Review The Rotisserie House - North Ryde

What happened here? I haven't been here for around 6 months. Today, I find new management and owners who seem to understand very little about Mediterranean food. Strange responses my questions. Meats were pre cooked and dry because it is reheated on grill. Salad does not taste as it should. No flavour. Also portion amounts have been cut (not that it matters when you don't like the food enough to finish it). For any good quality food to be prepared, the owner should have a good understanding of the flavours of that cuisine. I seriously recommend owner finds such a person before it is too late.

Never again, the portion sizes have dropped dramatically and the prices have gone through the roof! Then the "manager/owner" whoever she is, got cranky, raised her voice and carried on like a pork chop when I challenged how I just paid $23 for 330grams (yes she weighed it) of dry lamb..... $8.50 for half a serve of potato bake, but no discount, just add a couple of bits of dried out old "baked vegetables" on top.... I have been coming to this shop since it opened, but never again! There is far better food elsewhere locally for far better prices....

I usually getting good experiences but lately it is getting big less and less satisfying and today I was waiting for 15 minutes for pre cooked chicken wings. I double checked with lady who gave my order. She even said it has 4 wings and 1 chicken tender in it. Well, this is what I found at home. My little bub is pretty disappointed that his chicken tender is missing. Hope you enjoying your free $2.5 tip.

I has a schnitzel burger which was still pink and had blood in it. I asked for a refund and the owner abused me because there was a few chips missing. She ripped the burger into pieces before my eyes and infront of other customers. She short changed me in the refund due to 3 chips missing. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING. I will never be attending again.

Rotisserie House used to be our favourite takeaway. Flat Chickens, excellent meats and salads. Since the new managers/owners? it is very ordinary. no flat chickens, dry meats, small servings. Read the staff signs on the wall to see how they operate. Look elsewhere until they go back to their roots or close.

I ordered through delivery and this is what I got for $34.80. Pork Belly Souvla $22.9 and Coleslaw $12.9, and coleslaw's taste definitely not worth the cost.

Quite surprised by wild variations in reviews for this place. I’m not local and randomly ate here whilst in the area for work. My colleague and I had a mixed meat souvlaki with chips and it was delicious! The meat was tender and tasty, in a soft, fresh pita with tzatziki. The serving size was huge, with a big stack of crispy fries. As I said, I’ve only been here once but would definitely come back if I’m in the area.

This used to be a great shop. Whilst waiting for our order we have the joy of watching the shop attended mop the floor, dump the dirty water and then without changing gloves or washing his hands handle food. Also found a lot more sugar than salt in our chicken salt. Never again

First time there about 10mins ago. Excellent - clean, well presented and welcoming. The staff are friendly and even ask the small things like preferences for the part of the chicken you want. The food was fantastic. Very generous servings of tasty and succulent chicken. The salads were great. Glad we have found a great Chicken shop! It's been years since we have found one we actually want to go back to. Awesome work guys!

Never disappoint! Delicious chicken, salads, chips and burgers. My personal fav is the Portuguese chicken burger! Shop is clean and staff always friendly. Now all they need to be on is on UberEATS � �

Great yeeros! great prices.. love coming past after the gym, they've got great meat and nice salads and veg.. finally a decent joint in North Ryde without the headache of shopping centre parking..

Been to #therotisseriehouse a few times since it's opened, glad to finally have a place in #NorthRyde that offers great food and good customer service, a one up to the team, the chicken burgers are nothing short of amazing, a must try!!!

Good quality milk bar style hamburgers, chooks and gyros. Will definitely be back to eat again.

Lamb is average the pork is very fatty so you are paying for the fat not much meat as well as the rolls & wraps. I think the chicken could do with some work as well as their cold salads. Side dishes such as potato are ok. Over priced menu but.

There is nothing more satisfying than fresh, juicy and delicious meats, and The Rotisserie House definitely delivers. I highly recommend the full chicken with the most amazing crispy chips, and the incredibly flavourful lamb souvla. I am also a big fan of the succulent pork belly and I love the huge variety of healthy and tasty salads, with something to suit everyone. The burgers were less impressive but still good. I would happily recommend a visit here for what they do best - the beautiful rotisserie meats! This place is an absolute local gem with such friendly service and a very warm inviting dining area as well.

With the freshest salads and succulent meats there is something for everyone at The Rotisserie House. I love the kind of place I can bring the kids and keep them happy because happy kids = happy parents🤣. But seriously the selection here is awesome and the flavour is larger than life! I even managed to sweet talk my way into getting the secret recipe for my favourite dish, the crazy delicious lamb souvla cooked on the spit! Just like the name, this shop serves a variety of rotisserie meats. During my visit I tried their rotisserie chicken and it was delicious. Chicken was juicy and flavoursome.<br/>Their burgers and salads also didn’t disappoint. Intrigued to try their pork next time (the cracklings look so crispy!)

I truly love this place! Amazing chicken suvla roll and best chips! Highly recommend if you want a quick and tasty lunch. They could add some more salads to the offer.

Fantastic Souvla/gyros and charcoal chicken. I've tried a few gyros places and this by far is the best bang for buck! Superb quality without the silly price tag.

I'm surprised that that this place is only currently given a 3.2/5 because I honestly think it ticks a lot of boxes and deserves a lot more attention! Scheduled to try this place for takeaway with a friend. The staff was very welcoming, and I guess it can be a bit troublesome to get to this place (better either by parking or bussing). <br/><br/>Unfortunately I don't have photos this time to back my claims, but I ordered the rotisserie house burger meal (inclusive of chips and drinks) for a very worth $12.50. The chips combined with the chicken salt was really good (some of the better quality chips I've had), and the burger was very large and flavoursome, and generous on the aussie beef. Not much to criticise about it, but the cashier had forgotten to give me my drink I had ordered. <br/><br/>All in all however, definitely a place worthy to try in the Ryde region. Would definitely take some friends there if they're around the area to experience some really good burgers!

My daughter ordered a roast pork belly and lemon potatoes takeaway for Father's day celebration and the taste was amazing. She raved about the cleanliness of the place when she picked up the order - definitely would go back to this place.

Found this gem after living in the area for 5 years now. Been looking for gyros fix that is close by and looks like we found one!<br/><br/>Decent serving for the gyros and good price. <br/>A bit dry when compared to other gyros place but still good.<br/><br/>Will try their burgers and souvla on the weekend.

One of Sydney best kept secret, this place always surprise me with food made to perfection. I don't think ive had fries this crunchy before. The Roast wraps ,& rolls are to die for. Highly recommend this place.

Finally I have found somewhere that cooks a great chook like back in the day! I bought the feed the fam pack, generally when I have bought pack style meals from other chicken shops, I have found its not the greatest meal with soggy chips and really dried out chicken, However these guys know what they doing!!! My chicken was so fresh,<br/>moist & juicy with so much flavour. :)<br/>I then had my salads we opted for the Greek salad. AMAZING!! The best I have had in a long time. It was fresh and packed with loads of feta & olives along with Many other goodies Which a lot of other places these day are quiet stingy with their salads! Last but not least the all time favourite to have with a chook is chips. Again I can't fault this place. They where cooked to perfection hot and crunchy. Needless to say this place makes you feel like your at home. the Staff are always so friendly and polite. Always happy to try an accommodate you further. This is an absolute hidden gem on North Ryde. I'll be back for sure! I would highly recommend it!!!!

Not sure why so lowly rated. The service is friendly and you have that local business feeling when you go in. I was thinking of moving into the area so chatted to the staff for a bit and took home a roast pork. It was brilliant. Great crackling which is a sign of a great roast. Well done.

Really nice gyros and souvla near my work. The pita is fluffy and the meat delicious. Chips are crunchy and fresh. <br/>The prices are cheap! A big generous gyros is $8.80 which I think is a bargain <br/>The place is busy so they must be doing something right :)

This place is close to my work and when I'm craving for a delicious gyro then I go here ASAP. Paul the boss man is very friendly and the food here is always fantastic. The chips are so crunchy here and I highly recommend any gyro with tzatziki - the pita bread is always soft and fluffy and the meat juicy.

My family and I Come here quite regularly. Food is fresh and delish great quick meal that's relatively healthy. Great new edition to North Ryde!

The meat is good, the salads are good, the tzatziki is good but the prices are okay. I'm still glad to have a Greek style rotisserie in my hood!

Over priced, and hated the service. I just hated the service, the younger guy in there is just really angry for whatever reason, really off putting and very harsh and non welcoming tone and lifeless experience everything is way over priced. Half the time they get the orders wrong really, totally inexperienced and that's reflected the turnover of staff and bad communication between staff and kitchen. <br/><br/>Definitely would not go there again, and Definitely would not recommend
