Nice, cozy place for pizza and pasta in North Sydney. Located nearby North Sydney Council at Miller Street. I tried the Gnocchi Aurora. It taste as good as it looks. With pinky sauce. So nice. Price considered reasonable. Will try the pizza next time.

STOP RIGHT THERE AND READ THIS. This place is a hidden gem!! Ladies and gentleman this is it. You don't need to go anywhere else for food! Pizza Pasta Bene offers two for one pizzas every Tuesday and it is unbelievably tasty and authentic. Woodfire I presume? Beautifully cooked to order and not too overwhelming with the ingredients. If your not too keen on pizza don't worry as they always have an assortment of different menu items for you to try. Not to mention FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!!! Here's why: - They open the door for you upon entry/exit - Staff consistently pour water for you when your cup is empty - Staff are extremely welcoming and very genuine - Will follow up to check if you are satisfied. It's the little things that count.

My wife and i arrived in Sydney late afternoon after a long drive and for our first meal we felt like italian. Found this place on google maps 5 min walk from our hotel. Fast friendly service nice atmosphere and very nice food. We had the spagetti Bolognese and marinara both excellent. Will be back to try pizza they looked great. Well done !

Great food, ok service, rude staff.... On first impression, Pizza, Pasta, Bene screams the right positives of an out of town, Italian eatery, a short distance from North Sydney rail station. In front, is the main restaurant with business conversion to the rear sporting a glassed pizzeria open till reasonable times. We arrived on a Wednesday evening, opting for a quick bite, so went to the pizzeria where I was met on entry. The dining area was uncluttered and not busy, with two or three covers seated as we arrived. Being show to a seat, I asked if I was able to move to a booth, due to a table of 8 enjoying their evening. Expecting a welcomed reply, I was informed the table wasn't ready, feeling more of a hindrance for asking as I said this was no problem. Having sat down, our 'waitress' for the evening came over and laid out table, a sheet of brown paper, two napkins and some cutlery - not the most taxing of tasks, before walking away looking almost disgusted with our seating choice. Having sighted the menu for a few minutes, she returned with a slightly happier greeting and took our order. Food arrived in super quick time, opting for a 13" meaty pizza and chicken risotto dish. Both tasted good and a plus for the establishment having a good chef. We were checked on during the meal and left to enjoy our food until collection of empty dishes at the end of the meal. On her return, our 'waitress' offered us coffee or desserts to which we opted to take the bill. To my amazement as she walked away from the table, mimicking our last statement sarcastically. This left a sour taste after some good food. She return in super quick time, card machine in hand. On receipt of the bill, I was then amazed to be asked with audacity whether I'd like to provide some additional payment for the staff on top of our $70, leaving me in a difficult and rather awkward situation of declining the offer as the service had not been up to acceptable standards. To top our experience off, our waitress, noting the lack of tip, looked as if she struggled to thank us for our custom, disappearing as quick as she'd arrived, leaving us to vacate a rear empty restaurant alone, saved only by the bar tender who greeted us on entry, showing minimal hospitality. A small Italian eatery, good for food... as long as your not looking for hospitality or friendly staff. Dominos may rate slightly higher in decorum...๐Ÿ™

Great pizza and pasta! We went the place for 2 people, ordered salad, pizza and pasta. Both daily special and regular menu looked so great, so we took one pizza from daily special and one pasta from a regular one. All dishes were great. We loved the pizza. I think itโ€™s better to book.

Colleagues have been raving about this pizza place for ages but never got a chance to try until recently. We went on a Tuesday, walked up Miller Street to an unassuming cottage frontage, with Pizza Pasta Bene hiding out the back. Its cute decor and open plan style was great and homey. We ordered the much raved pizzas for the Tuesday special. She ordered gluten free which is perfect! All their pizzas are able to be made gluten free which is like hitting jackpot for gf choices. She had the meatball pizza on a gluten free base which is a teeny bit smaller in size but the flavours were great. I ordered the housemade salami pizza on the normal woodfired base and it was amazing. We think their pizza sauce is housemade too because the tomato flavours were so fresh and clean. 100% recommended for work lunches or dinner or whenever really!
