Absolutely delicious and obviously made with great skill and care
Quick, fresh and soooo tastey! A great place for vegans and non vegans to grab a delicious meal. I’ve loved the satay skewers, fried rice & duck pho!
Loving Hut Northcote just keeps getting better and better. The food has always been good and the service has always been friendly, but the menu has gotten way more expansive. Most recently, I tried the chicken katsu curry, which is such a treat to be able to eat veganised. I also ate the crispy pork on rice (a bit dry for my liking, but still good). I would have preferred a mock pork to fried bean curd but alas. It features tapioca noodles to mimic the pork fat which is kind of freaky but interesting.
I also tried my friend's Hainan chicken rice which was a special, but hopefully becomes a permanent menu addition. I always enjoy the nasi goreng with vegan egg (!) as well. One last perk about this spot that I just discovered is that they serve coffee well into the night, which is a huge point of attraction for me.
A spacious place with lots of seating and froendly service. Being a vegan place, these was quite a variety of cuisines from thai, vietnamese, Japanese and more. A perfect place for when you're unsure what to eat.
Tofu bites - thin crisp layer dusted with flavoursome herbs, garlic and crush sea salt flakes, the tofu is ever so soft. The homemade tartare sauce was great too but the tofu is great on its own as well.
Big mac bao- it's the real deal, the sauce tastes exactly like big mac sauce and the guo bao is lightly pan fried.
The broken rice was good too. Small bite sizes bbq chicken, a vegan egg and shredded vermacelli. Very flavourful and tasty.
Always a pleasure to dine here. Its not fancy, but it damn delicious food, that even your non vegan friends will enjoy. Highlights include the crispy chicken bao, bun bo hue (my favourite but only for those who can tolerate spice) and the fried tofu puffs. We ordered the lemongrass and pineapple fish this time round which was great mock meat but could have benefited from more of a sauce. Will be back.
Loving Hut never disappoints! This place is probably my favourite vegan joint by far. Everything I’ve had is delicious and tastes super authentic. Staff is friendly and the service is great.
If you love mock meat and asian fusion, you’ll love the Loving Hut!
Can’t recommend the Southern Fried Chicken enough!! A truly meaty experience, without the guilt or cruelty. A great restaurant, doing good things, with tasty dishes to satisfy those cravings!
MM
Popped into Loving Hut for a quick take away treat. Left with a delicious apple slice. I have had the southern fried chicken with rice here a few times and it’s 10/10.
All vegan, large portions and a great selection of desserts.
Fabulous food and the kindest people - but talk about anti-digestive music! Rough and aggressive and loud. Something in tune with Vegan values and harmony, please.
'The' destination for vegans in Melbourne, especially those with vegan-phobic friends. Delicious and affordable food, super lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. Check it out!
I love it! Food is amazing, always very quick and delicious! Staff are such angels 💕💕 I have a very sensitive gluten allergy and have never had any bad experiences here, everything I've ordered as gluten free has been 100% gluten free. (I stay away from the dessert fridge though) My fav restaurant in Melbs !
Eaten here a million times and the food is consistently tasty and filling. Staff are attentive and the menu is reasonably priced. Cannot recommend this place enough, for both vegans and non-vegans.
Not even surprised I don’t have any photos of the food as I always dig in straight away. I can never go past the southern fried chicken and homemade curry. Do yourself a favour and order those next time you go! You’ll thank me later 😆
Great food, consistency, big servings, , friendly and and attentive staff. great prices too. If only it wasn’t so far from home. Can’t get enough of the Mongolian beef!
The place is the best! Don't care if you're not vegan, everything on the menu is for everyone! I've been here about a dozen times, had someing new every time and loved them all. The mock meat is fantastic (not rubbery or tasteless like others) the sauces are delicious and the service has always been quick and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough. And if you have a "it can't taste good unless it's real meat" friend - give them the southern fried chicken, it's better than the real thing! 😀
On a chilly day, I had a cold and wanted some wholesome nourishing food. I ordered the laksa and was delighted. A bowl of absolute fresh goodness. The service was fast and efficient. Lots of space and tables so you can really relax and not feel rushed. I found it quite peaceful and quiet. I'd definately return.
Yum! We had the silken tofu pad Thai and the southern fried chicken and were so happy with our food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The pad Thai was light and lovely - packed and full of fresh veggies, though not the most flavoursome. Alec had the fake chicken and despite being a meat eater he loved it. I tried some and the batter was unbelievable and the taste was spot on. The only fault was the size of the chicken, it would have been better if the pieces were smaller and it was $25 which isn’t cheap! In saying that we absolutely loved the food and feel great after eating here- we’ll be back again 💚
Hell yes! This place is sooo great!
I usually order delivery and have never been disappointed.
Must try: Eggplant Curry don! Its delicious, crunchy and nutritious.
BEST VEGAN FRIED CHICKEN!
We ordered the Sweet n Sour Pork, Fried Chicken on Rice and Tofu Bites. The fried chicken beats any other vegan offering i've tried in Melbourne. Nice and crunchy, big portions and heaps of flavour in the coating. The Pork in the Sweet n Sour was really nice. The sauce is a little spicy for those shy to spicy food but I loved it. The Tofu Bites were really well cooked however I wasn't a big fan of the herb coating only because I would have preferred a spicy asian style flavour instead but that's only a personal preference.
Food definitely worth the pricing, and many different options! Don't like the whole cafeteria style setting and how some food is just sitting out, but for the price the flavors didn't disappoint. It's hit or miss with some of the options, but because there are so many, everyone can find something that they'd like.
Had the katsu curry don with tofu - it was satisfyingly scrumptious.
My friend had the salt and pepper tofu served on crispy rice noodles and a dipping bowl full of sweet chili sauce. "it was nice but eh".
Shared a *small side order of vege.
Loved the spaciousness of the venue of the venue and the lovely staff.
As a non-vegan and also, an ex-vegan as of 5 years ago, I wasn't expecting too much from here but I also appreciate vegan food as I am dairy intolerant. I went to have lunch here with a friend and we tried the Pho and Bambam (deep fried eggplant in some special sauce). Both the Pho and Bambam were excellent. I was especially surprised about the Pho as vegetarian Pho's tend to lack that rich flavour you get with meat broths. However, it was perfectly light and fragrant, with familiar vegetable stock flavours and nice array of fresh vegetables. For what it was, it was a god effort to make vegan Pho taste good. The deep fried eggplant sounded like a winner from the menu and it tasted as we expected, nice crunchy batter, delicious but probably naughty sauce over some crispy noodle things.
We didn't try the cakes at the counter but they look yum.
I have been back a few times as I have vegan friends I usually take there and I've never felt like I'm missing out on a complete meal or that it was ever bland, it's good what they've managed to achieve here. Although there are better vegan restaurants around Melbourne, for Northcote, it's one of the better ones.
My first time to review on Zomato. Loving hut was so good, I just had to! I'm not vegan, but all the food served was outstanding. Definitely going back to explore the rest of the menu. Would've given them a 5 if their decor was nicer, and if they had more fresh fruit drink options.
very nice food, if the food was served to me as meat, i woudnt even notice the difference. had the KFC and my friend had the broken rice. KFC was amazing and the broken rice was not too bad.
I'd liked the Richmond Loving Hut well enough, and the Northcote one didn't disappoint either. In fact, it was even better in my opinion! I had the beef pho while my partner had the homemade curry, and we shared a Southern fried chicken between us. While the curry was a bit watery and underwhelming, the rest was spectacular. Easily one of the best vegetarian/vegan pho I've ever had. The fried chicken was on par with the stuff at Cornish Arms Hotel and came with a lovely dipping sauce and pickled veges which really helped to offset the deep-fried-ness of it all. Anyway, definitely recommend this place and I can't wait for a chance to visit again!
I’d been wanting to try Loving Hut for a while. Tonight was the opportunity on Uber Eats. I’m impressed. The rice paper rolls were lovely. The green vegetable stir fry was great too. The food was as fresh as and full of flavour. This is a sound take out option. I must eat in soon.
You will never be dissapointed with the delicious vast menu selections. Restaurant is big enough for functions, family friendly and has games available for those who are waiting or just want to hang out. Always welcomed by friendly staff, quick service, generous serves and very well priced. Thankyou for the tasty meal! 👌
My Tuesday night staple. Vegan delights. My fave is the Singapore Noodles. The Laksa is epic. I tried the “fish” hot pot and loved it. The pho is legit. Great service. Feel good vibes.
Was recommended this place multiple times. As I am not a vegan was reluctant to go... but very glad that I have. Who knew vegan could be so flavoursome & delicious! The southern fried chicken is great and the vegan cupcakes are gorgeous too. Staff are very polite & friendly too. Highly recommend. Been back many times since.
We're frequent visitors and have never had a negative experience. Staff are great and the meals are very good. My family loves the lemon chicken which has fooled our meat eating relos. My favourites are the home made curry, chili Thai basil rice and the nasi goreng. The steamed mushroom mince rolls are excellent. We always have leftovers to take home. Probably our top family vegan restaurant.
Love this place! Lots of options on the menu. Laksa is personal favourite and you can not go without some tofu bites. Vibe is low key. Usually get takeaway.
You know the feeling when you've been recommended a place so many times and when you finally go you're left disappointed. Well, I promise this place won't disappoint!
Apart from being able to eat everything on the menu (being vegan) the staff were super lovely and the food was pretty amazing!
We had the CFC fried chicken with rice. It came with salad and a sweet chilly mayo which was super delicious! And then the char fried kway teow with beef was NEXT LEVEL! The beef actually tasted like beef!
I'm definitely coming back to this place and I'd urge you to visit if you haven't already 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Being an enthusiastic meat eater, I am honestly quite surprised by the quality of food here. The curry laksa was meh, the bun bo hue was delicious and the volcano chicken was amazing. I definitely more open to coming back. Customer service here was good and very friendly.
Amazing food and even better service. Can't complain at all. ☘️🍀🌴🌱🌿
Food is very reasonably priced and the quality is unbelievable.
Will definitely be a Regular
I love that this restaurant exists. I see mock meat as a humerous curiousity that is fun to eat sometimes. Loving Hut gives the impression with it's lack of meat and hippish name that it's going to be health food, but it's certainly on the oily takeaway variety of meal.
Lovely food, lovely service, really fresh and reasonable prices. I don't mind paying a little extra for healthy food, at least you know what you're eating is good for you. Thanks for assisting when I had trouble walking!
Ethical food done right. Great atmosphere and I left very satisfied. I'm not a vegan, but I enjoyed all of the the dishes I tasted, and my friends seemed to enjoy everything too.
The food is lovely, albeit a little on the more pricier side. Nice atmosphere and the service is good. I enjoy eating here much more than the one in Richmond.
Nice & relatively cheap vegan Asian cuisine! The service here is very good & food always comes out promptly which is always pleasing (especially when you are hungry!) Their mock meats are also the best I’ve ever had! I'd recommend this place to anyone- whether you are vegan, vegetarian or a meat eater)

So I have walked passed this place a million times and have eaten in Restaurent's all round it but for some reason never actually walked in here. Was it the big massive space which makes it look like a uni cafeteria, the heavy sliding door, the fact that it's vegan, not really sure but I have always found this place very popular with locals and very good reviews.
Today I walked in with three of my staff for lunch. I spoke to the chef who recommended 4 dishes.
Chilli basil fried rice: I loved this the best. Very flavourful. The chef added some Thai red chilly to make it spicy. Must try. 5/5
The volcano (fried chicken): This was really different. The sauce was really spicy. 4/5
Japanese Katsu curry don: The chef made this into a main and divided the dish between eggplant and duck. This was deep fried and a bit oily. The duck was nice and tasty. 3.5/5
Pad thai: we got the tofu. 3/5.
The black currant drink was nice. Overall good experience. Costed just over $80 because we ordered for 2 mains in larger portions.
Excited about trying everything else in the menu in the near future:)
Love the concept of Loving Hut, love the all vegan menu and the food always tastes amazing !!
I have been to a few loving huts and generally the decor is a little weird and I found this one to be no different.
the restaurant is in a massive space and there aren't quite enough tables or chairs to fill it out so it gives of a little bit of a weird vibe !
however that aside the food is always amazing, I've never had to wait to long to receive my meal after ordering it and the staff have always been lovely to me !!
Always love this place, affordable vegan food with friendly atmosphere. Extensive and well put together menu. Decor is a bit outdated but the food definitely isn't. I recommend everything on the menu, even the entrees and brilliant. Some of the best rice paper rolls I've ever had.
Friendly service!
The venue has a cosy feel about it, food is yum and service is pretty good
Great value for money
Food - 7
Value - 7
Service - 6
Such amazing food here, the flavours are incredible.
A big variety with the menu, been here a few time and I have never been disappointed.
Such friendly service too and all my meat eating friends and family loved it, when we had my husband's birthday there.
Recommend this place to everyone.
I'm so pleased with this restaurant. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I really enjoyed this food. All the dishes I've tried are delicious and extremely flavorful. I think the prices are great and it's an added bonus that you also feel super energised and nourished by the healthy ingredients. Highly recommended to everyone!
Called to order food, the food was delicious and fresh and full of flavour. I asked for the amount needed for free delivery and was told $35, I spent over $35 then was charged $3 for delivery. It dosn't bother mean, but I don't think you should advertise free delivery if it intact is not free. Will return and recommend! Between loving hut, the bakery a couple of doors down and Black Waffle northcote is becoming a vegan heaven.
Although I am no longer vegan, this restaurant is still one of my favourites. For the price, the chefs are incredibly generous with their serving sizes. I absolutely adore the Vietnamese chicken salad!
So pleasantly surprised by this place. The food is amazing, had the Japanese curry and wow! Will definitely be dining here again. Don't be fooled by the low key decor, the Loving Hut is a vegan gem!
What a great place! I can't belive everything here is vegan! They have pretty much all the vegan things you could want! I tried the bambam which was delicious! I got the mixed one and some rice. I can't wait to come back and try more of the food here!!!
You guys changed my life. Staff are beautiful, food is glorious and the price is so bloody good. For a young family we can't pass up an affordable delicous meal with exceptional service.
wow !! I came here today on a groupon, $40 for a three course meal for two people. Food was AMAZING, probably the best vegan restaurant I have been to. Service was also brilliant, staff were polite and lovely, meals came quickly, prises were reasonable and there was a huge variety of dishes to choose from. The only downside was the interior design of the restaurant, it could do with a few booths, bit more casual etc. Still nice though. Hopefully when they gain popularity it can be an option! Definitely would recommend, I am definitely going to be a monthly customer, despite it being an hours drive from where I live. THANK YOU!
I love loving hut! Always Such friendly service and amazing vegan food. Very reasonably priced and great gluten free options. Singaporean noodles is a favourite of mine with tempeh.
Amazing menu options and very decent prices! Portions were great and the food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. I've already planned what I'm going to eat on my next visit!
Had a vegan dinner here and was suprise all the choice that they have ! Very good and tasty! Had the japanese curry with veggie and it was amazing !! Very good staff as well !
Who knew vegan Vietnamese food would be so delicious?? The Steamed Rice Paper Roll was nice, buy the dipping sauce was a bit bland. The BBH was full of flavour. It was fresh, spicy, sour, sweet and umami. Very well balanced. The Eggplant and Tofu Claypot was nicely prepared, but just needed a touch of garlic and pepper. Overall, everything was yum! Will come back very soon.
Was so impressed with this place. It looks like an ugly cafeteria but the food is outstanding!
Amazing vegan food. The mushroom and tofu claypot was so authentic and flavourful, not spicy. The fake pork in the sweet n sour was excellent, had some nice heat to it, and the fried eggplant with sirracha mayo was crunchy and as delicious as you'd hope, a bit spicy.
The staff are friendly and the serving sizes are generous. Can't wait to return. :)
Volcano Chicken and Sweet n Sour duck.
2 seriously amazing dishes. And they most certainly fill you up.
My wallet was crying at the start. $19 for a dish is a little more than I'm used to pay for takeaway.
But once the food hits your tongue you realise, it's worth it. And once it hits your stomach, you realise you've got more left over than was previously anticipated when you stole an extra piece of chicken from your sister's plate (it's that good).
Do yourself a favour, whether you're vegan or not, give this place a try and don't miss out on their chicken. It'll be worth your while.
Oh my gosh this place is wow! 100% vegan and 100% my favourite dinner restaurant. It has a simple look but don't let that fool you, their food is full of flavour and their service is super friendly.
I have tried quite a lot of the menu. On my most recent visit my sister and I ordered a few things to share, we ordered the laksa, spring rolls and a noodle dish with a mix of tofu/mock chicken. First time trying mock chicken and it's been ages since I've actually had real chicken so I can't remember the taste but I can say the mock chicken is quite tasty!! The chef kindly spilt the laksa in two bowls for us. My go to meals here are always the spring rolls, nasi goreng and the laksa.
The servings are massive and I am always able to take leftovers home for lunch the next day.
This restaurant is also suitable to non vegans as the food is so amazing and versatile that they won't be missing meat.
Extremely friendly and attentive customer service. I love how this restuarant is so unique!! Everything is unique and vegan vietnamese cuisines served here. Tried my first BBH and can say, this place has made me a lover. And i'm a fan of tofu so i love how this is vegan friendly. The icecream is so creamy!! Really loved both flavours; strawberry & vanilla. I can actually taste the coconut. The spring rolls were crispy. It was already sweet with the sweet potato/pumpkin filling so adding sweet chilli sauce was a tad too sweet. Definetly coming. I really did under estimated this place. :)
Love this flippin place!!!! Katsu fried plum duck is my
Go to! The service is always always wonderful and they always play Studio Ghibli films.... What more could you want?
I've been here a couple of times and as a carnivore... I constantly forget this is vegan food! Absolutely delicious and you just can't go passed the prices. This restaurant replaced a small supermarket, and the way it's been decorated makes it feel like a cafeteria, otherwise no complaints - fantastically tasty food!
I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad dish here. As a regular, I love this place! okay, so does every single one of my friends, even the non-vegan ones. Full of flavour, great prices, quick service oh and friendly service!! Please don't ever change.
If you visit, the Salt and Pepper Tofu as a main, is a must. My favourites are the Curry Laksa and the Nasi Goreng.
Great variety of different vegan/vegetarian food and the staff are friendly and attentive. I really enjoy having the laksa. I have had a great experience both in the restaurant and ordering online.
Who knew there would be so much variety. Shared a lot of dishes amongst friends. Was happy with the flavours! Lovely, fast friendly service.
my go to restaurant where i know i was receive delicious vegan food at a great price with wonderful service. always a great selections of specials available as well as the menu. always a pleasure visiting here and always leave feeling very satisfied! highly recommend.
My favourite easy place to eat out in Melbourne. Food is healthy, fresh and absolutely delicious. Staff are awesome. Good value. Will never get sick of it. Love you guys!
The food here is really delicious. As much as I like evil fat, salt, and sugar (don't we all), I love vegetables too, and here they incorporate generous amounts of super fresh ones into their dishes. This place was previously a supermarket (and you can tell) but I think that actually gives it an interesting ambience.
I can't believe it's taken me this long to actually eat here. It was so good! I blame the not so nice looking interior for my never coming in but it was a lot nicer once you got inside. I took my vegetarian friend out for dinner and we were both delighted at the massive menu. We had the mushroom rice wraps to start and they were absolutely divine! We then had the Singapore noodles which was also delicious, a bit spicy but still yummy. I will be coming back again and again. AND... THEY DELIVER! yessss!
Really great food, especially for vegans/vegetarians who aren't used to having so many options! However, the interior decor leaves a lot to be desired. The fact that the building used to be a supermarket is very obvious and leads to quite a stark and bland environment. The food is good enough to keep me coming back in spite of this though!
Love this place so much. The laksa is my fave and the sweet potato spring rolls. Cannot fault, even down to their music/tv selection.
Super chilled out and lots of options to choose from
Don't be put off by the cult rumours, weird sliding door entry and tacky interior decor, this is the best asian dining in Northcote vego, vegan or otherwise. Excellent quality food, very friendly staff, everything I've tried on the menu is delicious but particularly recommend the steamed rolls with mushroom mince, the salt and pepper tofu and the mushroom stir fry. MSG free and non oily - tasty, fast, healthy go-to option.
Behind the sect-like glowing signage, yellow walls, plastic bamboo, and tv screen illuminating Batman cartoons (on mute thankfully), Northcote Loving Hut is a damn good place for a consistently delicious meal, and it's huge interior makes it an easy choice for last minute dining if you have a big group to feed.
favourite restaurant EVER. even my non vegan friends really love this place. So far I've not had anything I haven't liked there. The faux meats are very realistic. witchcraft. hahah
What a lovely experience for a Vegan on L Plates. The attention paid to the appearance, texture and taste of the food was outstanding ! The service was quick and friendly, and the price ? Fantastic! I wish there were more restaurants like this around in every town, especially down in South Gippsland where I live. It was an amazing treat to eat prawns, sizzling roast duck and southern fried chicken (and all faux) although I could swear that was exactly what I was eating, and the deserts, fresh and rewarding. I am so glad my son brought us here for lunch.
Love Loving Hut, one of my favourite vegan restaurants! They have a great variety of food, you wouldn't even know it's vegan! They have a lot of vegan meat, egg and 'fake' food, that imitates non-vegan food. But I wish they had more fresh and 'clean' food, which isn't as processed. Everything tastes great though and they have gluten free options. Love their Vietnamese fried rice and pineapple fritter with ice cream. Really good prices, could do with a bit of renovation or fix up though as the atmosphere isn't that great. Overall a great restaurant!
This place is fantastic, so many vegetarian/vegan options you'll be spoilt for choice. Delicious food and at a reasonable price. Certainly a place I'll keep coming back to. I recommend everyone give this place a try. You won't be sorry, something for everyone vegans, vegetarian and non vegetarian alike will enjoy it.
Large portions.
Large open restaurant, very fresh and airy.
Sparse decor, unlike the dishes, which are packed full of scrumptious flavours. All hail mung bean! the BAMBAM dish was an on trend mix of battered shrimp and tofu with sriracha mayo. too cool for school. too cool for Northcote. Not many Asians inside though, so I'd have to question it's authenticity.
Someone recommended Loving Hut to me and I wasn't sure about the place because of the decor, but I'm so glad we tried it. This is possibly the best veg/vegan food in Melbourne. My non-veg partner and I shared the takeaway: (all vegan) Southern Fried Chicken, mushroom mince rice balls, spring rolls, sushi, curry laksa and lemongrass soup. He said: if all vegan food was like this I'd have no problem being vegan. Honestly, everything was just delicious! I ate until I could barely move it was that good. I can't wait to finish our leftovers today and hopefully go back soon to try every other dish.
Oh, the cakes are great too!
You wouldn't know it was vegan, I swear. My friend eats here at least twice a week (usually the Vietnamese rolls with three kinds of "pork"). I tried a roll and the cold spring rolls with "beef". Loved the pesto style dipping sauce. For vegan dining open around the clock, this is a great option. Super cheap as well, which makes me like the establishment even more for not jacking up prices just because it's trendy and healthy. Cafeteria style space, but with all the offices around, it kinda suits.
Love it here! Such a cool, chilled out atmosphere and really good food! Quite large servings, last time I was there I got the Crispy Noodle Stir Fry + extra rice. Stir fry was delicious! Quite a large serving too! Their servings of rice could be a bit larger (I love rice), but apart from that it was a great feed!
Delicious!. Ordered the eggplant and tofu claypot and the rainbow salad for lunch today.
Sooo damn tasty, best salad dressing I've had, and the tofu and eggplant were soo good my plate looked very clean when I was done with it!
Although a little on the pricey side (13 bucks for a bowl of vego Phó) the taste and service definitely made up for that. Really authentic flavours and a really extensive menu. Will definitely be back!
Loving Hut is one of those places that you try once and want to go back to again and again. It may not be that flashy looking but the customer service and food make up for the setting and decor.
I was dragged there by a vegan friend reluctantly (I’m a carnivore so this place wouldn’t have crossed my mind) but after my first time dining there I begged my friend to take me back, that week. I too have started recommending it to people who live on a diet of meat and so far I haven’t had one person give it a thumbs down. If anything they want more.
Rice Paper Roll With Crispy Prawn. Love it. The sauce was amazing
Impressive vegan cuisine. Loving Hut has delicious vegan food, ranging from fresh salads to creative and (I'm told) convincing mock meat dishes. I've been several times and every dish has been great - the Southern Fried 'Chicken' is amazing and the coconut milk based icecream is also a favourite. The staff are friendly and attentive and the ambience is pleasant. I look forward to sampling more of the huge menu soon!
Good god how do they do it? Love it!. The food here is lovely! It even looks lovely on the plate. Fresh, green and colourful, vegan! Lots of snazzy salad, perfect summer food. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Favourite, please never leave!. Although associated with the culty 'be vegan, make peace' supreme master followers, I would happily support them... the food is too tempting.
We keep coming back for more. I have been veg for 8 years now, and nothing at all has really topped this place - there are a few of similar quality (enlightened cuisine, gong de lin, the cornish arms) but nothing that really matches these guys on price or friendliness.
fave dishes include the katsu duck in plum sauce, and of course the southern fried chicken (my boyfriend eats meat and still says its way better than kfc). We are definitely gunning for the pho and laksa (my favourite dish anywhere of all time), the well priced viet rolls, and of course to try everything else out. The bakery area is good too, I think they stock from the vegan bakery owned also by supreme master further down in high street preston.
Again, this is now one of our favourite places to go, great for sharing and a great experience for everyone.
You've gotta give it a try, even if you're not vegan!. Enjoyed lunch here with my daughter who is vegan and the food was just fabulous. We had the steamed rice rolls with mushroom mince and the lemongrass 'chicken" with rice noodles, both dishes were really delicious. The service was also very fast and friendly. Will definitely take our other meat eating family members there to try Loving Hut's super tasty food.
Nom nom nom. Tasty, fresh, big portions, inexpensive, decor nice, great location-I only have positive things to say! Evey time I eat here I leave full and happy. My non vego/vegan friends love it too. Win/win for everyone! Can't wait to go back
