Great food at a reasonable price. Packed poorly for take away resulting in major spillage of fish Goan into the bag and all over the naan. Probably would have licked the bag clean to be fair, very good stuff!
Really enjoyed out pre-movie dinner here the other evening. Ordered the butter chicken (very good), jeera rice, garlic naan (the best), and cauliflower & potato curry (tasty). Decor & ambience is nice, menu is extensive & caters well for vegetarians, staff are polite and quality of the food is of a good standard. Great option if you’re craving some decent Indian food.
I tried Bollywood spices Indian cruising in this we have a chicken garlic Naan in oven use paneer masala Paneer Butter Masala Dal Makhani dal tadka and coffee
Had takeaway for dinner from Bollywood Spices and everything was fantastic. Ordered the kaju curry masala and aloo gobi dishes along with sides - delicious. Will definitely be going back
Fantastic. Went there recently for a social catch up with friends. The food was excellent, pricing reasonable and staff were so good to deal with. Highly recommended.
Very tasty delicious food and lovely staff. Very small and cosy restaurant. Our food was on table very quick. Will definitely go to this place again.

Came with the family from Melbourne over New Years. Very happy that we came across this place on Zomato. The food was beautiful and the staff were very friendly!
Best Indian by so far in Perth...!!! Quality meats - flavours - service & price. Don't bother with anywhere else if you want quality... nice to see crap like Go Go's get shown up after all the fuss that used to get made of that place all because it had some international sports stars visit. Bollywood all the way ..!!!
Amazing, authentic, tasty food - the best Indian in Perth. This is our favourite local by far and we've introduced so many family and friends who go back all the time. Every dish is delicious - the beef vindaloo, goan fish curry, eggplant + potato, just to name a few. Staff are very friendly, and our order always arrives quickly. Love Bollywood Spices!

Where do I start? This place has created a whole new generation of curry, something so moist and tender should not be kept a secret. I have had it with dry curry that tastes bland just like Virat Kohli's bat, it really makes the turban on my head shiver with excitement whenever I bring up a spoonful of that lovely creamy goodness that is Bollywood Spices' curry. You are sure to see me there again with my wife.

Without a doubt, one of the nicest indian restaurants in Perth. The curries are fantastic. Beautifully cooked, bold with flavour, yet you can taste the individual spices. The chicken tikka masala was a standout as well as the crisp, yet fluffy naans.
Good food, served well. Is it the best Indian restaurant in Perth? Probably not! The entrees were delicious...seekh kabab - spicy and moist, chicken kabab tender and full of flavour. The curries were good, though not cooked with the same love as the entrees. Goat was tough and stringy, probably not the best quality meat used.
Breads were fresh and very tasty - our favourite was the stuffed Kulcha.
What a great little restaurant. Casual atmosphere, friendly service and amazing food. A huge menu for such a small place and everything I ate was perfect. We shared the Bollywood share platter and then a vegetable korma with garlic naan and I could not fault anything. As an added bonus, the host accidentally overcharged us for the meal but we did not question it. 5 minutes later he had run out of the restaurant and brought us the correct change with an apology. How sweet!
Tiny place but packs a punch all the same. Great food. We had a kofta and a South Indian fish curry and both were great. You can see the staff working furiously in the kitchen and the bread chef earns his money! The naan was very good. I don't fancy your chances of getting a table on a Saturday, but I'll be coming back for takeaway very soon.
Yep, I can see what all the fuss is about. Good food. Good service. Good price. Tuesday night, date night but it wasn't a fancy venue. Lucky we're not fancy either. But it was clean and comfortable (Although avoid the drafty table just inside the door).
The place didn't look be but looks can be deceiving. The take away and home deliveries were going out the door rapidly. Despite this we were served quickly and by a friendly staff member. We ordered the mixed entree for two - comes on a sizzling plate!!! - the beef and potato curry, the malai kofta, rice, naan and chutney. Not one thing was wrong with our dinner. The flavours were good (if a little mild in the mains), the food was obviously fresh and the chutney was delicious. We sent our compliments to the cook - I hope they were received.

Nice food, small restaurant but I think they get a lot of takeaway orders. The service was quick and the food was nice. Serving size was good with reasonable pricing
My family and I only very recently discovered this place. We love everything about it - the food is sensational, pricing is sensible (uncommon in Perth!), the vibe is super relaxed and the service is sincere and helpful! Last night one of the lovely staff ran out to our car with cash because he realised we'd accidentally been overcharged! What lovely people. We'll definitely be back!
Authentic homely north Indian fare. Smallness of the mixed platter is compensated for by the generosity of the curries. Naan is great. Rice is superb. Goat curry is delicious.
Even Bassa tikka seemed flavourful ( I hate Bassa). We loved it.
Best Indian in the area - been eating here for 2 years, welcome to Uber Eats one day?
All dishes are amazing and service is top notch
Nothing more to say!
Small unassuming place but the food was great and service nice and friendly. Probably one of the best meals I've had here in Perth. BYO is always good and corkage charges were fair, takeaway available also.
We really enjoyed our visit. For starters we had the pakora and the samosas. They were both really delicious (no pics as we were starving and gobbled them up almost before they landed on the table) and well seasoned. For mains we ordered the butter chicken (medium hot) and the dopiaz lamb (hot) a serve of rice and a prata. Servings were very generous full of big chunks of meat. Service was great, accommodating (we asked to be moved from a table for 2 to table for 4 and they were lovely abt it) and very prompt. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. There was a constant stream of ppl for takeaway orders which shows they must be a local favorite. Even though zomato says they serve alcohol they don't. Is byo ($4 corkage per bottle but we had beer and they didn't apply corkage charge). All together came to $57 which i consider good value given the quantity of food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Favourite Indian in Perth! These guys are always packed out so I usually get takeaway. Delicious food and very reasonably priced- less than $50 for 2 people with a couple of entrees, mains, rice and bread. Highly recommend. Order early as they do get very busy.
The food is always amazing at Bollywood, we've both done takeaway and dine in. When dining in, the staff are friendly and attentive, and you can byo as well.
Great value small Indian restaurant. We had the butter chicken, lamb saag and beef vindaloo. Lots of meat and sauce in all dishes - perfect! We enjoyed all of them plus had enough leftovers packed up for lunch the next day. Good size portions. Friendly staff and fast service. For a Wednesday there was a constant flow of customers arriving and leaving the entire time we were there. Busy place! This place is going to become one of our regulars.
Authentic indian food!
Love the biryani rice and the curry too!
Love the handmade indian bread (naan)
The service was also excellent and friendly!
Will come back again! :)
This place is sooooo good! We ordered from here for the first time tonight and our food was ready so fast, it was so delicious and great value for money! Not to mention the service is great, very friendly!
surprised its so highly rated. We thought the butter chicken and rogan josh were both fairly standard but not spectacular. There are much better places in Perth for indian i.e metro in subi.
Decent enough Indian food for Perth and staff were really friendly even though we didn't have a booking (seemed pretty busy, may need a booking on weekend). Samosas were nice.
Shame the garlic naan didn't have fresh garlic on it. Can't really complain
Absolutely delicious food! One of the best Indian restaurants in Perth. Have been eating take away from here for a long time. The amount of meat in the dishes seems to be slowly decreasing though which is disappointing.
Too costly... Naan was good, especially the masala papad was very good and the lime soda was wonderfull and the chicken tandori was so yummy
The food was delicious, the staff were attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend booking as it's a small place that can get quite busy.
A must try for lovers of Indian food!
Good food and friendly staff. We ordered yellow dahl, white rice, plain naan and seekh kebab. There was nice dinner. We came by people review and that was real review.
The secret's out, I've been keeping this place to myself (and a couple of very lucky friends) but need to up my good karma by sharing the love ... so psst Bollywood Spices will knock your little cotton socks off with some serious yumminess.
It's food with as much pizazz as it's namesake, delicious, tasty, spicy - everything you associate with good, down to earth Indian cooking. So no, you won't get anything fusion-y or try-hard, what you get is the tried n true done just right.
It's my go-to place in Perth for cheap-ish (or any for that matter) Indian and I'm never disappointed.
Love the saag paneer - pureed spinach with cottage cheese (and love how it's actually chock full of green as green spinach). Dal Bollywood is a must try in the lentils stakes - all rich, dark and creamy - as is the golden yet more humble but still very nice Dal Tarka. The goat curry is always a goa - my partner orders this every time - and the naan is hot and fresh.
I'd give it a 5 out of 5 for value and consistency, but am reluctantly deducting half a point for the furnishings (which is suitably basic, but I couldn't give a jalebi because I come here solely for the food). Service is good too.
This is my most FAVOURITE Indian restaurant in Perth and I'm so happy that I have the privilege of living across from this joint. Also worth noting that Bollywood Spices now doubles up as a Pokemon Gym. Yaaaaassss!
I usually get takeaway because it's heaps cheaper than dining in. Their veggie samosas are da bomb. I love the tamarind sauce it comes with. Other dishes tried tested and true are: garlic prawns, prawn malabari, butter chicken, palak paneer, Dahl tarka, lamb saag, goat curry and eggplant and potato curry.
I've never had a bad meal here. You won't be disappointed. Sometimes your food can take well over half an hour but it's bloody worth it.
If you dine in, I suggest you book ahead as the place probably only seats about 20.
I came here with my family (party of 8 adults and 2 kids). It is a tiny little building but was consistently packed full of diners. And there is good reason for that. The food was amazing!! We eat a lot of authentic Indian food and this was the best Indian restaurant I have been to food wise. The butter chicken was insane!! The garlic naan and peshwari naan was delicious, along with the other curries we had (beef madras, lamb rogan josh, and chicken Malabaar). But you HAVE to try the butter chicken :-)
One of the best Indian restaurant I have been here in Perth lovely spiced food and thumbs up for the staff they fullfiled every my request super recommendation
This place is the bomb! The curries are bursting with flavour, and whether it's mild or super spicy they are amazing. The naans are great, but the briyanis?? Get outta town dude!! The goat briyani is particularly mind blowing. It's a tad too spicy for myself, but it's soooo good you can't stop eating. As a fan of milder curries the butter chicken and kormas are fantastic. What else can I say? Good eats!
I quite liked this place, the reviews were very good so we thought we would check it out. The curries were really good, very tasty and full of flavour. The lamb was so tender! Service was pretty good, not extraordinary but okay. Restaurant was very small which I didn't expect but I guess that's why the food was so good :) we only had to wait five minutes or so for a table but after we got there it got very busy so next time I would definitely book to ensure a table was available. Food came fairly quickly considering how busy it was. Price was reasonable. The only thing I can really say I wasn't impressed with was the naan, which seems to be the stuff you would normally buy in the freezer section of a shop. It didn't taste horrible but it wasn't like proper naan. Overall I really liked this place and would definitely come again :)
Ate here with my family a couple of months ago. This is currently my favourite indian restaurant in Perth. The flavours in the spice combinations work really well. Only criticism I have is that the dishes were abit too salty and I like salty food... go figure.
This place was packed out and it was only Wednesday night!! I think they need a bigger restaurant ;) delicious food, some of the best Indian food in Perth. Everything was beautiful and authentic.
My only complaint was the waiter was very rude. He didn't smile at all and snatched the plate from my hands. He was not nice at all and it made it a bad experience for us. If it were not for him it would have been 10/10. So it is a shame :(. The other lady working there was really nice though.
I don't know if I would return for dine in as the waiter was rude. But will probbaly get take away as the food is delicious!!
got recommended this place by some friends of mine...we ordered some takeaway and when we showed up for pick up we never thought it'd be a small takeaway joint with no more than 4 or 5 tables...but that night the food we had blew us away and we've been back a couple more times since to try out more dishes...absolutely love butter chicken, korma and lamb curry dishes...lovely naans too...
This is a great, little local restaurant. We were there as a fairly large group (even requested to add an extra seat on the spot) and the staff were attentive, friendly and catering. They were able to make recommendations on the food and servings as we were sharing the dishes. Their menu was large and varied, and the food was tasty. A bonus dining there is easy parking!
After being in Perth for a couple of month's with family, we searched high and low for the best indian in town on zomato etc, and i came across this place. There were 5 of us, and ordered around 5 curries, rice and naan bread. Thinking that we had found the best curry in Australia back in melbourne, this place absolutely blew my mind. The butter chicken, goat curry - actually all of it was amazing.
The place became extremely busy during dinner, with many people coming to pick up their food or waiting for a table.
If I lived in perth, this would definately be my go-to curry house.
Amazingly good food! Some of the best Indian we've had in a long time. It's not the nicest decor but the food more than makes up for it. Our new local Indian at last!
A local favourite of ours based on quality, consistency and price. The owners and chef are friendly and always smiling. There are other Indian restaurants in the area but they don't compare so if you are looking for a casual dining experience with byo, you can't go past Bollywood. Take away is very popular too!
Suprisingly good little local takeaway..best saag paneer around. Ive been a few times & Garlic naan is a little blonde for my liking , some extra colour & crunch would make all the difference. Tonight its actually pretty good! it's not far from home so perfect for those nights you can't be bothered going out for real thing. I think this place is a little gem.
This is some good Indian Takeaway! And weirdly enough Indian is very easy to stuff up. In my mind that seems odd. This however was delux and was I not moving out of the area I would be ordering again! SO I put it to you that you should instead.
I wish food was a bit cheaper however the quality and taste are really good.
We had the Paneer and the fish/prawn curry and they were great!
nice ambiance and it's BYO
Amazing food. Have only ever had take away but never disappointed. Huge flavour. Well sized servings. Finally I have found a reliable takeaway close to home.
Excellent food quality with reasonable price !!
Will go again soon!!
Great Indian food from this tiny little place. We've tried all sorts of things off their menu and haven't had a dud dish yet. Only downside is the wait for takeaway is generally 30-45minutes
Awesome butter chicken and lamb Korma
Discovered this restaurant about a year ago and now we never order Indian takeaway from anywhere else. The Dahl bollywood, Chicken Jalfrezi and Butter Chicken are the family favorites, with a serve of Somosas to start us off. The naans and roti's are traditional.and delicious! Has to be the best Indian food in Perth!
Beautiful flavors, nice smoky chicken.. service can be a little slow at times, and staff are not very good at understanding english. However they definitely make up for it in flavors.
Wally n Gill. Visited Bollywood Spices last week with 2 others, food is genuine, tasty, vegetarian dishes firm not mushy, all dishes were spicey but not Chilli hot so you could still taste individual dishes, restaurant is small but convivial, prices are good for Indian food in Perth, good friendly quick service, not licensed so take your own Kingfisher beer, we will definately go back. Well done Bollywood Spices.
Bollywood Spices Indian Cuisine Restaurant was on 3rd time in Perth news 100,best restaurant in WA it was a great news,& 2012 in urban spoon best restaurant it is great achivement for bollywood team.
My favourite Indian in Perth. I normally get takeaway, Every dish I've had is top notch! Inside is cosy and service is friendly. Try it out today!!
LITTLE GEM. We love this little restaurant. The food is delicious. We have eaten here quite a few times. One of the better Indian places in Perth.
The friendliest, yummiest Indian place in the whole of Perth! The butter chicken is beautiful but I have never had a bad meal at Bollywood and I will always be back!
Unbelievably good Indian food. Everything we had (i.e., lamb madras, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan) was excellent. Service was efficient and friendly. Will be back again...and again, and again :-)
Best value Best Indian food.... Best value
Best Indian food in Perth.
Our favorite!
This is by far, the best Indian restaurant in Perth. My partner and I visit Bollywood at least once a fortnight and we have never had a bad meal. The onion bhaji is out of this world and the butter chicken is my special treat. My partner is eating his way down the menu and is never ever disappointed. The family that run this little gem are so lovely and welcoming. Take away dishes have the same high standard as when you eat in. I highly suggest this stunning little gem!!
Awesome food. We ordered for onion bhaji, fish amritsari, goat curry, paneer jalfrezi, kashmiri pulao and butter naan each and every item were so delicious, great taste, quantity and quality is really grt at the top of the world, just love this resto food and will come again and again and again......
Delicious!. I chose this place after reading some reviews and they were absolutely correct. The food was great, probably the best curry I have had in over a year and I've been living in the UK for the last year!! We got the garlic prawns which were excellent, so creamy and flavoursome, I would definitely recommend them! Everything was great, on time and worth the money, will definitely be back.
Spicylicious!!. We finally found our match in the spice stakes. Asked for 5x hot, sweat inducing food that didn't disappoint. Great service, very friendly staff. The restaurant is small and has good ambience, was quite full for a Tuesday evening so probably you should book. We had good combination of lamb, chicken and beef dishes, and a nice assortment of naan breads and rice. My Indian friends all said the food tasted authentic though the home made pistachio ice cream was not as smooth textured as they were used too. We'll definitely be going back here.
Very good food.we had goat curry , chicken tikka, mix Platter , Nans & Mango kulfi. Loved it !! Food was very tasty & a balanced recipe. One of the best Indian food I ever had overseas . I will be back soon.
Delicious curry! The beef vindaloo is my favorite.
Favourite Indian. We have been getting takeaway from here for over three years and its been consistently good. In fact, have never bothered going anywhere else for Indian takeaway ever since we found this place.
My Favourite Indian place in Perth. They're north of the river, I'm south. Probably just as well or I'd be here all the time. Good value Indian food with some nice heat and plenty of flavour. It's really that simple. Highly recommended.
Best butter chicken in Perth. This place is constantly amazing! Great prices and aaaaaaamazing food.
10/10 every single time!
Takeaway from bollywood spices. I got a takeaway from this place for the first time last night and let me say i am very impressed. The chicken jalfrezi was cooked to perfection. The lamb rice dish we got was full of succulent lamb pieces with no chewy bits and the lamb was full of flavour. Both dishes contained the perfect balance of spices and along with the cheese nann was sufficent for two people for just $34.50. Service was excellent so friendly and efficient. Am probably going back here at the weekend i was that impressed.
Poppadoms were amazing so was malai kofta and channa masala. The naan bread was disappointing though, nothing like how naan should be it was more like a pizza base.
Seriously impressive.. Lovely little location tucked away in North Perth. Environment is casual, food is sensational and service was perfect.
Best Indian in Perth.
Just rocked up and I think we were lucky to nab a table. Will book in future, seems very ppopular.
Service was good and the food was delicious. Excellent bread and excellent value.
Will be the new local.
I created an urbanspoon account just to pay compliments to the chef.
service- AWESOME.
the chef himself came out to take my order when he saw me sitting alone there because his wife was busy attending to other clients. lovely! i was picky and told him i wanted fish curry, with sauce but cooked without coconut milk, and VERY SPICY. he acceded happily and said no problem. lovely!
food-SUPER AWESOME.
i finished every last drop of curry in e bowl. flavours were intense but very very delicious. loved it!
humble establishment serving food that's truly and authentically Indian :)
In love with Lakshmi. I don't want to tell everyone about how good this place is because you'll all want to go, and it's too small for you all to fit. Outstanding food, gorgeous owners and my all time favourite Indian in Perth. Love you Lakshmi.
Best place for tasty food.. Best restaurant and when order chilli paste with fish amritshari tikka, is always awesome. but people be careful who don't eat that hot. this chilli paste is very hot, but its worth to try.
My family got take away from here tonight. The food was AMAZING - the best Indian I've had in Perth. Very affordable too.
This is THE BEST INDIAN IN PERTH!!! Hands down!!! The butter chicken is to die for !!! We have been many times and the food has ALWAYS been consistently brilliant!!! The owners are lovely too :)
Visited this Indian restaurant a few days ago, I always love Indian curries, I ordered the mango chicken and it was really good. But I ordered 4 Naan bread, be honest it tastes a little worse than I’ve had. I am sorry. But I still ordered takeaway for one more Mango Chicken and one more naan for my next lunch.
Tasty indian food at its absolute best. I realy enjoy that they do all the curries I love so much, so well. The butter chicken and the beef vindaloo are always my go to. The naan bread here is often nice and crispy and well cooked. Will always come back here when I have that indian curry craving
Omg amazing curry. Authentic, delicious and beautiful.
Amazing food that my partner and I would crave week after week! Sadly we have now moved to Melbourne but wanted to write this review to show our appreciation after two years. Always consistent, the chicken karahi was our favourite dish - the mixture of spices is incredible. Tried plenty of Indian places in Perth but as far as I'm concerned this is the best by far.
Good tasty authentic Indian food, moderately priced. Very popular, recommend booking ahead although they deliver locally and takeaway is a popular option.
Have regularly been there for two years and the food always great. It's a small clean family owned restaurant, plenty of parking in front of it, small dining area guess about 7 tables? Can get noisy, food can take time and sometimes long time if unlucky they got lots of takeaway orders. We would avoid the peak hours to dine in then we'll get fabulous food with reasonable rate and great service.
Went there last night. Good food, reasonable price. A bit long wait than usual.
