Review I-bangkok - North Ryde

So great Thai restaurant Chicken satay sooo good Sauce was amazing Even u dont get lunch special deal, its reasonably price Feel like bit different than before, its yam anyways.

There's only so much you can do with the cuisine of any nationality, except when you do it badly. The more restaurants you have serving the same style of food the harder it gets to elevate one over the other. And especially when it comes to Thai food, which would have to be the most represented cuisine on the Sydney food scene. So my criteria is, would I eat here again. And the answer is YES, I would eat at Bangkok again. Started with the duck pancakes, which were pretty damn good, salt and pepper squid which was a cut above the usually oily offering at many Thai eateries and fish cakes which were ordinary. For mains, my partner had Thai fried rice with prawns which she enjoyed and finished the whole plate which is a rarity for her. I had the crispy skin pork belly salad with jasmine rice which would have been perfect had the pork belly not been cooked too long and been allowed to dry out. $65- value with oodles of friendly service and smiles. Yep, I'd eat here again.

Probably the best Thai restaurant in 2km radius. Their crispy Barra section is really good with fish under different flavours/sauces. Curries and stir fries are spot on!
