Best fish and chips I've had in the city in years. May even inspire me to get fish and chips more often - I'd stopped after being disappointed too many times . . .but I've been here a few times and food was consistently excellent, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. They also have good information on where the seafood comes from and how its caught which is really good to see. This is a fish and chip shop with a difference. Highly recommended.

Have been several times food is always excellent and service awesome. Made my day when i asked for a container of water for our dog when Renee was so good as to give us a bucket for him. Not many places welcome dogs but they happily did. Thank you!
Great food, good price point. Was worried because calimari was twice the normal price, but they are three times the thickness and cooked perfectly. Good chips and good fish. Friendly staff.

We love Tobin Fish Tales so much! We recently had them cater our daughters birthday party in the park with a giant fish and chip feast.... and just as we expected, it was excellent both is service and quality!
It was even better know that we didn't need to run around getting organized for the party with nibbles and snacks etc.... the team ensured the fish and chips were ready to collect right on time for our large group of friends and family and together we all enjoyed a delicious picnic of fish and chips! Everyone who came along to our daughters birthday party loved the food and the convince of it all!

Fresh caught mackerel in a housemade crumb, dont let the dark colour of the crumb fool you this fish is perfectly cooked and taste so fresh & juicy, add in some seafood sticks, a scallop with the roe on as its meant to be. Finished the meal with pineapple and banna fritters sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and a chocolate dipping sauce. Service was A+ with the prices very reasonable and got our food quickly then sat down and enjoyed the outdoor eating area.

Their battered fish is light & crunchy! I do feel like the seasoning for the batter/fish could be a lil stronger (personal preference) YESSAHH, the fish is FRESHH!

Its not an ordinary boring chips that is sold at every fish&chips. Theirs taste like wedges, but in chip form! You’ll know what I mean when you try it. lol

Staff are friendly and the food is just mouth watering. My favourite is getting battered fish and chips along with a pineapple fritter. The fish and chips are crunchy and seasoned amazingly!
Delicious grilled bugs, Mackerel was melt in your mouth. Chips were yummy and Calamari was also very good well done all round. Phone ordered and was ready when we arrived great experience.
Excellent fish, they just need to get there pickup times better sorted, last couple of times I have been to pickup it isn't ready on time and have to wait longer. But great seafood takeaway
