Classic Dining alert! This is not a trendy city or crows nest restaurant! we did however love what we ate and will come back. Had Chorizo and proscuitto and rockmelon and wow was it good to go back to these classics. The service is the same style of the food classic old waiters (sorry) but it all matches. The steak and lamb where truely excellent as well as the desserts of mouse in a 1/2 circle. Wine list is a standout as you expect in this style of restaurant wit some well priced aged wines. Aged Riesling for $60, yes please..
We where really impressed by this restaurant considering I have worked in north Sydney for the last 3 months and nobody has mentioned it. Very old dining room that works inside this building. We have also been to the spit restaurant and although its food is the same the rooms are completely different. I will take my partner here very romantic. A lot can be said for warm bread, good butter and warm professional hospitality.
Mosman’s iconic Cala Luna has relaunched with new flair following the fire at Middle Harbour Yacht Club in early 2015. I always used to groan and roll my eyes whenever I was told I had to cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I mean, is anything really worth a trip where I have to pack snacks and water? My opinion definitely changed when I met Cala Luna. The view just driving in was absolutely astonishing and was even better at our table. Let me tell you more...

Good food, great ambience complimented by some excellent service.
The Steak is a must try!
Absolutely lovely, staff were fantastic and the meal was delicious, a nice touch to be given a single stem rose at leaving , will definitely be back
Set inside a heritage federation style mansion, Cala Luna in North Sydney (it’s also Middle Harbour) is an intimate Italian restaurant with also four rooms available for functions. It was pretty cold when we went last night, but there was easy parking along Miller Street, with the normal paid metre-ing finishing at 12:30pm on Saturdays. We were the first table to arrive for the night at 6pm, using a TravelZoo voucher, which was $200 value for $99 (excluding drinks).
Sssshhh .... this place is lovely!. Sssshhh .... don't want to say too much or this place will be fully booked every day!
The service was impeccable, did enjoy humour with the maître d. Food was totally delish! Nothing truly beats their Southern Highland pork; had the garlic prawns this visit with hand made pasta with mushrooms, marscapone and truffle - definitely no complaints and wow no room for dessert.
Love the perfectly chilled Italian pinot grigio - a fab lunch time wine!
I must commend Cala Luna staff on the bathroom - very clean and user-friendly!
