Espresso martini’s 🍸 are a Thursday fav, alongside the Drunken mussels 🥰what an absolute delight. (Bring back this special 🙏 please) I’m so glad we accidentally found this place, it’s amazing with awesome and friendly staff.
Happy to call this my local pub, will be going there a lot under the new management, the menu is varied and the food is excellent. Good atmosphere and the seating has been upgraded to very comfortable

I must say Daniel and the team were very helpful with setting up the room and making our guests feel comfortable by sharing the food platters, assisting with the music setup. We dropped in for dinner. The place wasn’t too busy for a monday night, with plenty of spacious tables to sit at.
Food arrived promptly, and serving sizes were perfect.
We ordered salmon, a pie and a side of chips. The Salmon and veggies were cooked to perfection, and the pie was yummy and filling
Great refurb of the hotel. Staff great. Ordered the nachos and the Guinness pie. Good food. Fresh and well presented. Any WOW factor in either dish? No. $45 dollars for nachos and a pie. I think with the money pubs are spending on renovations they need some WOW. I can’t knock the Union, it’s good
Excellent Loligo Squid Salad
I ordered the Loligo Squid Salad last night and I must say it was the best Squid Salad I have ever tried.
The squid was cook to perfection. It was so pleasant to eat: crispy on the outside and so tender in the inside. A joy to eat. The spicy mayonnaise combined with the
Solid menu with a good range of options, priced extremely reasonably, but our food was over cooked even though it wasn't busy. We were also asked to move tables twice, with no apology, and ended up on a weird table that's virtually out the door. Fries and new decor were a winner though!
This pub has so much potential. The upstairs and rooftop is excellent, yet it never seems to be open! I know extra staff might be required, but I would gladly walk downstairs to order and collect food + drink if it meant I could sit upstairs.
