๐Ÿ— korean fried chicken burger ๐Ÿฅ— chicken salad ๐Ÿ : @twobobcafe ๐Ÿ“: Fitzroy North ๐Ÿ“: If youโ€™re looking for an easy and chill brunch to enjoy around Fitzroy North. Sitting on the corner of Queens Parade and Delbridge, two:bob brings an element of Scandinavian modernism to the area. โค๏ธ: We got the ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ” Korean Fried Chicken Burger which was HUGE. So crispy and juicy every mouthful. And to be a little healthy, we got the Salad with ๐Ÿ sweet potato, curried chickpea, ๐Ÿ” chicken breast, pickled cabbage, ๐Ÿฅ’ zucchini, and spinach.

Surrounded by beautiful autumn trees, my partner and I were really excited to try this bustling cafe. I wish I had more nice things to say. Although the menu said "ask wait staff about dietary requirements", our questions were met with attitude and we were told that there were no changes to menu items. Our waiter was constantly distracted and didn't have time for our questions. My partner removed toast and egg from their meal and when the food came, the $25+ plate was half empty - half a sausage, a small piece of fatty bacon, 3 watery mushrooms, a small serve of chutney and smelly kale. The serving size was so small that we found it difficult to justify spending over $25 for the meal. On top of this, the coffee was burnt and bitter. We won't be returning and would not recommend to anyone with dietary requirements. Our impression of this cafe is that they aren't working in the best interests of the customers needs.

Great local coffee - silky smooth soy latte and food is great. This is a popular local institution, with a reputation for the best coffee and a long term barista who cares immensely about the quality his coffee! A little more expensive than other cafes along this strip, but the quality of breakfast and coffee is outstanding. Inside or outside alfresco seating in a lovely old bank building. Great kids options too so a family breakfast is a special treat ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜‹

Got a cup of flatwhite and chicken sandwich for takeaway. Both of them were excellent taste! The color of paper cup is beautiful as well!

Called in for breakfast on Sunday 22 May around 0930. Sweated and coffees ordered immediately on coffees arriving food orders taken. Food came out in a reasonable time frame and was delicious. Second coffee ordered and no rush to kick us out even though they were busy. Lots of healthy options and I almost ordered the oats instead of eggs, almost haha. Will be back for sure.

An awesome spot - Dining with children can be a task sometimes; The staff were incredibly welcoming and accomodating to our little ones. The coffee was brilliant, as well as the food. Thanks for such a memorable experience Two:Bob!

Great food, great service, lovely location. Happened to drive past this place once and took a chance, couldnโ€™t be happier with it. Huge recommend

Always a risk ordering a sweet breakfast, but the hotcakes were worth it! Perfect hotcake to caramel sauce and banana ratio, so each mouthful is delicious without missing out on any of the good bits. Also, the Halloumi was perfectly cooked, and the coffee was great!!

I didnโ€™t like this place. Itโ€™s an ordinary space that itโ€™s bit ratty and dated. It needs a renovation. That alone isnโ€™t fatal though. More problematic is the service here which is very poor. Terse, unfriendly and uncommunicative. The antithesis of good customer service. My coffee was ok but nothing special. Service is critical to the hospitality sector. Itโ€™s rare for me to give a fail but I have no option but to confer one here.

Another great coffee maker, the short macchiato I get here is well made .friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere. I am very fussy when it comes to a short macchiato. Down to earth coffee and tea house is one of the top of the list coffee makers in melbo

Poor form. If u want coffee so hot that it scorches your soul this is place for you. Soy milk was soy disgusting (scuse the pun). It was so bad I couldn't drink it. There is a TINY sign on the coffee machine stating that "we like our coffee hot and strong". Should have been scalding and shizen. Service was so painfully slow. Won't be back.

Great coffee. I go to Down to Earth often . It has the best coffee in " the strip". I can't believe people complain about the service. It may not be super fast but it is friendly and you know the delicious food is cooked specially for you. It is relaxed and without loud music which is a real plus. The staff are charming and welcoming. Everything is fresh and pastries etc come hot from the oven.

I love going to Down To Earth, it has such a good vibe and the food is always lovely. Its nice to have a place to go to in clifton hill that isn't your typical "trendy" cafe. The nut brownie is to die for, and the coffee is stronger than most places and is consistent. All the staff are lovely and always give great service with a smile. Try the soups! Delicious and generous size.

A smile works wonders!. Have now eaten lunch at Down to Earth on a number of occasions, as I work nearby. The food is consistently good, such as the Avocado and Goats Cheese Fritters with Salsa that I had this week....yum, but the service is consistently poor! Clifton Hill is spoilt for choice when it comes to cafes (my absolute, all time favourite is Cavallini - for food and service!), but amazingly, the young lady behind the counter at Down to Earth either doesn't understand, or doesn't care, about the basics of good customer service. On a good day you might just happen to squeeze a smile out of her, but generally you're lucky to get any eye contact and she's usually more intent on chatting away to the chef in the kitchen or clanging about with the cutlery, than providing good honest service.
Great food, but I think I'll stick with Cavallini down the road - they've got it all going on down there!

Too slow. Coffee was ok but breakfast took a half an hour to arrive. Puzzling as the place was nearly empty.
High Expectation
Best coffee on Queens Parade!
Never disappointed when I eat here on a fairly regularly basis.

Good Coffee. Have done this 4 times. Good coffee. Food is above average but not that exciting. Chef distracted with decorating plates, which is really annoying. If i want pesto scattered around my scrambled eggs, I'll order it that way, thanks. Otherwise reasonable, honest cafe food. Coffee a winner. Better than most on Queens Parade (other than Cavallini). Small shop a benefit as it as a relaxing atmosphere.

The decorating was rustic and lovely. The Organic Jams caught my attention.
