ordered the fiore Di latte and foccacia with olives) but then my main (pumpkin spaghetti) was a bit bland if I'm honest. I tried some of my partners pizza which was delicious. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing...
Great place for coffee and brekky in the morning with the best view of the ocean in Perth. We've been here a few times already and they certainly deserve a mention.
One of the best views along the coast and kind and happy services to go with it ! Sometimes a little slow and confused with orders but always fixed with a smile . Portions are decent for the price and the food is tasty with an Italian twist . Coffee is hot which is a big tick .
I can see that the reviews have been unkind to this place (the ones that dont leave a comment that is)but I dont think it is as bad as everyone seems to rate. Firstly they have one of the best views in Perth. Their drinks list is a little limited, an extra 4 or 5 local beers and some more swan valley/ Margs wines would be good. The osso bucco was excellent, the service was ok. The pizza isnt good at all, they need to start making their own bases.
A great place for group functions!
I organised a brunch for 12 people with the help of Bridget, the owner of Toms. She was extremely helpful and created a personalised menu suited to my guests.
The food was delicious and was delivered quickly. All staff were polite but as it was busy I would of expected a few more staff to be working.
Overall, a lovely place with great views of the coast!
Went for a family birthday lunch on a Sunday afternoon, staff were great with our large group and were attentive to drink and food orders as well as answering any questions we had about the menu. My fiancé and I ordered two pizzas to share which were incredible, great flavours and amount of toppings and the base was perfect. The rest of the table loved all there food as well and we sampled a couple of their dishes making notes of what to order next time! Also ordered a hazelnut affogato for dessert, the coffee was delicious as was the hazelnut gelato and biscotti. Beautiful view and overall atmosphere!! Looking forward to coming back again!
Have only been here for lunch a couple of times but both times the food has been divine - fresh, beautifully presented and amazing flavours. Today at lunch we had bruschetta, calamari with pumpkin, sage and lemon aioli and the house-made ricotta with cranberry and pistachio which was out of this world yum (although maybe it needs some wafer thin fig crackers or something to accompany it?). The views of the ocean are gorgeous and the service is spot-on. Going to try dinner there next week.
Was pleasantly surprised with this little find. After a week of at home meals we decided to treat ourselves to a new place and this one popped up.
The decor was beautiful, with booths and communal tables in the main restaurant but all open so you can enjoy the beautiful view.
We ordered drinks, the peach Bellini was not what I was expecting but a nice mix of champagne and the sweet peach schnapps.
For food we decided to try a few different things, and chose the meatball, arancini, bruschetta and the Margherita pizza. All were delicious. The pizza was fresh with not the over power of cheese and sauce, but with beautiful fresh tomatoes. The bruschetta was rocket on a crunchy bread base, and peach with red onion which was a beautiful twist.
The arancini I wasn't a big fan of, as the size was a bit big for the amount of rice, but my boyfriend loved it and does not agree.
Overall this was a great experience and glad we found this place.
I booked a table for 21 people at Tom's & was so impressed with how the staff managed such a large booking, both before & during our meal! I had originally booked the table to be outside, but a few days prior I called the restaurant concerned about how hot it would be on the balcony & was offered an alternative inside (and was even sent photos to make sure I was completely happy with the suggested space - truly going above & beyond which was awesome and I am very grateful for!). Our waitress was attentive & the majority of the food came out all at once which was great. The food and cocktails were good, a tiny bit pricey but a nice atmosphere/venue and great staff has definitely made me want to go back again! ☺️
For those of you looking for a wedding venue along the ocean, check out Tom's Italian upstairs in North Beach at North Beach Plaza. We were absolutely delighted with the service, location and food served at this beautiful venue. Every time we popped in for a meal or to discuss our cocktail style wedding, we were met by warm, friendly staff members who bent over backwards to ensure that our special day would be perfect. The tapas menu was extensive and no one went home hungry! We also had plenty of seating for our cocktail style event but a sit down wedding would work well here too. The ocean views and sunset were absolutely stunning. People are still talking about it. Check out Tom's. You won't be sorry. 😀
Stunning coastal views, especially for a sunset.
Service was friendly and attentive and the prices very reasonable. Food was tasty and decent wine list.
Family or friends or a casual date night, don't be fooled by the shopping centre location.
Will absolutely be returning!
Simply Beautiful . Reserved a table in the morning and arrive later that evening with table ready for us. Centre table provided as requested. Awesome Ham & pineapple pizza. Great sunsets views. Definitely a summer venue that’s for sure. Do enjoy it as it’s a hell of a view of the West coast
Went out for dinner with some friends.
They drove us via Fremantle, up the coast, then pulled up...
...out front of North Beach Farmer Jack's?
Nope - upstairs is this gem of a place.
Stunning views, tasteful decor, delicious food.
We had the seafood linguine (my wife loved it - ate every bite, and she's a "shares a mains" kind of girl), pork belly, scotch fillet, herb crusted chicken, some fried potatoes and aoli on the side, with lemon lime and bitters and spicy ginger beer.
On the sweeter side, we had the Panna Cotta, a honeycomb milkshake and 2 gingerbread milkshakes (i had both of those, and didn't regret a sip of it - order the milkshake, go for a run tomorrow).
All of it was cooked (or mixed) to perfection, the staff were super friendly and i would recommend this place to anyone...
I have never been so impressed with customer service as I was on Friday night at my friends wedding! 10/10. The staff were so attentive and friendly. The couldn't do enough for everyone. Food and Drinks were flowing all night and all done with a smile and a laugh. What a terrific venue. We will be back for sure!
Oh what a view. Food was yummy too. We sat on the outside terrace watching the ocean however there are many comfy booths inside too
We dropped in on a Friday evening on a spur of the moment decision. Very happy we did.
My partner and I shared the pork belly and crispy duck meals, and both were very good with the pork belly being the standout meal. Very tender and full of flavour.
I also really liked the well balanced and very pleasing chocolate cake and gelato dessert. My wife commented it was her most pleasant dining experience in Perth so far. We're relatively new to the region, but we've shared enough dining experiences so far that I found this surprising. I suspect the gorgeous views and great views had something to play in this.
We'll definitely be dining here again, and I promise we'll make a reservation next time 😉
Nice casual Place, friendly and uncomplicated.
The food is fresh and modern, and very tasty.
We will be back when it is warmer, to sit outside and enjoy the sunset.
It was worth the drive from the Hills👍
