As soon as we walked in we were greeted so warmly by the staff. Food was very enjoyable, flavoursome and servings were very generous (to my dismay I could not finish my scrambled eggs and iced chocolate)!
Even though I became lightheaded and we had to leave in a hurry the staff was once again so friendly. Will be back! :)
Visited for the first time and definitely did not disappoint! I ordered the porridge which was delicious and a decent size that I couldn’t even finish it even tho I wanted too.

The pancake is really nice n fluffy. Love the candiced bacon, it's crispy yet not burned, not a lot of cafes I have been to can execute it well! Love the flavour combo and the added crunchiness from the walnut too.
The bake egg is also nice, the olives go well with the dish. We visited on a Saturday morning, I was surprised the place wasn't full, but the flavour is definitely on point! Love to visit again for the pancake!

FOOD: I’ve always wanted to try Larks of Joy’s pancakes but before this they only had Red Velvet pancakes but I have to admit, these Breakfast Pancakes are definitely more up my alley! 🌚 I was extremely lucky and elated to know that when I went, their ice cream was one of my FAVOURITE things in the world - Peanut Butter Cup. I CANNOT rave about this ice cream enough. It has been maybe a year or more that I haven’t had that flavour of ice cream and having my favourite ice cream flavour on top of my favourite breakfast item just made for one of my favourite things I’ve had in Melbourne so far. Larks of Joy really do not skimp and make it bang for your buck! The ice cream was LOADED with peanut butter cups and super duper creamy, it was super decadent and they were so generous with their bacon as well! They were big cuts and I couldn’t even finish it! But it was one of the best cooked bacon I’ve ever had, it was super duper crispy which went phenomenally with the soft and fluffy pancakes. All the flavours went together magically and it was truly a well worth (of calories and cash) dish. I truly loved and enjoyed this dish to the very last bite.
COFFEE: Their coffee was roasted really well and super nutty and together with the soy milk! I loved it!
SERVICE: The service is absolutely fantastic! The minute I walked in, I was served with a smile and till the very end they made me feel super welcomed and they were just such a friendly and jolly crew that really brightens any day!
Overall, I really loved Larks of Joy and am beyond glad I decided to make a trip and its as if they knew that this peanut butter crazed girl was here and had the PB Cup Ice Cream 🤣 I cannot recommend the Breakfast Pancakes enough and their service definitely is a super duper big win! Thank you so much ❤️
I was so impressed with everything about Larks of Joy! The menu had a great range of dishes, from the classic smashed avo to a delicious mushroom udon noodle dish. I ordered the roasted vegetable dish, which came with a VERY generous serving of halloumi. Major brownie points for that! The coffee was some of the best I’ve ever had and everyone on my table ordered a second round. The service was also great - super attentive and friendly staff. I can’t wait to visit again!

Really enjoyed our brunch at Larks of Joy. We had the rendang beef roti , baked eggs and chilli scrambled eggs. The rendang was a nice surprised, it is a little spicy and really delicious like one of those you can get from an authentic malaysian restaurants. Both egg dishes were also amazing, the chorizo was grilled really well.

As we all know, Northcote is a hub for trendy cafes and eateries. Larks of Joy is no exception to this. With stunning decor and a framed picture of a pug on the wall, what’s not to like?
We ate the breakfast pancakes - pancakes and bacon... well obviously I’m happy! They were a little dry but all in all, not bad!
We also ate the peanut power bowl which was divine. It was basically an acai bowl but with a whole heap of peanut butter. Happiness in a bowl, really!

You’ll find the usual suspects like smashed avo, pancakes and baked eggs but every dish is guaranteed to surprise with curious added ingredients and creative plating.
The menu is ripe with vegan and gluten free options like the spiced apple porridge, house-made broad bean falafel, mushroom trio with udon, chargrilled BBQ tofu burger and Insta-worthy smoothie bowls. The vegan French toast is also a must-try: almond-milk soaked vegan brioche with seasonal berries, maple syrup and vegan hazelnut ice cream. Sweet dreams are made of this.
Larks’ minimal interiors are everything you’d expect from Northcote. White, mint and timber facades envisioned by Fretard Design stage the archetypal Melburnian café scene. It’s fresh, simple and easy like Sunday morning.
The breakfast/brunch here is colourful and even more tasteful! The ambience is amazing and their cold drip setup is a spectacle! Definitely recommend Larks of Joy to lovers of great Melbourne coffee and good food. Melbourne. Food approves!
The most important meal of the day is breakfast right? But I skip it.. until I discovered Larks of Joy. My partner had a baked egg dish and I had avo on toast with poached eggs. Fek. I legit went home and tried replicating both dishes for breakfast the next day and failed miserably , so needless to say returned the following for our same meals. Definitely would rate higher if I could. Fresh ingredients, everything seasoned to perfection and generous portions. The staff are super friendly too and the place has a really comforting/relaxing atmosphere.
I had the pleasure of going here for lunch today! Immediately I was greeted by bubbly and warm staff who were very attentive. The light and modern interior was easy on the eyes and added to the sophisticated nature of this cafe
I chose to have the smash with poached eggs. Being gluten free I was pleasantly surprised when the dish came out as the toast was thick and perfectly toasted. Thick, tasty GF toast is hard to find! The pomegranate was a nice touch, adding a pop of sweetness to the savoury dish. A must have dish.
Accompanying this I had a batch brew. Although I prefer it to be served in a mug to retain warmth. The coffee it’s self was smooth and pleasant to drink.
My friends also enjoyed their meals and praised the chef. They had the baked eggs and the halloumi roll.

A decent cafe. I tried Beef Cheek and Beef Burger here. The Beef Cheek was particularly tasteful. The staff were super polite and friendly. Enjoyed the brunch in this cafe.

Parking on the street is 1P up to 12:30pm on a Saturday with tram route 86 running along the street for anyone wanting to public transport to the venue. We arrived at 11:45am and the venue was relatively calm until about 1pm when it started to get busy with the lunch time crowd.
I had such an incredible experience at Larks of Joy and I definitely will be returning. The layout is beautiful inside with lots of table options and an open kitchen so you can watch your food being made while you wait! We ordered the Corn & Zucchini Fritters, Red Velvet Pancakes and the Beef Burger. The Corn & Zucchini Fritters were sitting in a delicious sauce with avocado mouse and two poached eggs that were cooked perfectly. The Red Velvet Pancakes were not only presented beautifully but they were also sweet and full of flavour. The strawberry syrup drizzled over the top was such a delicious element and really brought the whole dish together. Finally, the Beef Burger is perfect for the BBQ lover with the smokey bacon and sriracha aioli providing a powerful and delicious twist from a regular beef burger. The staff were lovely and attentive which really topped off the experience.

We were invited to Larks of Joy today a lovely cafe that boasted classic and minimalist interiors and a really gorgeous on trend fit out with beautiful granite tabletops. I loved the open kitchen too.
I ordered the smashed avo with a side of cured salmon and thoroughly appreciated that unlike many smashed avo dishes this one I could actually cut through with ease and the pops of pomegranate, feta, pepitas and cherry tomatoes gave it both crunch and sweetness.
I also tried the tropical panna cottage which was beautifully plated and still managed to have a perfect wobble despite being vegan. I loved the mango sorbet on this dish too.
My partner ordered the chilli scrambled eggs as a vegetarian (sans chorizo). They are more then happy to accomodate these menu alterations which is great and he swapped it for avocado. Seriously stunning presentation once more. The dish had an Asian fusion concept going with an XO flavour in the dish. Chilli scramble is my partners go to order and he deemed this one very impressive. An all round joyful brunch

It was so lovely to be invited to check out STN on the weekend, there is no shortage of delicious cafes in Northcote of late and this relatively new alternative firmly cements itself as a welcome addition.The cafe owners are seasoned professionals with WB in Glen Waverley under their belt and with the chef being ex Naughty Boy I knew we were in for a treat.
With all intentions of being healthy I ordered a turmeric latte and a green smoothie bowl. I then casually enquired as to what a ‘peanutella’ was and was told it’s a peanut Nutella hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow. That there was the moment the diet went out the window. I enthusiastically devoured the deliciously indulgent creation while my poor turmeric latte was left abandoned. As tasty as the latte was, nothing can compete with chocolatey decadent Nutella.
Given I was now embracing the gluttonous life I ordered the chai brioche with peanut butter parfait. I’m not usually a brioche girl but this sounded very intriguing with the combination of mandarin, chocolate and star anise and was a visual feast when it came to the table. Great textures too with the soft pear against the crispy brioche and a lovely balance of flavours. I’m all about chai at the moment and this dish was a winner.
The green smoothie bowl was definitely the best looking kale smoothie I’ve seen. Ever. Topped with candied quinoa and lots of fresh fruit it’s a visual delight and tasted so amazing you’d almost forget it was super healthy. Definitely a good summery option.
We couldn’t go away without a takeaway salted caramel donut as their bakery items are supplied by the delicious Cobb Lane. Brownies and other treats looked very tempting in the window too.
If you are one of the oh so many Aussie who have done a stint living in London you will love this cafe which was inspired by the owners’ time working in the UK. And best of all the good news is if you aren’t a Northcote local they are expanding the empire later this year to the West side with a branch in Braybook, with the intention of even more to come. Get excited

This is a beautifully spacious cafe in Northcote. The staff are lovely and make absolutely wonderful coffee. The interior is beautiful and has plenty of seating with bing windows at the entrance. I ordered the soba noodles with satay tofu which was absolutely amazing and super fresh! We also ordered the hotcakes which not only looked incredible but also tasted amazing, paired with the pana cotta we had quite the brunch spread! We will be visiting again definitely!

It is near the Northcote shopping plaza on High Street.
They use Axil Coffee and beautiful fresh aroma. Tasted and looked perfect.
Ordered Poke bowl with salmon and spicy scrambled egg. Fresh salmon pieces were cut nicely thick. It was the best size of pieces that I missed for years! I would definitely order it many times in the future.
After seeing the red velvet pancakes on social media I just had to come and taste them for myself and boy and I glad I did. So soft and fluffy, they literally are melt in your mouth. Such a cool place, the fitout is wonderful, the staff are knowledgeable and the food is AMAZING!!! Highly Recommend!

What a lovely dining experience we enjoyed this morning at Larks of Joy. Such a gorgeous interior with comfortable seating, plenty of natural lighting and some seriously good coffee. I loved the natural Poke Bowl with Soba Noodles, honest and good food full of flavour. The Tropicql Panna Cotta took me to an island paradise and made me forget about the Melbourne weather while the Smashed Avo completed me. I loved the feta, so much feta and the pomegranates were a nice touch. One to try the next time you are searching for a brunch place.

Larks of Joy, centrally located on High Street Northcote really does evoke joy to this diner. The cafe, formerly Northcote Station has had a beautiful revamp, and the soft sage green and white tones are cool and comforting. This is a large space with plenty of tables, a gorgeous front marble communal table and plenty of fresh greenery. A welcoming space indeed. We chose to sit at the communal table and started with some fab coffees while we perused the vast menu.
This menu is exciting and I could come here every day for a week and still not try everything. There is an Asian twist to brunch staples, and deciding on our dishes was extremely difficult. The scrambled eggs with homemade XO sauce was sensational, and the sides of chorizo and avocado were perfect accompaniments to the creamy, spicy eggs. This was an extremely generous serve, just the right amount of heat and spice and the perfect dish to get the taste buds zinging. I could easily eat this every day.
We decided to finish with the very photogenic Tropical panacotta. A vegan lychee and coconut panacotta topped with passionfruit, and served with granola, fresh fruits and the cutest stack of pikelets topped with mango sorbet. This dish seriously upped the wow factor. Not just visually stunning, this panacotta was perfectly balanced against the tangy passionfruit and mango, the crunch of the granola, and the perfectly creamy panacotta itself. It was such a refreshing dish after the richness of the scrambled eggs. Light and tasty, we were very happy with our choice, and Larks of Joy are onto a winner with this one.
We also had two smoothies, which were huge, creamy and delicious. There are several smoothie bowls on the menu and I imagine they would be just as yummy as these two glasses of goodness.
Alongside great work coming from the kitchen was an equally fabulous front of house team, who were super friendly and helpful. This made us feel comfortable and at home at this fabulous new cafe, and eager to return to try more of that epic menu.
I was so excited to visit Larks of Joy & for good reasons!! I absolutely fell in love with their amazing smoothie and beautifully scented dishes!

Larks of Joy are famous for their Red Velvet Pancakes and I can tell why! These bad boys were AMAZING!!! If it was anything I would revisit a venue for, it is these Pancakes! Sooooo good! A must add to your to-do list ASAP!

Larks of Joy will leave you jumping for joy after trying some of their food. There wasn't really much I could fault them on while I was here. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. The red velvet pancakes were a personal favourite of mine.

Great ambience, really friendly staff with quick service. Multiple options for vegans/ vegetarians. I loved my poke bowl, and the satay tofu had a delicious flavour. My husband had the falafel bowl and liked it. We both found the dishes quite wholesome and filling.
The rebranding to definitely didn’t change anything about the incredible quality of food they’re serving up! I don’t know why I’m surprised that the red velvet pancakes were the clear winner in this meal! The red velvet flavour we love so much cake through in spades! Loving the new fit out, and will 100% be back again!
We came especially to try the panna cotta and it did not disappoint. Usually the texture of vegan panna cotta isn't quite right but this one is SO creamy and the flavours all go together so well. It's called "Tropical" on the menu and we felt like we were in Bali while eating it!! We especially loved the mango sorbet, it was so refreshing!
The Smashed Avo was also a knockout, generous portion and the poached eggs had runny yolks. Really loved the new renovation and the new dishes on the menu. Would say this is a must-try café in Northcote, for sure!
This place has an inviting, bright, modern atmosphere and good coffee! The almond croissants are also quite nice although you can taste the fake almond essence in the filling! Would definitely return though to get their eat in menu
One of my favourite brunch spots in Melbourne!! The food is simply delicious! The Chickpea Cassoulet and the falafel are my two favourites and should definitely be given a go. Recently had the smoothie bowl and fritters which were also both lovely. Great vegan and veggie options, awesome coffee and friendly service!
Currently obsessed with poke bowls after making them at a food tour - so simple and so flavourful. Couldn’t go past the poke bowl at Northcote STN even though a few items sounded rather delicious on the menu. Highlights: good ☕️! Haven’t tried soba with poke before so it was a nice touch, the cabbage was nicely ‘brined’. Lowlights: the salmon didn’t taste super fresh.
Very good food! The coffee is a little bit watery though. But we will definitely come back for the yummy brunch, we ordered a beef burger and chili scramble eggs :D
My partner and I were looking for a new place to enjoy a nice breakfast we came across Northcote station, and decided to give it a try.
Upon walking in the simple was quite simple and refreshing, we were greeted with menus and water immediately and ordered our soy lattes.
We then proceeded to order a smoothie bowl the smashed avocado.
We couldn’t fault the coffee, great coffee to milk ratio and served at the perfect temperature and meals were also delicious and presented well.
Will definitely return again, great addition to High Street.
The perks of finishing school early… take advantage of trying out a cafe that you want to tick off the list! A few months ago I ate lunch with a couple of friends at the Northcote STN branch and I knew as soon as I walked in, I knew that this would not be my last time here. The vibe itself was so chill and there were so many different options to choose from on the menu. But since I couldn’t decide, I went for their Poke Bowl and I loved it! The bowl looked so daunting and I honestly thought that I wasn’t going to finish it because of the Salmon, Soba Noodles and Avocado. It was so refreshing and tasty… definitely going back for their Acai Berry Panna Cotta and Red Velvet Pancakes that’s for sure!

Absolutely delicious chili scrambled eggs with a bit of avo and corn salsa on the side. The pickled cabbage was sweet and had crunchy elements to it. My daughter had fried eggs with sides of mushroom ( very tasty ) and home made hash brown. Cappuccino and hot chocolate were perfect. This place deserves all the high scores and accolades. Definitely highly recommend this place and am looking forward to a return visit.
An outstanding breakfast experience. I came here on a Sunday morning for brunch and ordered the Red Velvet Pancakes and a Café Latte. The pancakes were spectacular: sweet, fluffy and presented with skill and care. The flavours were amazing and a definite must-try if you’re craving something sweet. Coffee was high quality and served at perfect drinking temperature.
Staff here were friendly and attentive and the prices are entirely reasonable for the quality and experience.
I recommend making a booking if visiting during peak weekend times. I’ll be coming back.
Brilliant!! A creative, tasty and generous menu with a divine drinks selection to supplement. The dishes with an Asian spin were just great and fresh. The lattes were all done well (matcha/peanutnutella - you name it!). Service was also wonderful. Great job!
Great place for brunch with the family! Staff is very accomodating towards children. The chilli scramble here is one of my favourites and the serving sizes are huge! I can never finish my meal. Will be back soon!

Today I had a falafel pide w some hand cut chips.
There are some good seating options such as stools on a large table, a big long bench seat or tables for 2. It's the little things that make a difference, especially when dining alone.
Good quality ingredients make a difference. The pies bread was really fresh, as was the salad and the falafel was delicious.
The side of hand cut chips were amazing, it's such a pity other places stopped doing this.
This was a solid experience.

Absolutely amazing! We’ve been here twice now thanks to groupon deals & both times we loved the food, the service & the coffee.
They were really nice in altering the dish for my wife who’s pregnant & gluten intolerant. She had beef cheek & I had the falafel this time. I also tried their peanutella (great treat option).
The serving size was perfect for a filling brunch & more importantly it tastes great. I’d happily pay full price for this.

Northcote STN is a cute cafe in Northcote, the decor and ambience of the space is beautiful with ample seating.
The coffee was a bit watery, not the best. However all of the food was pretty good!
The Fritters were by far my favourite, they were well made and accompanied with two perfectly poached eggs, salad and avocado mousse.
The Red Velvet pancakes were wonderfully presented, however I felt as though the dish could have used more of the cream cheese or more ‘sauce’ of some kind whether it be a bit of ice cream or cream. It was a little dry, but the fruits were very fresh.
My other friend ordered off the menu, it was a kind of falafel roll that was also reallly yum and flavoursome and the chips were delicious.
Overall, I would say it was a positive experience. The coffee and the pancakes could use some work but there are some real winners on the menu so order wisely!
What a lovely brunch place! Was scrolling through the reviews prior to my visit to STN and was excited to try out this fairly new brunch spot in Northcote with high expectation. I was absolutely pleased with the service and the food they have served there.
The food was served in big portions, decent presentations and they were made with fresh ingredients. Also, although we went there with a Groupon voucher which saved us heaps of $$$, but it felt like we had a posh experience there that was totally value-for-money.
The waiters who served us were friendly and patient, even with my squad's request to have some photos taken.

I ordered matcha and hubby wanted latte and both of our drinks were gorgeous! Smooth, and had good consistency.
For our meal, we had poke bowl with cured salmon and soba noodle, and wagyu beef burger.
The burger was delicious. The beef cooked perfectly and the accompany chips and mayo were a match made in heaven. Poke bowl wasn't my choice for today, even though everything on the plate worked beautifully together, but it just wasn't my thing.
I might come back to try their pancake.

A good breakfast sets the right tone for the entire day....thats what this cafè did for me... We ordered chilly scramble and smashed avo.. both the dishes were really good and were different from your standard recipes... the inclusion of feta in the smashed avo was refreshing.... the best thing was that they added a separate layer of smashed avo for each toast which is not common.. its a small thing but shows care... coffee was decent too.. wanted to rate 4.5..
Went today for a late lunch as part of a Groupon voucher. I ordered the beef checks and my partner ordered the XO scramble. The food was amazing so beautifully presented and the flavors so yum! We were surprised that the dishes actually looked the same as the other posts on here. Only little downside was our coffees were luke warm. Service was friendly and was awesome as they also give you a choice of still or sparkling water for the table. We would happily come back and pay full price. Thanks guys keep up the good food!

Having just flew back from overseas I was desperate for some good food and coffee to help with jet lag. This is where my trusty Zomato comes in and surely did not disappoint.
The atmosphere was great and I have to say the food was fantastic also. The 5 star and I usually don’t have 5 Star was mainly due to the waiter we had. He was absolutely excellent with his service and recommendations.
We went for their two most popular dishes: chilli scramble and also the slow cooked beef cheeks, finished with their famous red velvet pancake. Presentation was great also.
The dishes were great with the beef cheeks cooked well and tender and prob my favourite main. Their red velvet pancake was excellent for a sweet tooth like me and really hit the spot. All the dishes were quite substantial and we were extremely full afterwards.
Highly recommend the place as this is a place where the staff really passionate about their food, excellent service and reasonably priced.

A local favourite! It's rare to find a cafe that does excellent coffee and interesting and delicious food. The staff are always so friendly and attentive. Had an amazing long black and the broadbean falafel, healthy and so tasty.
Recently went again had needed to change my meal to be dairy free, which they did with no problem and the chilli scramble was very generous and well balanced. I have shared this place with all my friends and family, and they love it too :)
Northcote STN a popular local cafe that's perfect for a brunch visit. With plenty of seating inside and out, it can cater to groups of all sizes. Their menu covers all the usual brunch suspects while adding a twist here and there. Coffees are great and worth trying out!. Would recommend!. Creamy and smooth with a nice sweetness from the soy

Came with a Groupon for 4 people and would 110% recommend! The food is very high standard and visually stunning! Would come back and pay full price for everything.
The burger was very flavoursome, the house cured salmon in the poke bowl had very fresh salmon and orange flavour and the beef cheeks were tender and perfectly paired with crunchy rosemary hash!
We came in a group of 3 so we ordered 3 mains and a dessert to share and the red velvet pancakes was a divine finish to the meal! The raspberries and strawberries were ripe and fresh (which sounds basic but often times at cafes with low turnover the berries are either mushy or under-ripe and sour). The little meringues were crunchy on the outside but slightly chewy in the middle and just delicious! We would have like a little more of the white chocolate soil as there wasn’t enough to really create the “soil” effect or taste it. The syrup and jam with the pancakes was so fragrant (we could smell the fruitiness) and delicious!
The wait for the meals was about 30mins but we were very forgiving seeing as it was a Saturday. We were grateful they accepted Groupons on Saturday and we had a great brunch! 😇

We have been visiting STN every opportunity we can on the weekend! To die for Coffee and delicious food! So glad we discovered this hidden gem!! If this had a 6 star option we could give them 7 :)
Northcote Stn is one of my favourite cafes located north of the CBD.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, we were seated straight away and given a choice between still and sparkling water on tap. On this most recent visit we used a groupon voucher. Normally the voucher only allows for coffee however they were generous enough to allow us to pick other drinks from the menu.
I ordered the corn, zucchini and jalapeño fritters along with the peanutella to drink. If you love peanut butter and Nutella as much as I do then do yourself a favour and order the peanutella, it’s amazing!
My sister ordered the coconut & mango chia pudding and a large matcha latte. Normally matcha lattes only come in one size so we were very surprised and happy that they offer this.
We were both pleased with our food, both dishes came out beautifully presented and were delicious.
Overall I had a lovely experience and will definitely be back. I rate Northcote Stn 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5 and I recommend that you check them out.
Place was pumping. Very busy. Very loud, but not the intrusive annoying loud. Staff were fantastic, super warm and friendly. Food was amazing.
Peanutella is a Nutella based hot drink that is not very sweet contrary to what the name may suggest. It has a hint of peanut flavour that is further enhanced by crumbs of peanuts sprinkled over the top. Very enjoyable!
Slow cook beef cheeks and rosemary hash is a very good match! The crispy exterior of the hash provides texture to compliment the soft beef cheeks. I would recommend this dish!
So glad to find this gem and glad to know there’s another STN at Braybrook as well. Customer service, coffee and food is top notch. Would recommend to anyone to definiteellyyy try this place out.

Northcote STN is locates I’m busy High Street in Northcote. It is serving up some delicious food. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. This is another must try in Northcote!
What you notice first about Northcote STN is the bright, light welcoming atmosphere. Really love this fitout. The menu is big and has something for everyone.
We started off with smoothies and let me say the Snickers smoothie is a must! The combo of Choc banana is unbeatable!
We then shared the corn and jalapeño fritters and the smashed avo. The fritters had a kick but it didn’t set your mouth on fire (which is a good thing obviously). Served with two poached eggs, cherry tomatoes and a green side salad it was filling and yum.
The smashed avo was a little different than usual, the herbs added a different flavour and it was served on pita bread not toast, which I really liked.
The true standout though were those Red Velvet Pancakes! Oh my! Two pancakes topped with mascarpone, served with fresh fruit, freeze dried fruit, coconut meringue, and chocolate soil. Yummm!
The coffee was strong which is what I like!

Cute place to have all day breakfast. Ordered the smashed avocado and slow cooked beef cheeks. The beef cheeks were juicy and was balanced out with the addition of spiced cabbage and apple slaw. Their rosemary hash was too salty, and there were salt granule residue within the hash. Besides that the overall dish tasted delicious.
The food and interior at Northcote stn is absolutely stunning. The staff are a delight and their prices are spot on. Definitely couldn't recommend enough and will be back

The food was absolutely delicious and portions were generous, definitely one of the best brunches I've had in a while. I had the fritters (sauce had a well welcomed kick) and the other half had the chai brioche - that chai cream was to die for! My soy coffee was great, the long mach was ok.
Came here on a Groupon deal not sure what to expect, and left with a desire to come back soon.
Give the place a go, you won't be disappointed.
STN was airy & bright. Beautiful Axil coffee & lovely attentive & friendly service. I enjoyed the beef cheeks on rosemary hash. The hash was amazing & the salad flavours of apple & coriander were an interesting tangy flavour to break up the meat. I've tasted better more flavorsome Chilli scrambles (e.g.from three bags full), but it was filling & my partner still enjoyed it. Nice sourdough toast. Lovely selection of pastries. I would come back again to try other items & I recommend it, as it seems the chefs here know what they are doing.

Amazing food and lovely staff! We have been there today with a Groupon voucher expecting nice lunch and breakfast but not as yummy as it was!! We ordered Housemade XO chilli scramble and Slow cook beef cheeks and what a surprise!! It tastes even better than it looks. We will be back for sure!
Great place to have your Sunday brunch, the food was amazing, everything on the dish was fresh and all the flavours well balanced. Plates were beautifully designed too. Coffee was also nice but better than normal coffee was Turmeric latte and Peanutella drink, a must try if you like peanut butter taste.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming even on a very busy Sunday morning.
Nice, bright modern decor has given the whole experience a good vibe as well.
Overall very happy and will definitely be back.

The layout is nice, service is friendly and efficient and the coffee is good. Food was good but a little on the pricey side. We the slow cooked cooked beef which was yum. Also had eggs and toast but the toast was a little burnt which really is not good enough for the price. Have returned a few times for coffee though
Been there twice now and the food and coffee is always really fresh and delicious! Service is friendly and proficient.
Just some feedback though... 1. Please state Vietnamese mint in the ingredients list of the thai beef salad ("mint" isn't the same thing), and 2. the seating outside is super uncomfortable. The seats are really small and because they are on an uneven surface, you can't fully relax or be comfortable, and because they're metal, your sit bones ache! We always have our dog with us so it will restrict our visits there sadly... Please change them so we can come back?? 😊
The interior design here is so nice, really bright. Grabbed a takeaway skinny latte, was really good. Menu sounds great would love to come back
I just loved Poke The Bear. We ordered from the Vegan Menu which they also offer. The burgers, tacos & potato skins were all DELICIOUS!! The Cocktails & Coffee were amazing too!! Highly Recommend.

Stopped by after a recommendation from the pathology lab across the road. Still woozy from having my blood drawn, the staff were able to guide me through their menu.
I went with the Bearable, which is their avocado, fetta, cherry tomato, fresh herbs on sourdough multigrain.
The food is delicious and well presented, and the service is great.
I extend that recommendation!

Enjoyed my coffee here always. I really liked their warm poke bowl. Noting that it is not a japanese hawaiian style but it was packed with healthy, yet yummy toppings! So filling. Other dishes for me were average. Try the poke! *Growl*
Honestly the best breakfast I have ever had. Staff were so funny and onto everything. Can't recommend enough.
Best cafe I have ever been to. I have never left a review but felt I had to. I was in Melbourne for a short time, found this place the first day and went back everyday. Food is healthy and tastes amazing, staff are very friendly. I will come back just to eat here.
We love this place. My husband and I drive a fair distance to come here but it's worth it. Great atmosphere, yummy wholesome food and fantastic staff. Portugese tart is highly recommended!
