Fried chicken cravings fixed @seven_grams in North Perth. Spicy boneless half serve; Sweet Chilli boneless half serve; Garlic boneless half serve; Bulgogi; and lotus chips! Such a busy night. Loved that there were boneless options. I enjoyed the kimchi jjigae and the kimchi pancake.

Even better that the korean fried chicken I had in Seoul. We ordered the platter and extra fried for people of 3, it was very fulfilling. We loved the crunchiness—even crunchier than KFC! Perfect for casual dinner with friends, because they do split bills and the price point is student-friendly.
we got the platter that came with 3 flavours (original, soy, and sweet chilli), chips,
slaw, rice cakes, and a garden salad, all for just $36. i love the variety you get with this platter, plus they let you swap for other flavours if you don’t like the 3 default ones. chicken was tasty and fairly crispy, although some of the meat was a tad dry. for the price and the overall taste and quality however, i definitely can’t complain! service is just like any typical fast food joint, although there is table service here.

What a gem! Ordered the fried chicken platter and the kimchi pancake (washed down with a crisp BYO beer from across the road). Both types of chicken were sumptuous and the side dishes balanced out the flavour well. Taste and texture of the pancake also excellent.
I especially loved the homely yet slightly whimsical vibe going on here – felt just like being back in Seoul. Couldn't help feeling very content and happy as we ate.
Yummy yummy fried chicken! We had the original, spicy chicken and garlic chicken to take away. All taste great, crispy, mouth watering aroma. Good to have with beer at home!

Awesome food, great service. Slight mistake in the kitchen (sauce mix up) but waitress apologized profusely and offered to fix it and also offer extra sides. Prices very reasonable and the Korean fried chicken was comparable to some of the best places I’ve eaten in Melbourne. Will recommend this place when I’m back home.
Been here many times and not once have they disappointed, well, in terms of the fried chicken of course. The tteokbokki wasn't the best but, overall, very nice, cosy place.
Amazing Korean Food! We tried the original fried chicken, soy chicken and sweet chilli chicken with the side serve of coleslaw and salad. We were all wowed at how delicious and fresh everything was. Cosy family restaurant with affordable prices. We will definitely be back!!

Korean fried chicken is the best! 7 Grams Chicken & Cafe fried chicken does wonders for my taste buds. We ordered the special combo which was a perfect blend of fried chicken in your preferred flavoured, chips and sides to give you a variety of flavours. My favourite out the flavours was the soy & garlic, the sweet chilli was indeed sweet but the spice level was a little too tame for me. The side salads were great and really mixed up the dish. Two of us were not able to finish the dish, however the kind lady gave us boxes to take away. Will definitely be returning!
Found another place in Perth to enjoy delicious Korean fried chicken! As a group of 4, my friends and I ordered the combo (consisted of original, soy garlic, sweet chilli chicken, crinkle cut chips, rice cakes, coleslaw, salad and radish pickles) and the spicy chilli cheese chicken. My favourite was the soy garlic, the flavours were there and not too overpowering, the original chicken was crunchy even after it cooled down which was awesome. It was also nice that the sweet chilli chicken was not overly sweet unlike many other Korean fried chicken places out there. Spicy chilli cheese chicken could be spicier in my opinion, felt that sweet chilli chicken was even spicier than it. The chicken took some time to be served even though it was not peak hour, presumably because they were made and fried to order. Serving portions were large and we had 10 pieces left to takeaway!

Went there once a month to eat amazing spicy cheese chicken. Always juicy n sweet n spicy! Better quality than any other chicken places in Perth! Cant stop eating until i felt too full! Cheese is pretty sweet n savory n some how they can maintain the qualityy n even betterrrrr! Defo, go there nxt mth:)
This great cafe was the pinnacle of our night, as we started our night here we started to realize that this mystical chicken has the ability to make your night go from 0/10 to 10/10. I think next time i want to have a good time i will visit this place and ascend to 9grams.
Had this very delicious Korean style vegetable pancake- the taste with the sauce was incredible but hmm I was left a bit hungry? Own fault- next time I will tank up with their delicious looking chicken 🙆🏼😆

7grams! An amazing place to have lunch or dinner.. we went late lunch was absolutely empty but the service was great! Very friendly staff and the best part was their music was just amazing! On a wet winters day to just sit and enjoy a meal of fried chicken and extremely fresh salads was such a delight on the palate. I recommend everyone to try this place..!
Only thing i would recommend is to add some salt on top.. the fried chicken is a bit bland..

The location is pretty small, but we lucked out on seating a large group of us because of the rain. We were virtually the only ones there.
There only seemed to be one person working in the entire restaurant but she was super nice and friendly.
We tried to special combo which had the original fried chicken, sweet chilli, soy and garlic (original is always the best I think) and I loved their condiments that came with the meal (pickled radish was delish!)
Personally, I think all Korean fried chicken tastes the same - whether it's from gami, nene or 7 grams. While I probably wouldn't make the effort to come here specially, the chicken was still pretty bomb.
I usually come to 7 gram once a week for my friend chicken fix. My favorite is the soy garlic also really enjoy the sides of raddish coleslaw and salad all really good.

It was pretty quiet here for a Friday evening, bit surprised. Decided to try their variety plate - 3 styles of fried chicken, herded chips, coleslaw, salad and pickled cabbage. The chicken was nice and crispy and wasn't drowning in the seasoning sauce which was good. In comparison to the other Korean fried chicken places open in Perth, I think this one was probably not the best. I liked the coleslaw and chips.

I love coming to 7Grams Chicken because, well, obviously, their chicken! Plenty of delicious choices including sweet chilli (the best), spicy chilli, soy&gaic, snow butter, and many more! They have special combi of original, sweet chilli and soy&garlic with plenty sides with only $34 - this is ideafor large group. They also have 2 choices (half or whole) to allow even more flexibility.
The chickens are soft and juicy and they are pretty generous with the sauce to allow stronger taste!
Not only their chicken, 7grams also boast a series of must-have sides including onion rings with cheese sauce (my personal favorite and I strongly recommend people to try this if you haven't), sweet potato chips (unfortunately they were sold out 2 out of 3 visits), coleslaw, wedges, etc.
On top of that, 7grams also have plenty of delicious beverages to make your dining experience complete. Ice chocolate, ice coffee, ice matcha latte, juices, smoothies, you name it! This gives bonus point for 7grams as not many other Korean Chicken places offer such beverages.
Service is decent, staffs are polite despite sometimes having trouble to understand our english. But language barrier is insignificant when it comes to how good their chicken is! Also, place is quiet small with limited seatings, so you better come early!

Value for money. Death by fried chicken. Food coma guaranteed. 7grams is an interesting place to eat. Don't ever go to KFC again. Combo meal was huge, for 3 really. Flavours are strong and tasty. Staff are friendly and happy. Lost a point for being generally very messy inside and had an appearance of not being clean enough.
Small but in a good location with lots of parking. Got spicy chilli & cheese chicken with coleslaw and salad sides. In the future I would probably skip the sides, too much vinegar in the coleslaw and salad was too sweet.
Now the chicken on the other hand was extremely cheesy, juicy and well done. We got the whole platter between the 2 and couldn't finish it. After a while the sweetness in the chilli got a bit overpowering but in general it is a well balanced meal for a bigger group. Would order again.
Lovely chicken place in North Perth! It looks like espresso cafe but when you pass by you can smell really awesome chicken. Price is reasonable, they have two option half/whole chicken and also serve crunch burgers so when visit alone you have many choices. Staffs are really kind with good smile. They cook as soon as you ordered so it's fresh and crunch. They have some kind of sauces, so I can take whatever I want. Good price, better quality and quantity. Never miss this place.
If you like crispy chicken, this place is heaven. Really cute little Cafe with friendly staff. Coffee was really good too what a bonus! We grabbed the chicken combo special that is to be shared between 2 - 3 people. Incredibly delicious with heaps of sides and the spicy sauce on some of the chicken had such a flavour hit.
They had some cool savoury pancake options that I can't wait to go back and try. If this looks like your kind of deal then definitely give it a go but I can understand it might not be for everyone.

Another weekend, another Korean Fried Chicken feast. This time we checked out the relatively new, 7 Grams in North Perth. The location is a little obscure, but once you see it, you can't miss their cute external and internal decor. When we arrived the place was filled with Koreans, so we knew they must have authentic flavours! So, 10 of us dined here and in the end we took up most of the restaurant.
Love this place! So glad we discovered it. Delicious fried chicken, big serves, tasty chips. Friendly service and great value. Our new fav place!!
After being recommended by several people to visit 7 grams, I was excited to finally eat here a couple of nights ago. After ordering the big mixed platter (garlic and soy, sweet chilli and original fried chicken, coleslaw, salad and chips) for $40 with a soft drink, it was pretty clear we wouldn't be able to finish it. The original fried chicken was quite dry though and chips too. However, the sweet chilli and garlic and soy were incredible. Loved the puppy dog that guards the place (sleeping on the job in the photos). Best for small groups.
Crunch Chicken Burger with chips $14 was Amazing. Good job.
Bacon Zizim-E (pancake) $15 very tasty.

Chicken. Fried Chicken. Awesome fried chicken. Korean Styley. That's what this place is all about. The signs at the front suggests that this is just another Cafe just like the rest of them down this strip of North Perth but no no no, this is one of the places that supply some of the best Korean Fried Chicken that there is.
Opening hours are late, especially on a Friday or Saturday night and also fairly easy to park (there is a suburban shopping centre carpark across the road for you if you need), great prices (damn good value, trust me) and nice and cosy and clean. The staff are funny and friendly and very accommodating to your needs and bring a piece of Korean culture to Perth that is very much needed (environment is very similar to a few Chimek restaurants in Seoul and Busan when I visited Korea).
Come in a group and make sure you order at least One of the Special Platter. It has enough chicken to easily feed 3 to four people and presents some of 7Grams best flavours. Soy and garlic is yummy without making you wish for a drink and even the original fried chicken is delicious on its own. Take a bite, close your eyes, savour the taste, then open your eyes again and look at the wonderful juices still pouring out of the meat. Fried chicken usually becomes dry after being deep fried but no, not here at 7 Grams, and the flour they use for the batter is a high protein flour that doesn't keep the oil and make it greasy and soggy. The platter also offers home made coleslaw and mu (pickled radish) a side of chips and a quick salad. I do appreciate these little sides to help refresh your palate and any refills are reasonably priced ($1-3 dollars). There is of course also the usual spicy option and also the marvellous and unusual Snow Butter flavour (reminds me of buttered and sweetened popcorn).
Chicken burgers are decent as well if you are coming alone, and of course they make a decent coffee (good standard for a place that primarily sells fried chicken) and also Green Tea Latte.
This is one of my favourite places to go in North Perth now as well as Korean restaurants as they are so convenient and friendly, and good value.
So, we were deciding what to have for takeout movie night at home, when we drove past, and realised this place does fried chicken! Not just that, it's out of this world delicious! The Dalkgangjeong is sooo good! The service is always very good, and everyone is super, super friendly. There's such a Korean vibe to the place as well, it's like walking into a cafe in Hongdae. You don't need more than good fried chicken! This place puts the colonel to shame! Good eats!
I wanted take away comfort food and 7 Grams certainly delivered tonight. You'll find it on a corner on Fitzgerald Street just across the road from the North Perth Shopping plaza and you probably won't miss it - it's brightly lit!
A full serve of the original fried chicken was more than enough even for two hungry people with eyes bigger than their bellies - we did not finish it! A half serve along with some sides would have been sufficient.
The chicken was spot on - crisp, salty and mildly spiced on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Vegetable pancake was tasty, chips were crunchy and coated in herbs and the coleslaw was tart and delicious. Service was lovely and I will be coming back often!

When I ordered my fried chicken, the staff warned me that the hot fried chicken would be really spicy. I thought, ‘Bring it on, you don’t know that my tolerance level was quite high’ (yes, I can be quite snobbish when it comes to chili hahaha). It was SPICY and if you’re not ready to eat this please choose the milder one. I like the good kick of chili and I washed away the burn with my pickled vegetables. See, it worked really well when you combine hot chili sauce and the refreshing coolness of pickled vegetables. This was my favourite out of all three that we ordered.

We want to order fried chicken with bone they didn't have. So we had to order combination boneless chicken, where slightly less sweetness..and less enjoyment 😁😁

came here on a weekday evening to get some takeaway, we were recommended the place by a friend and thought we'd try it out since we were in the mood for some fried chicken. went a little overboard as we tried 5 different kinds of fried chicken, all of them delicious. we haven't had a chance to sample all the other korean fried chicken places but this one ticked all the boxes. would return...and soon.
The best chicken ever in my whole life. Unbelievably well cooked chickens with various flavours and glazes were melted in my mouth.
It was so impressed that I could taste such a korean style chicken here in Perth. Previously, none of fried chicken shops ain't impressed me so much with too pricy and less perfect chickens. Compared to the restaurants, 7 grams chickens were more tasty, tender, fresh and simply awesome.
BYO was allowed and just across the road, there was a Coles liquor shop. What a combination. Imagine juicy and crunchy fried chicken with a couple of icy cold beer that you want.
In addition, the chicken burger with kimchi (Korean popular side dish) was so great and I highly recommend, as well as the coffee that they sell.
Ever since I went to 7 grams last month, it has been my favourite restaurant to go to. With outstanding service, it was an amazing food experience. Korean style chickens are juicy and succulent and even the side menus are alot delicious than any ordinary restaurants' ones.
Chicken wings with spicy sauce is especially one of my favourites. The spicy sauce has such an unique taste and it just tastes great with the chicken.
Everytime I order chips as a side menu, I get surprised of the amount of chips I get. The chips are so many that makes me hlaf full already before I take the main menu.
In terms of both taste and food quantity, 7 grams is definitely recommendable and a must-visit place and I hope it continues to provide an excellent food and service

Such an unsuspected location for amazing Korean style chicken. The girls who run it are really sweet. Definitely recommended if you want some dirty but authentic Korean chicken, the sweet chilli and garlic soy were both delicious.
This chicken is so delicious. I love chicken too. 7 Gram look elsewhere to eat chicken do not eat chicken.

What a nice suprise, turns out that this place has a little bit more to it now.
Theres a Korean chicken and burger bar added to the regular coffee cafe. I tried the Kimchi chicken burger this morning , it was so delish!! Would definitely be interested in going back to try the rest if Im in the area .
People are friendly and didn't have to wait long for food.

7 grams espresso has been in my hood for as long as I can remember. Never been but as soon as you mention fried chicken, I'm there! I think the "Korean fried chicken and burger bar" component is a recent addition.
Grabbed some takeaway: 8 pieces sweet chilli chicken wings, half soy garlic chicken, bacon pancake, wedges, 3 side $5 combo of salad, pickled radish and coleslaw. And a macadamia brownie. $63. The lady asked if I was having a party. I said yes but it was really a dinner for 2.
I initially went to order the spicy chilli wings but the lady warned me that it was "crazy hot" and that Koreans put chilli in everything so the sweet chilli was already pretty hot. In hindsight, I should've ordered spicy chilli wings. I loved the sticky marinade though and my wings were crispy.
The soy and garlic didn't have any kinda sauce or glaze on them and found them a tad salty but fine when you ate them with rice.
The bacon pancake was outstandinnnnnng. So much yum! It was more like a hash/fritter than pancake but soooo soooo good.
Anyway, I can see why she asked if I was having a party cuz it could've easily fed 4.
The lady was super friendly and actually gave me the rice for free because I forgot to order it and had no cash on me and she didn't really want to charge my card for such a small amount. I also asked if she had sour cream for the wedges and she said no but would go across to Coles and get some for me. I really appreciated that she went the extra mile and therefore will most definitely return!
Went last week to 7 Grams and it looks like they've changed up their menu in recent weeks to include more Korean inspired options. The kimchi fried chicken burger I had was completely delicious - spot on combo of spicy flavored & awesome crunchy panko fried chicken. Looking forward to trying more of their Korean style offerings and would encourage them to not be afraid of pushing things further in this direction as I think North Perth will like what's on offer once they discover it.
7 Grams. Seriously in love with the coffee here! Definitely the best I've had in Perth. i also love the set up of the store and how it has that small business feel to it. Shame it's closed on a Tuesday!
The staff was very friendly and so approachable. Service was great. We absolutely enjoyed the food. It was outstanding. The price to portion ratio was perfect. The space was very good, it could accommodate big groups (10 people) and small groups of people. It was clean and welcoming. Would definitely come back again and recommend this place a try for sure. This place was recommended to us for the quality of food and reasonable pricing. Found the place to be airy with high ceilings and good ventilation. However the kitchen is actually part of the dining area hence the smell. We ordered their famous fried chicken, salad and rice. I was expecting nene chicken but actually theirs was better. Would come back definitely when the craving of Korean fried chicken. The 21km drive is worth it!
Great spot to enjoy fried korean chicken, on the menu they offer a full platter with 3 different flavours and you can actually change them all. Roughly $25-35 per head will get you full and with a drink. Be prepared to wait though, been there a few times and it's usually 40 minutes. Would recommend the boneless options (spicy was my favourite). Avoid the garlic unless you enjoy a slight bitter flavour. They do give everyone a plastic glove to eat chicken with hands plus a fork.

We got the 7 grams special combo. It comes with 3 flavours of chicken and sides. It was good value for money and can be eaten by 2-3 people. The chicken was cooked well and was served hot. My favourite flavour was the sweet chilli. The only let down was the chips. They were stale and dry. Service was prompt and friendly and the ambience was bustling. Would be happy to come back here.
Very good place to have Korean Fried Chicken!
They have a lot of choices for the flavor for the chicken. We had the soy glaze chicken and it was really good. The sweet chilli was a bit too sweet for my taste. We also had the Spring Onion Wings and it was also very good! It has some mustardy, vinegary kinda sauce that makes the dish balanced and fresh!
The portion is big for the price and the service was also very nice!
Food: Food was great, ordered their special combo for 40 dollars and had 3 different types of chicken and a few chips with veggies. Was delicious but took a while to be prepared, definately worth the wait though.
Dining: There is plenty of place to sit however the quality of the seating area wasn't great but honestly not bad either. The food definately stole the show.
There was K-pop playing in the background to get you in the K-Food mood which was nice.
Overall a nice place to grab lunch with some friends and laugh over good food.

First time here. The fried chicken dishes were fantastic. We had Spicy Chili with Cheese and garlic fried chicken plus a Vegetarian Japchae. Very tasty. Busy joint. Will be going back again!
