OMG heaven on a stick!! I had a mini quiche Lorraine and a mini cheesecake!! Seriously, I was in heaven! My husband is gluten free and yes!!!!! They have quinoa bread which is awesome!! Love this place !!

Love to come here for a cup of coffee over conversation with friends/family or just browsing through the weekend paper. Their pear tart is to die for. Best thing is it is open on a Sunday while most cafés in the neighborhood are closed!!!

Disappointing baked goods. Avoid the creme brûlée where the top hadn’t been hardened at all (not worth what you pay!) and mediocre croissant. Both overpriced for what you get.

We have been going to Saint Honore Bakery once a fortnight as treat for 20 years and enjoy their tasty pastries, cakes, bread and hearty pies. Their products have not faulted or let us down. The best is the Beef Burgundy pie followed with a custard tart.

Fabulous coffee, exquisite and tantalising array of food - both sweet and savoury options. And the staff are always so friendly. Could not fault this place even if I tried! My absolute favourite part of every morning. :D

I go to this bakery most weekends as they consistently deliver excellent baked goods. Although a comparatively small selection, I especially enjoy their hot pies.

Delicious almond croissant and macaroons

I have been going to this bakery since it first opened further up Miller St decades ago. The quality of their cakes, bread and pies has been consistently outstanding since they opened and it is by far the best onsite bakery in the area.

Purchased a Black Forest cake with chocolate on top. Cake was stale and when we contacted the owner he refused to take responsibility and was very abusive on the phone. All I wanted was an apology but got abused.

Wow, this place has gone downhill...

It’s been a few years since I’ve been here...once it was a leading gourmet bakery it is now fairly run of the mill place.

Bizarrely I went in wearing business attire, asked for a pie and sauce to ‘eat in’, then was given a paper bag without sauce. While paying I said I needed sauce and I was ‘eating in’ (since I’d noticed plates and cutlery) and she said ‘eating in’ and gave me the bag with sauce. Then I sat down and was about to eat with my hands and then went to the counter again, asking for a plate, knife and fork and she said ‘knife and fork?’ - you get the picture...exhausting experience to just get a pie with sauce to eat in.

Pie was average although it had nice big pieces of quality beef, but little flavour...

Best avoided. Better options available close by.

Love this small unassuming little bakery/patisserie offering lots of sweet and savoury items as well as fresh bread. All are lovely and good to sit in to enjoy as its quiet or takeaway.

Walk pass this all the time, but never really thought to stop & get something. This day my lunch was just not satisfying enough so went in here to get a treat for the afternoon. So many varieties to choose from! Can't go pass an apple crumble tart! Then wanted a macaron as well, but seeing they do a deal for 4, I ended up getting 4! The apple crumble was ok, wasn't too sweet, probably taste better if it was warmed up. The macarons were pretty big in size, so even one is a decent snack. Not bad, but not overly exciting either.

My colleague recommended this place for hot chocolate, but koko black has raised the bar too high. Coffee was pretty good, service is ok.
Pastry is very nice, even better than red mango, which is also very nice..
Other colleague was not happy with the price saying a few years ago it was pretty much half price.
Probably not as good as Baker's Delight to be honest. This place is only popular because there are not many bakeries in North Sydney.

St Honore is a cosy and feels very warm inside. My work colleague loves this bakery and introduced me into the delights of vegetarian rolls, little cakes and other little treats. I had a craving for one of their spinach and feta vegetarian rolls. It's got a nice salty bite to it with a bit of crunch. It hit my spot and so that was my lunch for the day! It will cost you a few bucks for a treat. I'll come back to try a few other things.

Only takes cash. I'm sure their food is lovely, but I didn't get to try it. After making a special trip, found that I had to pay cash for my $60 worth of cakes..... I understand no credit cards, but no eftpos at all? What is this 1982?

Cold and stiff.. Totally agree with the bitter woman behind the counter. Found her condescending and cold. Pies and sausage roll is good. Coffee could have been better.

Very average coffee, my soy latte was too fluffy and the milk on the borderline of getting burned rotten. Their bread may be good but I only ate the vanilla slice because I felt sorry to waste my $4.20.

BEST PIES IN SYDNEY!!. Steak and mushroom pie unbelievably delicous!!! I can't wait to go back and try the sausage rolls and beef pie!!! I have never eaten such a delicous pie in my life! the quality and freshness is just so good!!!! definetely a big difference between a four and twenty pie!!! but if you like pies this is the place to go!! I really don't think anywhere could top this!!! Absolute perfection!

A cut above. Have eaten here on and off for years. Sausage roll and pies are awesome and good quality - anyone who says different basically only knows Four and Twenty. The food is in 4 sections - hot food, pastries (croissants, sourdough rolls), bread and then a cabinet of sweets. The macarons are bigger than other places and you get 4 for $10. They're trying out a new chocolate fondant which is not bad. The service is workmanlike - they get a mix of staff from other countries so it can be a bit hit and miss as others have noted.

Staff rude and indifferent. Smile guys it make a difference. A clearly miserable barista and bitter woman behind the til. Shame the service was so bad, the coffee and food was fine. With so many options in North Sydney, I won't bother again.

Great breads and range of treats. What we had was tasty and light, especially the pastry. Coffee was not strong enough for me as a long black drinking but I guess you have to balance it against the sweetness of the sweet treat and cater to the local mums.

Coffee very ordinary. Coffee really ordinary - went mid-morning week day, with no crowd. Coffee over extracted and hence bitter. Milk lukewarm at best.

Didn't try food but didn't look bad - might come back to try but will avoid coffee.

Been here on an almost everyday basis to get myself a sourdough bread roll. It ranges from decent to a bit on the burnt should side. Skip all that is not sourdough though. The hot food is probably the only other thing is get.

Good Bread, Bad Coffee. The bread is always fresh and delicious here and there is incredible variety too. From the display case I've sampled their sausage roll, spinach and ricotta roll, vegetable pie, meat pie, chicken pie, croissant, pain au chocolat, ham and bechamel slice, macaroons, brownie, and also some of their baguettes and rolls. While all are quite yummy they're not amazing. My housemate and I went here a lot when I first moved to North Sydney two years ago and I stopped getting the coffee after a few months. My housemate likes the coffee but he likes bland, milky things. I would avoid it unless you want burnt or flavourless (you should specify which when you order.) Which brings me to the service which is NEVER with a smile. Go for the bread at St. Honore, not for coffee or friendly staff.

Come here for my daily caffeine fix. Cheese stick was delish. Service is great.

A really great bakery, their spinach and ricotta rolls are the best and their sandwiches and coffee are superb too, definitely lucky if you work round here!
