My trips to Perth are not complete without my favourite Thai from both locations! Rice paper rolls on the beach followed by curry for dinner.

First timer today. Friendly helpful staff. Bought turmeric chicken rice paper roll + coconut chilli jam dipping sauce to takeaway ($10.50) and absolutely loved it! Can't wait to try some other dishes.
The shop is tucked away on the Angove Street cafe strip next to Fiorentina. Blink and you'd miss it. Hunt it down though, as it's totally worth it.

Wrap n Rice, North Perth is situated in a central location and a great quick and easy place for lunch and the food is delicious.
Its not the usual type of place I'd choose to eat at as I've eaten at many Thai Restaurants before and have always been left disappointed. The Cafe is very small and quite basic looking and most of the seating is on the sidewalk and not very glamourous.
I wouldn't have chosen to come here had it not been for friends bringing us here....BUT I am definitely going to hurry back to this place as it beat my expectations and the dish I chose here was something to write home about.
First of all they have a Whole Big Vegan section, which usually when you go to order at a Thai restaurant you have to ask what they have available for Vegans, but here I was blown away for choice. They also have a descent selection of Vegetarian and Gluten Free options along with Traditional Thai Dishes to suit everyones requirements.
The prices are great and definitely affordable which makes it a top choice if you looking for somewhere cheap to eat for lunch. Most of the main dishes range from $14-$19 and entrees are all under $10. Service is also really quick too if you need to hurry back to work.
I visited the Wrap n Rice in North Perth, but they also have their cafe in Cottesloe too which I believe is the same menu.
The food is fresh and flavoursome and as soon as you walk past you can smell it being cooked. The portions are huge ...I ordered the Drunken Noodles (with an extra side of chilli) which was recommended to me by one of the waitstaff and I couldn't finish it all. I did order the tofu for entree too though which would have been enough on its own. The Tofu was very plain though, so I mixed it in with my noodles when they arrived.
We had two of the lemon grass beef and turmeric chicken rice paper rolls with a warm coconut desert and they were amazing. Friendly service and fresh, yummy food. We'll definitely be back again.
We were staying not far from here and needed a late night meal. The food was all fantastic - freshly made and delicious. You need to try the chicken wings - so tasty and sticky. The duck rice paper rolls were also moreish. Sandy made sure that we were looked after and welcomes. No alcohol available but there is a drive through not far away.
Don't judge this place from the outside before you try it! Great prices and great food. Squid was cooked perfectly. The rice paper rolls didnt come with sauce but that's probably the only let down.
Fresh, flavoursome and healthy Thai food in a relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are not the usual you see at other Thai restaurants in Perth. This is wholesome and 'made with love' Thai food. I can't get enough. Great friendly service too!!! Don't be put off by the small size of the place, the wait staff are more than pleased to have you sit, enjoy a BYO drink and eat their tasty menu items. The noodle soups are the best in Perth!!
Don't be deceived by the sparse decor- the food here is AWESOME. So incredibly fresh and flavoursome, and really good value for the quality. If you choose to dine in the staff are always super friendly. Best Tom Yum around by a long mile. Easily the best take out option in North Perth- can't recommend it enough!
I have been to this little place on 3 occasions now, once for a quick lunch by myslkeft,once for dinner with friends and then with the kids 10 & 13.
For lunch I had a Thai Beef Salad. It was fresh and packed with coriander and leaves. A bit of spice...it was delish! Friends we had an assortment and all enjoyed their meals. The standout was the duck fish. With the kids we. Have green curry and fish cakes and noodles...kids loved it. Great service. Great place to go when you need a tasty and quick bite before bowling or a movie or something.
Happy every time I go to this place, very friendly, thoughtful and lovely people. Food always consistent and tasty. I love their curries, roasted duck curry in particular. Their egg noodle with chicken and duck also very nice and different. Oh! I never leave that place without taking their yummy dessert.

Today Sandy had prepared a combo appetiser consisted four different tidbits. I enjoyed each of them very much especially dipped in sweet chilli sauce. I had cod with light tangy sauce with brown rice for my main. The sauce was so light with a tinge of lemon I could just have the dish by itself. The fish was cooked to perfection as the meat was soft and still moist. Thank you Sandy for your recommendation again.

I have been eating all sort of dishes there as i know they all tasty. However my favorite dishes are roasted duck noodle soup, chicken noodle soup and spicy pork with herbs. If you have never been there I would highyly recommend!
So nice to see Paul and Sandy open their second place with same great food and service as Wrap N Rice Cottesloe. Well done and all the best!
Limited menu but the staff here is so friendly 👍👍. Plus what makes it stand out is that it is located at a not too bustling not too quiet place in North Perth and they have many unique menu!

The most flavoursome Thai food I have had in Perth. The staff here are very welcoming and friendly, and went into a lot of detail explaining the different dishes to us as two of our group were not that familiar with Thai food. Spring roll starters were a pleasant surprise - the pastry was really light, and they had been cooked with care so that the pastry didn't soak through with oil and the lovely veg and glass noodle filling was just the right temperature and was crisp and fresh tasting. The tom yum soup was beautiful with great depth of flavour, and the daily special soup (chicken dumpling soup) was a huge portion with big meaty dumplings also full of flavour in a light broth. Both soups had lots of fresh veggies in them. The tom yum fried rice was something I've not come across before but was also great - tangy flavour with lovely big prawns through it. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The only slight negative is that the cafe was a bit smoky as it's quite a small place, but other than that we had a great meal.

I had also ordered take away for my family. My children had requested massamam beef. Sandy had suggested roast duck noodle soup which we have never tried it before. Initially I was a bit apprehensive about this new dish. That evening, my two teens had tried the soup noodle and gave two thumbs up.
Thank you Sandy for your recommendation again. Looking forward to try out some of your new dishes.
Great Pad seew. Best I've had in Perth
Decided to try out this place instead of brunching at the numerous cafes on Angove Street. Best decision made - delicious food served in generous portions, staff are plenty friendly and cost a lot less than eating a full meal at a cafe. Will definitely return.
Scotty and I are always keen to try local venues where we can BYO vino, and as soon as we heard about this new Thai eatery ...Scotty and I had to try the Thai fish cakes of course. We’ve tried countless versions of these over the years, and these were smooth, tasty discs, served with a sweet chilli dipping sauce. Happily, they were not rubbery as Thai fish cakes often are.
I Had My First Meal at Wrap and Rice About a Month Ago. It is So Tasty. Deffently One of My Favourites Now. Chicken and prawn pad Thai, unbeatable

Good food, good value. We ordered takeaway and were not disappointed. They use quality produce and serve tasty meals. Fishcakes and satay for starters were good. A stir fry with chili jam and cashew nuts sauce was excellent, as was the green chicken curry. Only complaint: the steamed white rice should not be so lumpy and coagulated. Fix the rice issue and you've got a great place for Thai food.
The best Thai food in Perth!. Being a huge fan of the Cottesloe restaurant, we were very excited when we heard Wrap n' Rice was coming to our neighbourhood!
Over the years we have tried a few Thai establishments around town, but Wrap n' Rice takes the crown. There is something on the menu for everyone, including a great range of vegetarian and gluten free options. The curries are delicious with plenty of flavour, and if you're after something a bit lighter, the wraps, salads and rice paper rolls are a healthy (and incredibly tasty) option too!
On top of the great tasting food, everything is fresh (mostly made to order) and the service is always very friendly and highly efficient.
Wrap n' Rice is definitely in my top 5 places to eat in Perth!
Great to see the team from Cottesloe open their second cafe. This one is much closer to the city and in a great location. Had the Chicken Curry, Prawns with Tamarind and Beef with fresh Green Peppercorns. All dishes were first rate, fresh ingredients, lots of vegetables and packed with flavour.
I'd rather dine here in casual surroundings than pay more for less quality food at other places. Staff are very friendly and the service is quick & efficient. Great music too!
Fresh Thai just around the corner. With the opening of a second branch of the Cottesloe-based Wrap and Rice Cafe, there's a new and very competitive Thai option for those of us living in Northbridge or North Perth. This place has it all: great flavours, as much spice as you request, ultra fresh ingredients, a relaxed vibe, inside and outside dining, and service with charm. Loved the red chicken curry but the beef massaman really made our night. Oh, and you can pair the food with your own BYO wine. Put it on the must-try list!
So great these guys have opened a new store. I love the red and green chicken curries so really recommend for lunch and dinner
Absolute family favourite. Delicious light and healthy Thai food accompanied by top service. Favourites include chicken with tofu and peanut sauce.

Hot Curry !!. tried a chicken green curry extra spicy and it was veery nice!! a new favourite i think.
visited two or three times now and the staff have been friendly and helpful. the new cafe layout is funky and fun.

Gado Gado Rice Paper Rolls. picked up a pack of three gado gado rice paper rolls for $8.50. sensational peanut sauce with tofu, egg and assorted vegetables. above average and very delish. will be trying the curries soon.

Angove Street. out of the ashes of 'the flying taco' comes 'wrap n rice' ... haven't had a chance to try the food yet BUT the cafe itself looks pretty funky.
Delicious healthy thai food! Didn't walk away with the usual heavy, oily feeling.
Service was great. Favourite new dinner spot.
Brilliant! Take a bottle of wine and give it a go.. So thrilled to have a new cheap BYO Thai down the road in North Perth. Brilliant food, totally casual, well priced. Take a bottle of vino down and give it a go. One of the best pad thai's i've ever had! Is big competition for other local Thai restaurants in the area!
