Review Zeal Vietnamese Restaurant - North Beach

After driving past on a Saturday night and seeing this place fully booked out I decided I had to try it. Upon arrival service was slightly awkward and unorganised but after settling in and ciphering through the large menu we ordered. Went with the plum sauce duck which was up there with the most tastiest duck I’ve had to date and by far the largest portion of the specialty meat. To pair we had the satay beef which was also great. A nice little spot to go for a casual meal or catchup with friends in a good location!

We had the salt and pepper duck so delicious. I will definitely get this again. We also got the combination rice which was nice and fresh not greasy which complemented the duck well. We got the vegetables with coconut curry sauce, the vegetables were lovely and the sauce was ok. Next time we will try another flavoured sauce. Really enjoyed overall fresh, tasty and some great flavour

We loved the duck dish it was pretty sensational however the $18 for fried rice was pretty ordinary for the price and the starter of calamari was ordinary at best. Where this place let itself down was the service, the young Asian male wearing the mask couldn’t even greet us, when we ordered he stayed completely silent and overall was not friendly or engaging in the slightest. Also toilet area also wasn’t what I call clean at the 6pm before it’s gets busy. Next time I’ll probably just get the duck dish as a takeaway.

Great food and service! Half hour drive from the downtown of Perth and u can see one of the prettiest sunset on the way if it’s sunset time! We ordered 2 pho, rice paper roll and stir fried diced steak! All of the dishes are so yummy so we ordered one additional pho and the grilled prawn! Highly recommended this restaurant!!

Fantastic atmosphere as usual and the food never disappoints. One of the best places for groups and larger families to gather.

Recommend this restaurant lovely people, delicious garlic Prawns & Noodles with Beancurd. Very nice selection of wines as well.

The salt and pepper duck dish was a real treat! Crispy, spicy and served on greens with lots of little tasty bits. Highly recommend!

The food is great and the service is very fast and attentive. A good local, went with some girlfriends and would go back with the family. An extensive Menu and would like to try some more dishes.

Gr8 food, service price and location. The Menu can be a bit tricky because they give multiple options in a single entry. But once you figure that out we haven't found a dish we haven't enjoyed. Service is efficient and friendly. Been 3 or 4 times and had take away all good.

Such a hidden gem! Although a little noisy and crammed inside, ask for a table in the enclosed alfresco area for more space. The food here is very authentic, cooked promptly and with fresh ingredients. The rice paper rolls, Chef Special Fried Ginger Fish and stir fried noodle dishes are great. The Chef Special boneless roast duck with shitake mushroom is also super tender and yummy. It is licenced, has a bar with a selection of drinks. I recommend giving this a try! You will love it.

Good food. Just don’t order the egg yolk fried prawn special unless you like authentic Vietnamese food. Personally the raw egg yolk dressing over the fried prawns was inedible to the Australian palate. Too salty and made us feel sick <br/>

Great food here and very reasonable prices. Tried sweet and sour prawns, green chicken curry, coconut beef and chicken in oyster sauce. Big serving sizes and every dish was colourful and fresh. Good wine and beer list as well. The restaurant also does take away. Definitely will be back again.
