New lotus biscoff range coming out soon at Tella Balls Top Ryde! Love love loved every single item from this range especially the Tella Ball which was so soft and pillowy, absolute heaven. I also would highly recommend the Nutella Overload Sundae which was basically like eating a bowl of chilled Ferrero Rocher - delicious.

Another Tella balls branch that I visit while I’m around the neighbourhood and they launch the lotus biscoff series. From the lotus donut, lotus coffee latte, lotus waffle and pancake. We also got the Oreo waffle and chocolate overload sundae with Ferrero on top. If you are dessert lover this place will spoil you with all their amazing dessert.
Tella Balls is one of those places you go for your chocolate dessert fix. Whether it be a shake, donut or another crazy chocolate concoction, you’ll be impressed. Essentially tella ball is a brioche style donut ball that they sell in many different flavours served solo, on a shake it with numerous other possibilities. We had the Belgian Callebaut milk choc, the original tella ball shake along with a huge crisp waffle filled with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate.
They have some interesting things like the fish and chips (fried ice cream and donut chips), dessert kebab or chocolate lasagne which we had. So creative! This is certainly worth a visit - the dessert enthusiasts and kids for sure will love it.
The Waffle Burger at Tella Balls Dessert Bar should really come with a warning: “Do not attempt alone!” Two large scoops of vanilla ice cream and fresh sliced strawberries and banana are sandwiched between freshly made Belgian waffles and smothered in Nutella. For these cooler winter days, the hot chocolate made with Belgian Callebaut milk chocolate is also a winner although you can never go wrong with an Original Tella Ball Shake. The Top Ryde store is located outside on the piazza level near Devlin, and is a great spot to get your Nutella dessert fix. Thewhereto
If you are a Nutella fan, then you ought to visit Tella balls at least a few times in life. They have waffles, pan cakes, crepes, and various other desserts from chocolate and Nutella to be specific. We had the Oreo crepes and the Belgian pancakes...
Would surely love to describe the Oreo crepes to you.. imagine a scoop of ice cream 🍦 surrounded by crumbs of Oreo cookies 🍪 sprinkled over alternate layers of Nutella and white chocolate. The layers running throughout well arranged cold crepes. To add to it, imagine that these crepes also consist of Oreo crumbs and Nutella in between 😍 Blown by sheer imagination
Likewise, the Belgian pancakes were two pancakes layered with chocolate sauce, sprinkled with strawberries, topped with vanilla bean ice cream and some hot chocolate...
Have managed to avoid the hype of the Tella Balls for the last few years, until now. This place is a dieter's worst enemy, there is literally nothing on the menu that won't tip you over the daily recommended calories intake limit. However they are just so good, who doesn't like a donut filled with nutella & then a good milkshake to wash it all down. Perfect combo. Just have to save up the calories before you indulge, but worth it.

Awesomeballs desserts 😍 yet you really need to share these because they come in quite a big portion and taste can become too overwhelming if you kept on eating the same thing.
The waffles they serve is amazing. I love it! The service can be better - like they don’t set up the table for you and not care if you have the cutlery or not. Small things matter a lot. Otherwise I love the waffles!

OMG TELLA BALLS!! 😮😍

So much Nutella!!😍 We had a Tella Ball Slider with a Lamington Ball and also 2 Strawberry Shakes, one with Nutella Ball and one with a Gaytime Ball. A Nutella lovers heaven. For most things Nutella they've got you covered.
✔️ Obsessed with the original Tella Balls dessert bar, so clearly I was overly excited that they just recently opened in top Ryde as it is much closer to me than the other locations. Came on a Friday night, it’s definitely not as packed as the other locations so the service was super quick. Tried a classic banana split and a chocolate milkshake. Both were nice, the banana split was refreshing but nothing special.
❌ I enjoyed my experience much more at the other Tella Balls. Their desserts are huge, extravagant and delicious - but here both the banana split and the milkshake were a bit disappointing, let’s just say it was certainly a dessert I could’ve gotten anywhere else. The service is also substantially better at the other locations - just overall a lot more welcoming and professional. All of the workers here are obviously new, they were shy and interacted with their customers the bare minimum.
UPDATE: THEY HAVE IMPROVED!!! 😍😍

We visited a sunny Sunday arvo, the menu is fantastic, full of photos.
Waffle burger is an absolute monster that destroyed the both of us, we felt so defeated cos we were unable to finish it. The waffles were delicious and HuGe. You get 2 scoops of vanilla bean gelato sandwiched between two Belgian waffles with lashing of Nutella topped with strawberries and banana. The photo on the menu does not do this dish justice, when the waffle burger arrived at our table we were both shocked by how big it was, it's more of less the size of my head, id say the plate was 15cm x15cm you do the maths. It was absolutely delicious, to be honest, this would feed 2 people, if you are coming with a friend or partner, order this between 2-3 and just get some table water - believe me it will be enough, that would work out to be about $11 pp which is a pretty good deal . unless your stomach is an endless pit I would not recommend for this to be eaten by 1 person.
Tella fish and chips which is fried house made vanilla bean ice gelato in Panko crumb with donut chips. Sam ordered this and unfortunately I wasn't a big fan of this set, I found the ice cream flavour to have been obscured following the deep frying - it's not quite deep fried ice cream. I personally think this can be improved. The donut chips were alright upon arrival however once cooled down it was just crunchy deep fried bits which I didn't like..... However Sam really liked it, he felt the entire dish wasn't as heavy as expected and said it was refreshing after eating the waffle burger. Sam liked the tella fish and chips better than the waffle.
The original tella ball shake in banana with malt and almond milk was ace and a good choice cos it wasn't too heavy and good for dessert lovers. You get your choice of tella ball on top.
Sam was out of his mind and wanted a mocha, despite my warning of diary overload. So he was unable to provide an accurate verdict on the mocha. I think we have learned a huge lesson following our visit better to under order than over order. We also felt that there should be warning signs on the waffle burger haha. The serving is very generous and much bigger than expected.
So here's the rating, I liked the waffle and shake but disliked the tellafish and chips, Sam really liked the tellafish / chips... ahhh can't win. I wanted to give them a 3.5 as I quite disliked the tellafish and chips as novel as it is, Sam wanted to give them a 4.5... so we shook hands on 4/5.

My Angel Son cooks the crepes and knows how to make heavenly sweet treats. I had a delicious Tellashake. Thickshake with 3 scoops nuttella gelato plus a tellaball donut on the straw. Loved my first experience and will return for the bunless burger, before my sweet fruity waffles for dessert.😋🤤👌💖
Their shakes are great and so are the doughnuts. Generally a good dessert place with service to match.
