Review Attimo Restaurant - Northbridge

Andrew Munro
The food, service and warm atmosphere were so good! The pizza was one of the best we've ever had anywhere, the Gnocchi was perfect and the sides were soo flavoursome (as was the Tiramisu!). But the best part of it all was the beautiful staff (especially Fiona & Virginia) who looked after our orders very smartly and engaged with us during the night. We didn't want to leave - we had such a great time and definitely will be back again - thank you!

Ordered home delivery from this restaurant for the first time and it was all delicious and good sized portions. My daughter who is the lasagne expert says it's the best she has had gorgeous ages. Highly recommend

Frequent dine-in and never disappointed. Very flavoursome mains from selection of fish, steak, veal, pasta or pizza. Also have ordered takeaway and enjoyed them. Favourites are Gamberi, Mediterranean Lamb pizza, John Dory or Siciliana Steak.

Great food, service and vibe...really impressed by the depth of flavour with the sauce in my meals ...like nothing I've had before...mussels and veal are amazing!! Also red wine list was great and the cocktails were made well..definitely will be a regular here.

Underrated italian restaurant, pizzas and pastas are second to none. Service is always friendly. Highly recommended. My favourite pizza is the chilli prawn.

We had a delightful dinner for two with excellent service! Every allowance was made for us and we were looked after so excellently. We had unparalleled, fragrant crab arancini and a fettuccine as an entree and then the flavourful chicken chasseur and an excellently season pumpkin/fetta pizza as a main. The Riesling we drank was light and acidic to cut through the deep flavoured meal, very complimentary. We finished with a baileys chocolate mousse and a trio of gelato which balanced our palettes. Excellent service, all the staff really showed they cared about our experience. Will certainly dine there again.

Had one of the best pizza tonight at Attimo. We had the Attimo Special (prawn, pepperoni, mushroom and pineapple) and Andrea Special (prosciutto, rocket and Parmesan) as well as the marinara linguine. The pizza has a very thin crusty base which is how I like it. Service is impeccable. Highly recommend it.

As always a wonderful meal! An extra special visit with our birthday boy getting to make his own pizza!! Very exciting! They always know how to look after us!

Couldn't fault this place for a true great Italian meal. Reasonable prices, great food and excellent customer service. Takeaway pizzas are also very delicious.  Highly recommend it.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - i ordered the chicken there and it may have been under cooked, there was a part i saw that i cut around and didn't eat but i must have eaten some because I've now got food poisoning!!! Firstly, this place is under new management. I got there and it was baking hot inside and i had to ask them to turn the aircon on. We asked for drinks and they had alcohol and glasses displayed but they had lost their liquor licence. They recon they're getting it back next week and to go to the bottle-o so we did not out of choice. The food portions we're small, they didn't know what their specials were & in the end they ended up charging us corckage even though they're the ones who lost their licence. This place won't survive its really not very good. I had to put my hand up like a school kid for ages to get a waiters attention. They know nothing about customer service - customers always wrong at this place.

Local gem! My partner and I often find ourselves here for a mid week date night. Delicious food, particularly the Gnocci Mozzerella, the Marinara Linguine and the Veal Limone. BYO is a bonus. Great atmosphere. Staff are always lovely -particularly the owner. 5 stars.

So slow. Don't bother ordering from here. <br/>Told 45 min, waited 50 called then told another 20 min. <br/>Took 2 hours for pizza to arrive and it was cold<br/>Crap food

I had probably the best garlic prawns I’ve had in a long time at Attimo, an Italian restaurant in Northbridge. The garlic and chilli infused olive oil was still bubbling when the iron dish was placed in front of me and the balance of flavours was incredible. Many restaurants either have too much oil or not enough garlic, but Attimo’s was the perfect blend of smooth, garlicky, spicy goodness and I ended up mopping up every last drop of the lovely sauce with the provided bread. The prawns themselves were juicy and tender and my only complaint was that there were not enough!
A Foodie's Joy
I have been blogging about my US trip experiences for a few weeks now. I still have a few more US posts to do but I decided to take a small break from talking about New York and instead focus on Sydney. It's a nice change, for me and for my regular readers! After being back a week from my US trip, I recently caught up with some dear friends of mine who happened to have moved to Northbridge recently. They suggested we dine at Cervo. Having never been to Northbridge before (I know!), I was only too happy to check out Cervo. Cervo is an Italian restaurant located right smack in the suburb of Northbridge. I found out later on that Cervo stands for Stag (in Italian). Which accounts for the decor in the restaurant. There was a humongous stag head propped up against the wall of the section we were seated at. The walls had art depicting stags but in an elegant manner. The waiters were very friendly and constantly asking us if all was alright. The restaurant was quite full and had a nice family

Cervo oozes an elegant romantic sophistication the minute you walk through their doors, but it also has an edgier contemporary feel to it at the same time. Its like a collision of two worlds that somehow works to combine so well.

Great for a function. We had a function in the upstairs room for 34 and it was great. Our hosts were patient with our foolery and the food was terrific. Thoroughly recommended.

Rubbish.. I wouldn't serve this pizza to my dog. I was highly unimpressed.

Simply devine. The pasta was flawless, beats most high end restaurants in Sydney hands down.<br/>The pizza again was something out of this world. Personally think it's the best pizza in Sydney!<br/>Finally the is a beautifully set up cool and relaxed environment to be at either during the week or the weekend for a few drinks !<br/>It's definitely my new hang out!

Good pizza but not outstanding. Tonight we ordered some chorizo pizza which was good but I very much doubt it's Spanish chorizo, more likely chorizo flavoured sausage which was disappointing either that or a very poor quality spanish chorizo. Base very yummy and probably the best part, crispy and tasty. I also got a lemon pip in one of my slices, not expected but hey it can happen. I think we expected something a little more gourmet. Don't think we'll order again unfortunately. Dessert ordered a tiramisu, delicious but portion is small considering the price overall, not really good value for money.

Best pizza ever. Crispy and delicious. We've finally found good pizza in lower north shore cooked crispy and that's in last five years! Other food is tasty. Good night out. Family restaurant but nice as ambience for couples as its very tastefully decorated. Not just your standard north shore Italian restaurant. Have been back few times as always reliable. Did not pizza until last night.

Perfect Choice 10/10. Cervo is a fantastic restaurant with it's unique ambience and top quality food. You honestly cannot go wrong with any choice off the menu. Personally my favourites are the lamb pizza and the zucchini pasta dishes. <br/><br/>With award winning service, this restaurant is a perfect place for anyone local or out of the local area to dine and enjoy in the friendly and relaxed yet intimate atmosphere. The owner is lovely and I always feel well looked after whenever I choose to dine at Cervo. <br/><br/>The icing on the cake is that it's Halal friendly (the meat) which in addition to the many vegetarian options on the menu, only poses a problem of which dish to choose!<br/><br/>A perfect find and a lovely addition to the neighbourhood, Cervo is always top notch in quality and service

Excellent - Highly Recommended. Only 3 weeks open, this new fit out adds to the ambience creating an intimate dining experience. I love the dear's head. It looks great. <br/>Our party consisted of 3 ladies and all our meals were fantastic. Well cooked and presented and served promptly. The service was excellent, very attentive which I hope continues as business picks up. <br/>The wine could have been colder. <br/>Really excited to find this little gem so close to home. That being said I would have been equally as happy had I have had to drive 45 minutes to get there.
