Wow. Delicious breakfast at reasonable prices. Good food, good service, great decor. The eggs are the best I’ve had … possibly ever. Will come back.

One of the best Cafés in Sydney for seafood chowder! Their alkalizing bowl is very good and filling too. Usually go on Saturdays and is always easy to get a table. Service and staff are great as well.

Incredible, did not expect this high level of culinary arts in this unassuming little cafe, holy s##t! Anyone who works here and doesn't eat lunch here is a fool.

Blue 36 is one of my local cafes so it's the next one on my list to try. Blue 36 is situated ideally across the road from the blue st entrance of the North Sydney train station. This is handy as you can get one when you arrive or leave in North sydney if they're decent. The place is really nicely decorated inside and well laid out with plenty of seats. Water is self service refill of cups which is a little annoying as I prefer to have a jug rather than get up each time I finish my cup. There doesn't appear to be any seats outside. I ordered a large latte as I like to test cafes to see how long their foam last with the coffee that has the most of it. This is what I call the latte foam and art degradation test. As per my picture, it only lasted above the Midway line which is normally a failure in my books. The foam for a latte should survive until 2/3 minimum to pass. Coffees where the foam disappears early makes for a more unpleasant experience. Even the latte was a little messy and sloppily done, not really resembling anything. The second time had better initial impression though the foam still did reach beyond the halfway line. Overall I gave it a 3 instead of a 2 because I know they can do better and they should. The foam and latte issue can be easily resolved doing a YouTube tutorial on how to ensure that foam/art does not dissipate quickly. Another suggestion is to bring a jug of water at the same time as the coffee. Once these are done, 5/5 will be given! Second time coffee was still not up to scratch so I'll be leaving it at 3/5 for the foreseeable future as I probably won't be back for a long time.

Decent breakfast- we tried the soft pumpkin and the chorizo scramble. Both were well executed. The service was very quick and friendly. The cafe is opposite north Sydney station so convenient for that and the back opens into the shopping centre.

We had a great breakfast experience at Blue 36 yesterday. Lovely modern café. Plenty of seating. Not too loud like many others. My husband was very impressed with his quinoa avocado dish & my bacon & eggs were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was lovely.... friendly, attentive, forever smiling & nothing was too much trouble. She is a real asset to the business. She is the sort of person you want dealing with customers. Sadly I did not catch her name but if Blue 36 read this, hopefully they will pass on my praise for her. We give them 10/10. Excellent food & service. Well done guys!

Had a lovely experience. Was going to go to one of the top 20 cafes next door, but found it to be very limiting in the menu and needed up at blue 36. Absolutely delighted. Simple, not very expensive and what a great service! Will definitely be back.

Great new joint in North Sydney!! Great coffee - Just the right amount of bean flavour in my long black, not too bitter nor too burnt. Great fragrance. There are quite a selection of food to choose from as well. Great service - Owner baristas surely know how to make coffee and take care of their regulars. They remembered my name after 2 visits!! All staff members are extremely friendly. Overall - Top Cafe hands down!!

I have been coming here for about two months. As good as the food and coffee is, what sets this place apart is the attentive service from the friendly staff. I wish other businesses in North Sydney would follow your example. Well done

It is hard to find good food, good coffee and most importantly good people all in one place. This cafe has it all. If you don't go here your life will be a little less bright but don't worry, you'll never know what you've missed.

One of the waitresses came over with a heated blanket and placed it on my lap this cold morning. How's that for service! The coffee was great too!

Food and service at the cafe were lovely, what ruined the entire lunch was after returning to our car in the Greenwood plaza car park we were charged $49.39 for just a minute or two over 2 hours!!! We then spent 15-20 minutes trying to get the parking attendant to answer the buzzer as we were sure this was a mistake as the advertise 1hr free, and then had to call Wilson's parking info number was told, you have entered the third hour and this is the correct price!!! Thank you Blue 36 but we will never, ever return. Most expensive burger and coffee in history!!!!

I think Blue 36 is one of the best cafes in North Sydney. It has creative menu and the price is reasonable.
I really like the chorizo wrap. The tomato relish in it was delicious.
Coffee was good too.

The friendliest service I have come across at a café. The coffee was really great and I am definitely becoming a regular. A large skim flat white was only $4. Haven't tried any food yet but the prices are very affordable and I have only heard good things about this place!

Lovely cafe opposite North Sydney Train entrance (street level) in Greenwood Plaza. Staff were friendly, coffee great, and I had a delicious egg, bacon and tomato relish on turkish bread for only $7 takeaway, but you can eat in for $8. It was served piping hot and wrapped well so I could eat it without it dripping on my clothing. Lots of menu items and will be going back with a friend for one of the burgers and super salads.
