Food was surprisingly delicious. Great view on the rooftop floor featuring a bar with plenty of alcohol. Staff are polite and respectful. Overall a great place for work Christmas parties and functions, or just a night out with friends. The rooftop level is usually booked out for dinner so it’s best to call and book a table first for your group.

The view from rooftop bar is amazing but it’s hard to find a table most of the time. Food isn’t bad with a wide variety. I had their burger. Pretty well cooked. Middle floor has some private rooms for a more private evening. My friend said they like their cocktails.

Had dinner on the rooftop with great views of Sydney. Menu has the usual pub food fare. Order at the bar, food was served quite quickly. Food quality and taste was fine. Servings average size. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff.

The Glenmore Hotel is known for its rooftop views of Circular Quay and the Opera House. Be sure to book ahead and request a table with these views as some of the rooftop tables overlook Cumberland Street. Food is the typical pub menu with steaks, burgers and schnitzel all featuring on the menu. I ordered the schnitzel and it was pretty good. Generous portion size and reasonable pub prices, especially considering the location. Soft drinks are also pretty reasonable at $3 each. There are various options for seating including outdoor on street level as well as inside and private dining options for occasions. The pub has maintained all its historical charm. It’s perfect for visitors to Sydney as well.

A nice old pub in the historic Rocks area. The service is excellent and the view is magnificent. It was our first visit for a birthday celebration and I can't fault the service provided. Plenty of seating areas both indoor and outdoor. Overall, a great pit stop while exploring the area or on the way to the theatre nearby.

We enjoyed dinner and drinks and watched the Sydney Harbour Bridge Fireworks on New years Eve ! Absolutely Spectacular light and sound show! The pub has good food and drinks and its got a friendly atmosphere and is very popular, we got a table outside undercover, so we watched the fireworks and the hordes of people running like bulls down to the Sydney Harbour Bridge to photograph the Skyrockets bursting in the sky and rain on their phones! the crowd was huge but well behaved, we felt safe. We never heard such a thunderous explosion in our lives - it's stunning to hear the fireworks going off on the Sydney Harbour Bridge so close to you! The view of the fireworks is impeded but the Thunderous Sound is something you have to hear to appreciate. Wow! It was raining but no one cared it was NYE! a Fantastic adventure. We have enjoyed the pub tour through the The Rocks, starting with the Russell Hotel, in near the museum on a weekend. But New years Eve was on another level! Highly recommended to stay in the Rocks to fully enjoy the event - we had unforgettable happy romantic adventure! I'll post a video so you can hear how awesome it is!

This pub is well known for its amazing view of Sydney Harbour and Circular Quay. To get the full ‘rooftop experience’, make sure you book ahead. For walk-ups, there are plenty of other spots to eat at this hotel - these tables don’t have the harbour view though. There are three floors here. We found a whole room for ourselves on level two. Excellent food - order via the QR code at your table. Food is brought to your table. There are bars located on all three levels. Friendly staff. The pub is 100 years old, and historical items are dotted around the building.
