Review Street Chef - North Sydney

Freshly made food and pre-packed for convenience. Chicken karaage is pretty good, however serving sizes are significantly smaller than what it was last year. Salmon avocado bowl tasted very fresh and is perfect if you want a lunch that is filling yet not heavy.

I searched high and low for a place in North Sydney that does awesome laksa. I wasn't disappointed. They had chicken, tofu, seafood options. I ordered the chicken and it was full of flavour with good (but not overwhelming) heat. More noodles and vegetables, less soup. A big meal if you're after one! Couldn't finish it all.

Delicious food. Reasonable prices. Quick service.

Rolls are decent, however limited variety. Pre-packaged rice meals look like good value but it's true what they say: you get what you pay for. Inedible, cold food.

Goated sushi place. The chicken terraki meal is absolutely stunning, every bit makes your mouth water. School lunch trips are amazing now that i can get a place that i know is amazing.

So good. Best laksa in north sydney. Rich, creamy, aromatic, with fresh tofu and plenty of veggies. Cant compare to the awful places in the food court upstairs. All other food is yummy and fresh too.

Really don't know what the fuss is about. Laksa was just weird tasting and didn't have any tofu puffs or egg noodles (just rice noodles). Had no heat to it. Not good at all.

Great service - Horrible Double Bondi meal. Chicken was cold and tough as rubber. Not going back.

I always make sure to only buy sushi from this place! Their tuna tastes extra amazing as they lightly pepper it and it tastes much more exotic compared to the regular tuna from other sushi stores. They always fill their sushi up with the topping with minimal rice, compared to other places such ad Sushi Hub, where i taste more rice than my topping. At 3-4pm they always have super cheap deals that are so tempting, and me and my friends always buy a lot from them.

Definitely worth the try for anyone who loves sushi or wants to give it a try!

I love their fresh rice bowls!
I’ve ordered from their premade rice bowls during lunch times and they taste great!
What I love is that their rice is always fresh and warm!
I ordered: Unagi (eel) rice bowl $10 and Kaarage chicken rice bowl $8. Their servings of the meat is so generous. These bowls look small but they fill you up!

Affordable and delicious, what more could you want! 😋👌🏼

Meh. That's all I wanted to say as it accurately reflects the rating I gave it. Apparently there needs to be 140 characters though, so am just filling them in now.

Have seen their poster of Laksa everytime I stopped by (along with ramen & udon), but have never been gamed enough to try (one don't normally find laksa & ramen offered on the same menu). Really felt like a laksa this time, so thought I'll give theirs a go. The combination laksa did have a bit of everything, but a bit mishmash. The soup was ok, but not great. Overall, not the worst laksa around, but I would probably not get it again.

Went for the afternoon deal before heading home.
The tempura prawn black rice sushi surprisingly has some mayo in it - which would be nice if they have a sign as those who have serious dairy intolerance would not be happy when comes toilet time.

The tuna avocado black rice sushi was tasty also, decent and average sushi.
