Came on Sunday for dinner, between the 9 of us we ordered 2 seafood, meat and vegetable hotpots, 3x BBQ beef + rice.
The portions of the food were amazingly huge! They were so generous with the ingredients, the entire hot plate of the BBQ beef dish was beef (and 2 slices of carrot and some spring onion) . The hotpot was full of seafood and the soup tasted delicious. The ingredients of the hotpot also added nice flavours as it cooked away.
The diner was operated by an elderly korean couple, so when they start making your orders, you definitely walk over and help; and also help clean up after your meal.
We were so satisfied after our meal - food was cheap and yummy, we will definitely come back to visit again!
I have been going here for well over a decade way back during HSC days for the $5 student deal. Always reliable for a good feed and still pop in every Sunday night to heat the Monday blues.
Traditional Korean delivered in a simple kitchen environment. The old couple who run this place make tasty dishes and ample serving for a very low cost. but don’t expect fast and snazzy service. Its a place to have a chat and enjoy whats on offer.
I'm a sucker for small traditional honest places run by the hearts of true people from other countries. True, it is not the most upmarket and freshest restaurant out there, but I fully support an elderly couple bringing their cuisine in the most honest way. Cheap, hearty, generous and delicious. I'm not looking for upper-class oil-free, organic fresh food. I want warming dishes from the heart and that's what you get. Kudos to the sweet couple for setting up this place, I love coming here after my library sessions.
Much better asian lunch place than saigon imo
Kimchi is the sour kind though but still good. Decent serving of beef and rice and price is pretty decent too
Owners are nice too and not bad for a casual Friday lunch
We ordered fried dumplings and bi bim bab and they were awesome! Highly recommend it.
Great food! Price is amazing, with delicious food and warm customer service. Will definitely visit again. BBQ pork is really popular, as well as dumplings and spring roll.
Great family run authentic Korean restaurant. Delicious home style food, and lovely old couple run the restraunt. Would definitely recommend and come back.
Great traditional korean food. Big servings and very well priced. Place looks like a family run restaurant with the parents cooking and they make delicious food! We had the dumpling soup and fried dumplings- both home made dumplings of great quality, the nengmyun and kimchi stew. We went for dinner and they were kind enough to make the nengmyun for me even though it's only on the lunch menu. I hope this place does well! I'll definitely be back.
The store has really surprised me, heard it has been there for 30years, even older than me 😅 tried the cold noodle on lunch menu, since I am from a city full of Korean background people, I ll say it is very very nice, if they can put ice in will be perfect. Going to come back often~~

A family Korean restaurant. Food is cozy and made by a lovely Korean old couple, remind me of my grandma. Dishes are so cheap and in nice portion. Love the kimchi seafood stew, stir fry rice noddle with vegetables and barbecue beef stir fry. Definitely gonna come back again!
A very nice homely restaurant. An elderly couple who work hard despite their age. It's as cheap as you can find in all of Sydney. I suggested that when the meal was ready, you go and get it yourself, because the old woman had trouble with her hands and feet.
Elderly couple runs this place and serves very homey Korean dishes. Having eaten in and also ordered takeaway, I can vouch that the kimchi jiggae, japchae, bibimbap and sweet and sour pork are delicious. The kimchi jiggae in particular is my favourite - not as sweet as other kimchi jiggaes that I've tasted but a lot of punchy flavour from their homemade kimchi. The Korean Ginseng tea is also very comforting, especially on a cold winter's night.
They've been around for a long time as my mother remembers eating there more than 30 years ago!
Love the atmosphere and the elderly couple who run the restaurant. The food is good and give you the home style Korean food experience. It's always so peaceful there which make me enjoy my food even more. If I want to be honest, I'm not only going there to have food. Going there gives me joy!
Amazing koren food I have experienced in a while. The place is run by elderly couple who are just about providing meticulous food and service. I was planning to order a main and a side. I was politely warned against it as the mains were quite large. Really love their integrity and energy. Will keep coming back
It is such a lovely place to enjoy the meal. These are the best ramen I ever have in Sydney. If you are looking for premium food, this place may not be appropriate. However, if you are looking for family tasty food. This is the home. I strongly recommend all people who go there could help the grandma send dishes. Cheers. Pictures are sea food noodle soup. I took it when almost finished.

At a personal level I loved the quaint old charm of this place but as other reviews explain it's run by an elderly couple who do struggle with pace and mobility. Do not expect quick service. Do however expect home style Korean dishes patiently made for you. The homemade kimchi was a highlight for me and we both enjoyed the potato pancake. The japchae uses different noodles to most other Korean places we have tried, they are not as soft and sticky. The bibimbap looked great, taste was fine when eaten with the kimchi. Quite a rustic style with raw beef and egg. The rice was sort of rough, not sure what to make of that. Bargain soft drinks, and many dishes are well priced too, particular the lunch menu.
