The gravy or sauce had no MSG
The meat had no fat and melted in my mouth
The potato, I could’ve eaten this for days - it was beautiful and again no MSG that I could taste

choose from. Coffee is very good and Maha and her team are very welcoming. Can't really understand the negative reviews, I think it's always a bit suss when there are a lot of negative
reviews with only 1 review. This place in my opinion is good.
I've tried every place on the street and in my opinion this is the best lunch around. Coffee is good, service is great though they do get busy at times. Their roast beef is so tender you can eat it with a spoon and they have a great vegetarian range for those who are not into meat. Negative reviews are probably written by the competition whose businesses are suffering.
Nothing over the top just a simple cafe that does a good wholesome breakfast. Tried it for the second time last week and it was as good as the first. Won't be my last visit.
Absolutely amazing food. The Lebanese omelette topped with hummus is phenomenal, the sides of cabbage salad and a cold rice red sauce accompaniment are refreshing and leaving you wanting more. The customer service is exceptional and it's always pleasant to see a welcoming smiling face. Highly recommended.
I tried this place a couple of days ago and must say i enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the lady even allowed us to sample some food before we ordered. The omlete was excellent as were the salads
Like so many others I spent a year walking past this little gem. No exposed brickwork, no free trade banana friendly sugar in old jars, no recycled anything. No surprise then you won't see a hipster clogging up the queue while he checks his facebook to see if he's in the right place....or even on the right planet. Go in. Put your faith in Ma and let her decide what you need for lunch. The food is amazing, home style, unpretentious and reliable. I'm pretty sure if you ask to have your avocado smashed you'll be asked to leave. I go here at least once a week for the lentil and barley salad which I'm thinking of stealing then marketing as it's one of the most balanced dishes you'll ever try. Those pasty nuggets in checked shirts and elastic sided boots wouldn't know a good feed if it smacked em in the melon.
The gem of Clifton Hill. Beautiful family owned cafe, with the best barista on Queens Parade. The food is delectable, so fresh (made everyday by the gorgeous owner) and tasty. Everything in this cafe is made from scratch and it shows. Warm and friendly surroundings, service with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner - this place has something for everyone and you will not be disappointed.
The best value and fresh home cooking in Clifton Hill. Delicious salads and amazing variety.
