You know what you’re in for here. Not fancy. Classic dishes that will fill you up, leave your fat if you smash them too often, but man they’re worth it! used to buy the full length breads and homemade dips regularly.
Legit the best kebabs I’ve ever eaten. Satay sauce is to die for. Pizza bases are epic and cheap! Great for nights when you can’t be bothered cooking..Dips are amazing!! Servings are always large!!
Had the lamb mince & cheese and chicken, spinach & cheese Borek. Very nice!! Fresh and tasty ingredients, average price.. Worth the 6km drive
One of the select few places I would go to when I'm craving for a kebab. Their kebabs are nicely done and very delicious along their service being prompt and friendly.
Good tasty pizza with soft base & with good amount of salami for toppings. No vegetables toppings as our request & due to cheat day and it tasted awesome and what we needed!
Great place for Turkish food. Fresh, warm and delicious. Must try once in Perth. We went there twice already during our two trips to Perth. The place is close to the city and easy to access.
This place is not about the ambience, but the food! I had a chicken kebab with garlic sauce. The kebabs are really big with a generous amount of chicken. The chips were nice and crispy. Though they are flavoured with chicken salt so if you aren't in to that it does gives different taste. The staff were really friendly and it was quite busy early evening!
We have visited Istanbul's kitchen a few times this year and have never been displeased with the quality of the food. Huge portions and delicious pizzas. I always order the pepperoni pizza and the chicken burger for my Mrs. Great chips, and affordable prices. When you walk in it looks like a typical kebab store but it's so much more then that and if you have any complaints whatsoever, they tend to that. I don't know these people nor ever had a conversation with them, they receive a 5 from me today solely because of the quality of the food is at a high standard.

Seal of Approval. Good food has been made at this establishment since the fall of Constantinople. Always busy, always accessible and some of the best value for kebab going around. The borek is a must given that the good folk produce their own bases making it truly authentic. Only grievance is that they aren't open to all hours.
These guys do great kebabs with fresh bread made on the premises. You can watch them create the flat breads and bake them right in front of you. Grab a takeaway Turkish bread if you've got a dinner party and your guests will gush. It's been quite a few years since I've had any other menu items as I can't go past a chicken with the lot. They are fresh, big and tasty and seeing as they have survived for some years, they must be doing something right. A chef friend of mine had two kebabs in one night he was so impressed.

Food: Chicken Borek and chicken pizza and chips
Major: The borek bread is nice and fresh with that slight elasticity that Turkish bread is known for. The chicken and cheese is a good combination and the flavour of the chicken is tasty and even better with a hint of chilli. Everything is fresh, they cook it when you order it and there is always fresh bread being made onsite. The pizza is also tasty and is more of a Turkish bread that pizza dough. Overall you can't complain the quality for a takeaway place is surprising good. It passed my expectations.
Minor: The chips were good, better than average and other takeaway places chicken treat, HJ's etc , chunkier than fries not brilliant but I suppose they are more of an addition than a meal. I thought the salt put on was sweet, but other people thought I was imagining this??
Ambience:
You can sit inside or outside and a lot of people choose to buy takeaway. The location is on a busy road but it's nice to sit outside. It's not a place that is meant to feel fancy it' more of a genuine family run affair.
Major: Pizza comes straight from the kitchen onto a metal tray. I like the novelty
Minor: Plastic kid like plates and cardboard containers for the borek haha it's take away I don't mind anyway.
Service:
This place feels genuine. It's run by middle eastern people, it's family run. It has a seen of authenticity and the service is fast and friendly.
Major: The food is fast, they serve you straight away and are very friendly.
Value:
$13 chicken only borek, $14.50 large chicken pizza. Large chips $5
Major: Perth is Perth, if you know what I mean. but relative to other places for quality and portion size it is good. The chicken pizza is pretty filing and chips are too. You could share the large pizza between two people if you were not as greedy as me.
X-factor: This place feels real. You can buy fresh bread from here. The food is tasty, service is fast and friendly and it's family run. The only downside is that it is a takeaway place but other than that it is fit for purpose. If you want quick tasty takeaway than this place is very good for that.
Good value turkey pizza...the staffs are friendly. This shop make their own breads too.we ordered it for take away..we had chicken pizza...it was cooked in the wood fire oven and it tasted great with chilly sauce too

BEST PIZZA OMMGGG. Best pizza I've ever had!!! It's HUGE and the prices are also reasonable :) I love this joint on a Sunday, hungover haha x
So tasty. Lahmacun and Pide are my favorite. Everybody has to try this restaurant at least once to see how delicious is the food.

Fantastic ArmenianTurkish Kurdish cuisine. These guys are great, highly recommend as they bake fresh Middle Eastern style breads and make their own Lamacun Babagoosh, etc.
Pizza bases. I don't particularly like they're style of pizza (pides are awesome) however they're take home bases are the best for a wood oven or stone top pizza.
AWESOME!!! My brother took myself and my 2 teenage children here for lunch. The food was fantastic. The kebabs were awesome and the dips and fresh warm Turkish bread was to die for. They were constantly busy but you didn't wait more than 5 mins. We had to take some bread home thats cooked right in front of you. This is going to become one of favs. Well done guys!!!
WOW!. I am absolutely blown away! these are the best kebabs iv ever had and iv even been to Turkey! the bread they wrap the kebab in ,if there is a heaven it was baked there and given to these guys! but no they actually bake it fresh and on site. Despite only having 3 people on and being extremely busy i got my kebab within 5 minutes and it was so hot and tasty i could barely hold the thing! i will be frequenting this place a lot ! my waistline is hating that this joint is so close to home! must try it 10/10
p.s i am 100% sober! these guys food would be wasted on a drunk person.

Lamacun pronounced lamachoon is awesome. Personally I like it even more than the kebabs.

Enjoyable. This is a great little Turkish cafe and I have to say the owner is a really kind person. The service we have received from himself and his team of staff has always been friendly and welcoming. I personally am not a fan of kebabs (from anywhere) but what I love most about Istanbul Kitchen is the Lahmacun, which is a large thin piece of bread covered in minced beef, herbs and spices. It's usually eaten as a breakfast or snack meal in Turkey and I believe this is the only place you can get it in Perth! Keep up the great work guys :)

Came with 3 other people I have to say we were all satisfied... My sister had the lamb and spinach borek which was so good we all had a taste her partner had a kebab he said its the best kebab he's had and will be back :) my daughter and I shared the mixed plate got some extra bread and babbagaboush tabouli hommus it was delicious :) there was no faults service was good price is reasonable food is excellent we didn't even finish ours we ended up taking it home! Will pop in again :)
What a find! Perfect everytime! My fiance and i have been regular customers for over a year and can't fault the quality of the kebabs. We often pass several kebab shops on the way to collect our order with no hesitation. Istanbul kitchen had never once dissapointed us and their kebabs reliably exceed expectations, opposed to other sometimes good sometimes dissapointing kebab shops closer by. try the lamb kebab with tabbouleh and sweet chilli/garlic sauce even hommas. You will not regret it! Best in perth if not aus!!! Great service too.

Great. I brang my family here on Saturday night. My husband had the Lamb kebab with the lot and I shared a pizza and gozleme with the kids. Everything was cooked in the woodfire oven, tasted great and service was good. My kids loved the dips and Turkish bread too.
Best Kebabs EVER. I have tried many a kebab place including city kebabs and georges kababs at Curtin Uni but this place is the best! When I started working in the area I was getting kebabs a couple of times a week
Been first time in Istanbul Pizza fresh bread nice Pizza on top of that excellent customer service.
We had some great kebabs and borek here - service was good, food was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to eating here again.

Seriously good food! Quality and value for money. My favourite is the mixed kebab plate. i have been coming here for over 15 years, and never found anywhere as good in Australia.
Food is great. Toilet is outstanding, I was apprehensive having to go "out the back" but was pleasantly shocked, so clean and well looked after. Silly things like that are important to me in eating places.

Just got a couple of kebabs and as usual they were fantastic. Produce is always fresh, delicious and consistent.

I have been a long time regular and no other kebab place in Perth does better! Fresh delicious kebabs with home made flatbread! One of the few places that neatly wrap your kebabs so it's not falling everywhere!
The kebabs were alright🌞the meat was quite dried, though. Also, it seems that they touch food directly after using eftpos machine, without any gloves? 😷 let us know if they sanitise the machine 👶 nice staff so i cant give them 3 stars.
