Thre food was amazing here! The portions were huge ! We basically ally rolled out of the place with our bellies stuffed ! The staff was nice and friendly, peanuts were everywhere on the floor, which was surprising ! Seems like a slipping hazard haha

Lonestar NL has deteriorated so much in the last year, we will not return. 1. We made a booking, but when we arrived the lady said she couldn't find our booking until we pointed our name and number on her book. 2. Place was 3/4 full and all the staff looked like they didn't want to be there. 3. After ordering, it took 15 minutes for our beers to arrive, and an hour for our food. 4. WORST ribs we've ever had - they were VERY TOUGH and DID NOT fall off the bones. Salad was tasteless. What a rip off for $42. 5. One of us asked for gravy and it took 15 minutes to arrive. 6. When I mentioned the slow service while paying our $200+ bill, the lady just said “Yeah there was a table of 20 people tonight”. No apology whatsoever.

A year ago I gave a glowing review, but after dinner tonight it goes down to 1 star. It was a special night out and went horribly bad. 1. Took way too long for someone to collect our orders. 2. Ordered loaded onion rings and the came out plain. Mentioned it to the waitress so they could adjust the bill - we were OK to have them as they were 3. Ordered a Porthouse steak medium rare - came out very pink. Sent it back - came back better 4. Ordered a Rump steak 400g, very well done - came out very pink/red and bleeding. Sent it back, a new steak came out and it was now a 200g steak. Cut it in the middle and it was very pink still, we mentioned it to the waitress but I couldn't be bothered waiting for them to get it right, so I asked for a takeaway container 5. During all this, we ordered a cocktail, after 10 mins and ordering other drinks we asked where the first one was. We were told they had run out of glasses, we said we didn't mind what glass it was in. So they brought out the cocktail, wrong cocktail. Waited another 5 mins while they made the right one. At that point we were done, we paid our $240 bill and left disgusted. Totally amazed nothing was said or prices reduced for all their stuff ups. They are known for their steaks and they couldn't even get them right. Our waitress was amazing and we felt bad for her but the kitchen couldn't get their orders right. 1star rating and that is being generous.

Onion rings were over cooked and extremely oily, chicken wings were so incredibly dry, I’m sure they were left over from lunch service. Waitress did an amazing job, but the manager as we were paying was a totally different story. Not even a hint of apology, only attitude that essentially made us feel bad for letting them know that the food was well below standard. We have been a customer here periodically for years, bringing many larger gatherings, and had planned on my sons 18th here in a few weeks. I’m sorry to say we won’t return.

Had dinner there and service was great and so was the dinner... Went for dinner again and will let the pic give the reviews..had chicken schnitzel with salad and chips

Very disappointed with our recent experience. Person who took hubby's take-away order didn't repeat it back to him, and the order we got had several things wrong. When we called to get it rectified staff were abrasive. When I went back to pick up the corrected items I was interrogated about it and told that a baked sweet potato was not an option for a side with the ribs (despite their menu clearly stating it is) but that they had given us one anyway, and extra chips 🙄. To top it all off the beef ribs were dry as. When you spend $103 on a meal for 4 you expect some sort of quality. A very different experience to what we've experienced in the past and a highly anticipated birthday treat was a big let-down.

The awesome staff really stand out here. Food is always spot on. Can't go wrong with steak and the ribs... or both! Good prices, fresh food and good portions. The new loyalty system seems decent too.

Was a awful dinner. Meals were not what was ordered. No cutlery or napkins on the table had to ask multiple times. Steaks were not cooked to what was ordered. Menu items came with missing ingredients. Had to wait at least 40 minutes for main meals and not all meals brought out last meal arrived after everyone else has finished eating as if we had of waited all meals would have been stone cold. Had to ask three time for our drinks order then remind them each time what it was. Service was horrible and when we asked about missing items where argued with. Will never go back there. Bill was well over $400 so not just one or two meals stuffed up.
