My night started of as a great night at the pub. The food was tasty, drinks delicious and good chats with friends. All you can ask for in a night! I didn’t think it could get much better...but it did! I met the most amazing bartender who was so polite, kind and wonderful! She catered to our every need with a smile and an unbelievable grace to her. Some might call her Grace Kelly but I believe her name was Gen! She was amazing and I’m so happy to see hospitality is not dead in Sydney! Seriously go to the Greenwood and expect an amazing night! 5 stars!!

Great atmosphere and vibe going around here. Set up in an old style 1800’s building oozing with charm. The food is pretty prompt and well done. Drinks are a plenty and service is great
Located right off Greenwood Plaza and North Sydney Station, this was a convenient catch up venue with friends. It is a very casual set up, order your drinks and food at the bar, make your payment, get a buzzer and grab an available table inside or out. If you’ve ordered food you need to head outside to the kitchen area to collect it. Pretty much a self service affair but it works! Service is friendly at the bar and pretty quick too.
A few drinks ordered and downed, we order our dinner and drinks. First to get my Black Angus Sirloin, I got received as described on the menu. Couple of friends weren’t so lucky and had the truffle mash substituted with fries but still an acceptable swap. The other order was for Housemade Chicken Schnitzel. All the food was presented well and it was tasty. Loved the mushroom purée on the steak and mash was smooth and creamy.
It was an enjoyable evening out.
Went for business lunch and was surprised how good it was. I’ve always known this place as somewhere to come for drinks after work, but now know it’s a serious eating destination as well - hard to find in North Sydney. I had the rib eye with mash and salad.
Came for a lunch with a few work colleagues . Were on a time schedule and the staff were fantastically prompt. Decent quality pub food. Couldn't complain about anything . Whole group was happy
Recommend the Wagyu Burger. Delicious.,.................

.....................,
This is definitely a summer pub considering most of it is outdoors. The food has improved since they had a new kitchen team, the menu stepped up from standard chicken schnitzel to nice thin crust pizza. Price was a little on the steep side but it is north Sydney where options are limited.
Lunch here is rather pricey in a pub food standard.
Very presentable and tasty. Just the portion is a bit small.
Funny that dinner was rather cheap. Drinks are in reasonable price as well.
Everyone knows the Greenwood from their Thirsty Thursday Nights. But due to a recent upgrade and revamp, those messy nights are a thing of the past. Undergoing a complete transformation The Greenwood Hotel is brighter and more spacious, giving this glorious piece of Sydney architecture the character, charm and atmosphere it rightfully deserves.
Outdoor work drinks. Gorgeous renovation of a historical sandstone school. * Good lunch location for a big group (reserve a table) * Good for after work drink as it has 4 bars (short drink queues) and plenty of courtyard space. * Generally a classy establishment; unless its Thurs "Uni bimbo meet businessman sugar daddy" night.... a very very entertaining evening for the local businessmen and women alike.
Nice bar and garden areas, great for post-work drinks. Menu consists of pizzas (all approx $13) or a range of dishes (all approx $10). Lamb Keats came on the well done side, generous serving of chips and salad garnish. Lasagna, again on the well done side, was quite tasty though not convinced it was made on site. Best dish in our party was salt and chili squid. It was freshly cooked in a light batter with generous amount seasoning. Beware - they're pretty spicy! Not an outstanding eat, but certainly excellent value for the money spent. I'd certainly go back.
Highly recommend the BBQ pork Saigon burger. Best burger I've had in a long time. Super juicy pork, tangy coleslaw and a lovely sweet umami sauce. Delish. Nice setting, looks like an old church though I think it might be an old school. Nice and warm even outside due to heaters.
Lovely old building. the timber work in the ceiling/roof is next level carpentry. Beer prices were almost as steep as the roof pitch $14 a pint. Loads of seating and staff were ok to good. Definitely worth popping in for a pint just to see the building.
Had my vegan pizza here and it was very filling! Good place for team lunch out.
Such a great venue. Perfect as usual!
Not a bad place to get lunch for a group. Food is nothing amazing (I had the steak which was a bit undercooked for medium, and head a lot of fat) especially for the price, but does the job. Service is good and it's a great setting. The safety precautions at the moment are pretty solid for the current climate with scanning on entry. Menus are only presented in phone scan format which is a bit annoying (honestly it could be on a wall poster and that'll still be socially aware) but a small inconvenience really. Love the old building, and there's good space inside and out and a handy location to the train or buses.
Great ambience, food and cocktails.
Highly recommended and will return again soon
Great venue for a music event, spacious, drinks are a little expensive who pays $7.00 for a glass of soft drink, security are ok some are just plain rude.
Had the raw tuna for lunch and it was amazing. A very nice place to go have lunch or dinner. Staff is always happy with a smile of their faces. Highly recommend this place for beers and good company
