Review Bar Bellaccino - North Sydney

Cafe Bellaccino is another of my local cafes so it was the next one on my list to try. The cafe is located across the road from Greenwood Plaza on Miller st so it was pretty easy to find. It has a number ot tables inside and a few benches outside. They do daily specials with a board stationed outside. There are cups at the end of the counter when you get inside, but you'll need to ask them to fill up a jug for you. The place was surprisingly very spacious, with probably not as many tables as you'll expect and the place would likely be full quite quickly. They allow AMEX payment without surcharge. I did not order any food, but golly I was very tempted as the prices were very reasonable. I went with the large latte. The latte was slightly smudged and not amazingly clean in it's execution. The latte degradation test was a passing mark, surviving slightly beyond the halfway line which was my pass mark. The coffee was ok in taste though I felt like there was something missing. It was on the cheaper side compared to other cafes at $4 for a large one. Overall the coffee was ok, not amazing. At $4 for a large coffee, there are very few places opened on the weekend that can match it. It's worth a try if you haven't before, especially for it's cheap meals.

I came last week and ordered their chicken mushroom noodle with wonton. Super Satisfied as it's BIG portion and nice flavour as well! they served it with their homemade chili sauce and i did ask for more chili as it tasted so yum! Tried their homemade brownies and banana bread too and i think they are great with coffee :)

Everytime I’ve been here the food is always awesome and reasonably price. Mie Ayam Jamur is my most favourite. Authentic taste and so yummy. Excellent coffee. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Bakso was unfortunately wasn't very good
Broth was tasteless... and noodles were instant... the meatballs were definitely not handmade (probably the ones you find in the frozen section of an Asian grocery)
Service was good; but you can't expect to pay $13.50 for small portion of food which taste wise; there are better options in the area

Don’t be fooled by the name of this place. On top of serving great coffee. They make authentic Indonesian noodles, rice, satay etc and they are delicious.

My favorite is the bakmie babi cincang extra spicy with a side serve of Indonesian meatballs! You won’t be disappointed

The coffee here is really good and the people who run it are super friendly and nice. I think it is a father and daughter combo. The food is just normal standard café stuff but pretty reasonably priced. Can recommend it for a coffee and a bite to eat.

A good cup of coffee is much needed to rectify the dissatisfaction left by a mediocre lunch, that’s why I found myself in Bar Bellaccino. The shop is spacious and the right side of it is connected to the lobby of an adjacent office block. The interior is fairly basic and doesn’t strike as characteristic. Similarly the breakfast and lunch menu are no-frill, simple dishes like toast, bacon & eggs, burgers, etc, nothing particularly exciting. Surprisingly my coffee was pretty good – strong and on point. The regular take-away is $3.5, can’t really complain in this part of the town.
