Asian staff (big fat man) was so rude I was asking for salmon sashimi sliced he said it cost extra (I don't mind to pay extra) and I ask him again to make sure that was sashimi because that salmon got the skin on, then he just throw the sign with the price in front of me so I just quickly pay and walk away cause I don't wanna talk to him anymore this very bad service never go back again. That second time I got bad services experience form this guy always look down the customer,I don't care you are owner or not if you treated customer like this won't get my money again.

I don't normally leave negative reviews but my recent experience at this place wasn't good. I have eaten here many times in the past and it's been mostly a positive experience. However, on this occasion the staff were rude and got my order wrong. I asked for grilled fish and potato scallops. I was told how long it would take and was happy to wait. While waiting, I assumed they were cooking the food but instead the staff seemed preoccupied chatting amongst themselves. I waited about 10-15 minutes. One staff member saw me waiting and quickly dished up a salad and grilled fish. Not sure how fresh the salad was as it has left me feeling a little ill. I asked about the scallops and the guy put one pre-made one in the box. I didn't bother saying anything about the fact I hadn't ordered a salad and that I'd ordered potato scallops. I didn't want to wait any longer. I was just disappointed that I had been treated as an after thought. I won't be returning.

It was terrible experience with staff who looked Chinese fat man. I don’t know about all fishes name. He was insulting me. It is his job knowing about different kind of fish name. He was rude and unprofessional. We will not go back again.

Whenever I'm around North Sydney I duck into this place to get my fish n chips lunch. Sometimes I get the variety box which you can choose 6 pieces of assortments and chips (always with chicken salt) I usually get seafood sticks or fish cocktails. The calamari is a bit dry but that doesn't stop me. It's great if you're in a hurry and don't have long to wait for you food, it gets served up pronto. Chips are crunchy, and cooked better than most places, either that or I just prefer more crunchy chips)) Pricing is good, can get a feed for less than $10.

Popular with the school students, my goodness sometimes a deal is too good to be true.
$2.80 for a tray of salmon and tuna sashimi is double what you get compared to the sushi outlets in Greenwood.
My colleague warned their chips weren't great so I opted for the fresh stuff. Bad move!
Unless cooking the salmon my gosh it didn't taste fresh and the condiments supported that - the wasabi was no longer bright fluro green but almost black... it tasted extremely sour and had a horrible smell. It was expired. The pickled ginger had a revolting taste to it. I couldn't believe it.
Please I'm warning readers to pay the extra few dollars elsewhere. There is something wrong with this place. It is not fresh nor clean.

The smell of fried fish & chips always gets me on route to & from the train station. Came back this time at lunch time to try them out. The prices are are very cheap with a fish & salad or chips deal for $8.50, the serving size was decent, but then you do pay for what you get. The fish itself was one of the cheaper variety, and a bit slimy in texture. The grilled fish was crusted with a sweet tasting dukka. Overall, it was ok for the price, but I would pay a few dollars extra & upgrade to the salmon deal ($11) next time.
