Review Lord Newry Hotel - North Fitzroy

Great space, open and friendly staff, lovely older upholstery. Dependent on company or other crowds to bolster the atmosphere. Parma was ordinary, large chicken, good ham, poor Napoli, tiny crumb that seemed baked or fried and rather dark. Chips are in a fish and chip style, side salad was leaf only in a vinaigrette offering next to nothing, still a finishable meal just nothing spectacular. Uncertain on price given current inflationary conditions and short of a deal

Seeing the outside tables constantly full, today I though I would give it a go for lunch. But... Being a cold day we ate inside. Decor..tired 70's or 80's Lunch...to be fair, both of us had a Parma But, this was below standard for pub fare. Overall, disappointed

Had the chicken Parma, it was rubbery and did taste great. The venue is tired and is overdue for a refit. If you come here only come for a few drinks and then move on

Why go to any other pub? Great service, good banter, and a bloody EXCELLENT parma (oh, and get the onion gravy, girl!). Did I mention the pool table and TWO FIREPLACES?!?!? 🥵🥵🥵🥵

Best pub in town! Especially the bar staff, ask for Jodie and you’ll have a good time ;) Shandys are a good woman!

This place's appeal is more it's vibe, very relaxed, welcoming and community feel, with friendly staff, great for a weeknight casual catchup. COVID safety: place seemed clean, some staff wearing masks correctly, some not. Self serve cutlery. Order details: Chicken Parma and Pint of Carlton

Lovely bar staff and food is great, especially good Jameson whiskey 😉

Great beer and friendly atmosphere! Peanut Butter Porter??? Excellent!!!
