Really authentic pizza, perfect base. Looking forward to my next visit!

Those will be your two eyes very much open when you stare at the amazing menu that Farina 00 has!
If there is one thing that I truly admire about a pizza is the dough. I know many people are so fussed about it that sometimes they even leave the outer part of the crust because it’s either 1-too hard or 2-not tasty enough/lacking flavour. What if you’ve found a perfect vegan pizza made in a true Roman traditional wood-fired oven?
What if you found the best of Italian food with options that cater for all dietary requirements without having to travel to Italy?
Yes, I know making a trip to Italy just for a pizza would be pretty... hardcore and certainly an adventure! But well, that would quite an expensive pizza 😂 plus, I have been to Italy before and let me tell you that I’m pretty sure that you wouldn’t be able to find so many non-vegan and vegan options in one place. How about vegan deserts! Vegan Nutella Calzone? What? 😍
We arrived at the venue around dinner time and there was still plenty of light outside for a semi-rainy day as it was and it was quite easy to find parking just right at the door. There is some seating outside featuring some wooden tables and the place was even a drawing a massive oven on the left side of the door. Once you step inside you feel like you are walking into one of those cosy cottages and what I obviously noticed first was the massive MASSIVE wood-fired oven just next to the counter area. Not only it is quite impressive but it also radiates warmth (very much appreciated) to the people that are coming in - very well thought! 👏
The decoration is pretty and simple with some bold moves like chairs stick in the walls up high and big oven cutlery related items placed in the walls. The tables have some very pretty flower branches and even the cutlery is rustic and elegant at the same time. The whole ambience looks like one of those Italian cosy restaurants but with a twist 👌 a special twist.
We were kindly received and sat just next to the wood-fired oven which I absolutely loved not only for the extra heat but because I would be able to see what was being made and even talk and get to know the owner better. Yes Nadim, the man, is not only able to have the most interesting conversations but he sure makes the TASTIEST pizzas! Made RIGHT in front of you, in a massive wood-fired oven, this is provable one of the most interesting experiences I have had recently!
After going through the menu, I have to say that I was quite indecisive between which vegan pizza to have but vegan cheese and pesto are definitely my weaknesses and OMG. Can we please go back in time so I can have these again?! 🤤 here’s what we had:
- Foccacia Garlic Bread with Vegan Cheese - not only was the bread amazing and the serving size is out of this world but the cheese. OMG THE CHEESE 😍 the taste is incredible and I actually even discussed the fact that the use a Philadelphia cheese in the pizzas and not a mozzarella or a cheddar. Personally I would have thought that those let ones would work better but no no no, no way. The cheese chosen here is just perfect and carefully chosen 👌 great job! Looking back, even though this was incredible - soft and gooey on the inside and crunchy on the outside - I would have asked for the cheese and herbs focaccia instead just because I think that the herbs might take this no a whole new decadent level. Either option, you will absolutely love it, that’s for sure.
- Da Meaty Vegan Pizza - after a very hard time choosing which vegan pizza to have, I ended up going for this one because of the pesto. I don’t want to give out the secret but they use a different and bold nut base for the pesto and it couldn’t work any better 👏👏👏
With a generous base of pesto, an incredible serving alone of vegan cheese and sautéed mushrooms (omg omg ao good!) this a winner already 👌 and to my surprise, the olives on top (slightly salty) enhance the flavour of the whole meal and OMG. A bite of this is just pure heaven. Not even kidding. I am not even a fan of olives and I think that without the olives here the meal would be lacking something. This is just perfection. Perfection in a a crunchy homemade pizza base 👏👏👏
- Meat Lovers - my friend had this pizza and he absolutely loved it. I didn’t try it because we didn’t ask for the vegan cheese in this one and it had mozarella, but they are quite flexible and more than willing to change the ingredients of the meals to suit everyone’s dietary requirements! With some sauce and generous portions of ham, salami, bacon and Italian pork sandwich it looked impressively delicious! Not to mention the home made bbq sauce that they use on this one and that is by itself a winner!
- Vegan Nutella Calzone - having had such an incredible experience so far, we couldn’t leave without trying the famous vegan Nutella calzone! It came on time, just as we finished the main pizzas and had an absolute smile of satisfaction, and it came leaving everyone mouth drooling again. They have also a non vegan one but of course that due to my lactose intolerance we opted for the vegan version. It’s a wood fired hazelnut chocolate filled calzone so inside what you can expect is a semi solid hazelnut crumble. The filling is actually quite liquid before the calzone goes to the oven but it becomes harder with the heat. I think that even though the taste is EXACTLY like Nutella, people would enjoy it more it if it could be somehow more liquid and creamy and not as hard. I left a friendly suggestion to the owner and I know he will certainly see what he can do, as it was a mutual opinion 🥰 otherwise the dough is slightly softer than the pizza ones and appropriate as it is supposed to be a dessert ☺️
- Affogato - my friend also decided to ask for a little treat of a scoop of vanilla icecream, expresso and amaretto and he sure loved it. It was fairly late and I even warned about the caffeine but it sounded (and then was indeed!) so good, that how could he even resist 😂 if you feel like you are already full after the main pizzas and still want a little dessert, this is perfect in size!
I felt so much love and passion here. You know the feeling of just doing things ‘just because’ versus actually loving it and not feeling like it’s a job? Nadim, the owner, is the definition of this last one and he spend hours, days, weeks, months, trialing every ingredient in the menu to create the perfect meals. And he had been impressing not only the loca costumers but having people even from the other side of the city (like me!) speechless!
Highly recommend this place. Without a doubt. And even if your more ‘I cannot deal with the crust’ team, trust me, you eat all the crust and even lick the plate here 👌👏
Fantastic place to have pizzas, pastas, calamaris and more, including desserts. I found the place via EatClub and got a discount. It also seems zomato gold members get perks here as well.
Overall, I found the interior decor to be warm with the red brick walls, atmosphere welcoming, and staff very friendly without being intrusive. Most of all, the foods were absolutely delicious and the texture of the fettuccine was amazing. Even an average Joe like myself could tell it was homemade from scratch. Highly recommended.
Loved the hospitality and the relaxed atmosphere of this place. Restaurant is clean and you can see your pizzas being made in a nice wood fired oven. Loved their margarita and they have some good red wine options. Do try their red wine named black dog Shiraz. We also ordered a zatar vegan pizza. I wasnt a huge fan as could barely taste any zatar.. If I hadn't seen sesame, I would have assumed there was no zatar. Nonetheless will return for their red wine and margarita.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pros - the awesome staff. The polenta chips and the calamari.
Cons - The gourmet pizzas are amazing but the regular ones are just average considering the price.
Excellent, authentic Italian-style pizza with a family-friendly neighbourhood vibe. We have had dinner here a number of times and the pizza is always excellent. Service is great, they even have activities for the kids. Reasonably priced and some decent craft beer options on offer
Have you ever tried a Pizza Pasta Bowl? Love pizza, Love Pasta? Its a must try! This place is cute and cosy and its a family run restaurant. Lovely friendly service with an exciting menu. Pasta tasted fresh and full of the right kinda flavour. A really good pizza to match. All in all a good night and of course a tiramisu to end. ***Disclaimer: although the restaurant has generously invited me to their restaurant this review is still based on my genuine opinion.
We had an excellent meal at Farina00 and I will definitely be returning for their signature pizza base bowl! You can add any gnocchi or pasta to it and really, who doesn’t want to eat the ‘plate’ holding all the beautiful sauce of your dish??
To start we had the eggplant chips (special), bruschetta with buffalo mozzarella, roma tomatos & fresh basil and the beetroot salad with goats cheese, rocket and walnuts. All the ingredients were super fresh and tasty; we loved how crispy the eggplant chips were and the bruschetta was so refreshing.
For mains we shared a marinara pizza and gnocchi quattro formaggi (4 cheeses) in their signature pizza base bowl. These were our favourite dishes with the gnocchi especially being a standout - such perfect pillows of light, fluffy potato - they are made fresh in house and are actually vegan too (with a different sauce). The marinara pizza also had a lovely flavour and was packed with fresh mussels, prawns and scallops.
By this stage we were completely stuffed but managed to squeeze in their delicious homemade tiramisu which was so creamy and delish. They also make some great coffee!
All in all, a beautiful meal and you can really taste the love and care that goes into each dish. The owners are so lovely, hospitable and really make you feel at home. I would definitely recommend trying Farina00 as it is likely to become your local haunt! Great for families and big groups too. Definitely recommend getting anything in the pizza bowl!!
Amazing! Gnocchi is so so good and this place is so underrated. Loved the focaccia, I believe I got the herbed one it was lovely. Really lovely female staff member who I guess may be the owner? A+

Wow! Amazing food and hospitality at Farina00!
I got to try a few of their vegan options, which were all delish. The vegan cheese is top notch!
We tried:
GARLIC CHEESY BREAD: simple and tasty!
VEGAN GNOCCHI: soft and pillowy, the flavours are great and it is served in a dough bowl, so unique!! Can’t say no to extra carbs!
VEGAN DELIGHT PIZZA: dough and toppings on point!
PEAR /ROCKET SALAD: light and fresh!
VEGAN HAZELNUT CALZONE: So decadent and yum!!
Love the different vegan options and how fresh everything is at Farina. You can see the food being prepared and cooked right next to your table!
Had such a wonderful time here and it was totally well worth the drive! The staff and chef were super friendly and everything tasted incredible. My first time trying the pizza bowl with gnocchi and it was delicious. The pizzas were gourmet and had a really nice dough which were chewy and crispy! The sticky date pudding was one of the best we’ve had. I would highly recommend to visit here if you’re in the area! Thanks for having us :)
This is a beautiful rustic Italian restaurant, that has its own private spot away from the busy life of Northcote. The owners are passionate of making authentic and delicious Italian food, who make you feel welcome as you walk through the door. It’s a place where the locals are on first name base and the wood fire spits out delicious fresh pizza! Even better, the owner makes the pizza fresh in front of you. No pre-made pizza base from the fridge, you watch as your pizza spins in the air before it hits your plate! The food is delicious, and we had the famous pizza bowl with your choice of either gnocchi or pasta inside. Living the dream here!
Great service and food was quite nice. Good range of salads which no one probably cares about though I need my carbs with a side of greens so I definitely appreciated it!
Farina 00 Pasta & Wine situated on St Georges Road, Northcote which is the opposite side of the busy High street, Northcote. This restaurant is also easily accessible by public transport (tram stop just in front of the restaurant and 10 minutes walking distance from Northcote station). You don’t have to worry to find the car park if you’re keen to travel by private vehicle, you can either park on the street or around residential area behind this place.
Date night, last night, was a collab with Farina 00 in Northcote. The gorgeous venue is located a bit out of the busy High St strip, which means that people adventure out specifically to go to the restaurant instead of wandering in off the street.
The owners are super friendly and it was great to be able to sit at the front of the restaurant and watch the pizzas being made. It was torture while we were waiting for our meals as every pizza that came out of the oven looked phenomenal.
We started our meal with two glasses of wine and one of the special menu items - polenta fries. They were deliciously crispy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. They came served with aioli and rocket and they were ace paired with the aioli. They would have tasted a bit bland with out a dipping sauce.
We had seen their pizza bowls on Instagram and were very keen to try them, so we both ordered one with a different gnocchi in each. The pizza bowls are a small pizza base, shaped like a bowl, with passata sauce and cheese down the bottom, so you can eat your bowl after you've finished your pasta. Priced under $30, it felt like we were getting 2 meals for the price of 1!
I was keen to try the carbonara, but I ordered the ricotta gnocchi with burnt butter and sage instead. The flavours in this dish were very subtle, but I was glad to have a simpler sauce so that I could demolish my pizza bowl afterwards. The gnocchi was cooked beautifully and were surprisingly large pieces.
My date ordered the gnocchi ragu and said the meat was cooked very well. The sauce was a bit sweet, but it was nice to have something to dip the pizza in to afterwards. He tried mine and said he had FOMO. I offered to swap, but he said it was fine and finished the whole thing - so it must have tasted alright haha.
During our meal, lots of customers came through the door and were greeted by name, showing that the owners go out of their way to remember their loyal customers and their orders. The sense of belonging at Farina 00 is lovely and I would definitely be a regular if I lived in the area. Thanks for having us, team :)
What a great little family restaurant tucked away on St George’s Rd! We arrived and were immediately greeted by the owners, who are absolutely lovely! We were shown to our table and served very quickly. We had the pizza bowl with the gnocchi with sage burnt butter in it - goodness me, what a great idea!! The highlight was the burnt butter sauce soaking into the pizza bowl base - Yum! We also had the meat lovers pizza which was great, lovely thin base and generous on the ingredient. Rocket and pear salad was great and served as a nice way to break up all the carbs! Finished off with some delicious gelato! Cleansed the palate and rounded everything off perfectly. I highly recommend it here!
😱Lizzie’s first impression: I was quickly impressed as I was greeted with the warmest welcome by the Farina 00 staff. I loved how I got to watch them make the pizza in front of me too.
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: I loved the idea of the pasta in a pizza bowl - it’s not actually in their menu but it’s definitely something you shouldn’t miss! The seafood marinara had generous amounts of seafood in it! Dessert was absolutely delicious too!
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: Being a cheese fan, I would have hoped for some more Parmesan on my gnocchi but the ghocchi itself was cooked really well.
🥇Lizzie rates overall: A great humble restaurant in the surburb of Northcote. Definitely worth paying a visit for the pasta in a pizza bowl!
Had the most delicious dinner here 😍 we ordered the butter and sage gnocchi- which was served in a PIZZA BOWL 🙌🏼 two of my favourite things combined into one yum!! I also loved the calamari and arancini 😋 of course I had to get some dessert as well and the tiramisu and orange poppy seed pudding blew me away 🙌🏼 wish I could eat here every day! Nadim and the staff were so friendly as well 😌😌
Farina 00 is a lovely little Italian restaurant located on St Georges Road in Northcote.
Walking into the venue we were greeted with the warm hospitality of a passionate family business. Farina 00 is decorated beautifully with old Italian memorabilia and dim lighting with the wood fire pizza oven right up the front. It was incredible to watch the chef spin the pizza dough & the kids in the restaurant were loving the theatre of it.
We had to try the pizza bowl, served with your choice of pasta. We chose the gnocchi which was some of the lightest and fluffiest I’ve tasted. Absolutely delicious plus of course you can eat the pizza bowl, a stroke of genius.
We also tried the linguine marinara which was filled with amazingly fresh seafood & silky pasta. The mushroom risotto was tasty & full of flavour & the prosciutto pizza had a lovely thin, crispy base & plenty of topping. The menu has a great range of pizza & pasta options as well as traditional Italian starters.
The service, food & hospitality made for a fantastic night, thanks for having us.
Farina00 ( English translation Flour 00- which I learned was the best flour for pizza a pasta) is a wonderful family owned restaurant that serves up fresh woodfire pizza and home made pasta. As soon as you walk inside you are greeted with friendly faces and a giant wood fire oven where you can witness the never ending pizza orders being made in front of you.
We came in here to try the famous pizza bowl pastas which I think is such a great idea, the price of the pizza bowl is at no extra charge and an excellent way to incorporate bread in a pasta meal if you were wanting something to soak up all the delicious sauce.
We started off with the salumi board with added buffalo mozzarella , this I believe is great value for money, you get a generous amount of prosciutto, salami and mozzarella with a nice refreshing salad in the middle accompanied by freshly made bread. We then ordered a gorgonzola gnocchi in the pizza bowl , lasagne Bolognese and a rocky road dessert to end the night
The gnocchi was well made and I loved the flavour combination of the cheese, pear and walnuts, the blue cheese was very subtle but my palette for the cheese is very strong. The lasagne was the highlight of the night, the sauce was delicious and tasted extremely fresh, there was also a lot of cheese but not too creamy , the balance was just right. My partner could not stop raving about the lasagne on the way back home
The rocky road dessert was a very theatrical dish, the tempered chocolate was extremely thin and once you poured the hot chocolate sauce on the disk , it melted away to reveal a rocky road delight underneath, being so full I only sampled a bit of the chocolate and ice cream which was rich dark and creamy
Thankyou for having us !
4.5 Can’t decide between pizza and pasta? Tuck in to one of Farina’s signature pizza bowls, enjoy the best of both worlds! Expect a warm welcome in this family owned establishment. Being a little off the beaten...
These guys have got to be one of the most friendliest and warm pizzerias in town.
Owner operators always have a smile on their faces and make their customers feel welcome.
I really wanna try their famous "Pizza Bowl" but I'm working up to it.
Must try: Sausage pizza
Lovely Italian food in Northcote. The wood fired oven greats you as soon as you step inside. The pizzas are thin and crispy with a variety of toppings.
The antipasto board is generous with its serving. Definitely add the buffalo mozzarella.
The ricotta gnocchi is so light and pillowy. You can even get it served in a bowl made from pizza If you love your carbs as much as I do.
For dessert we had the tiramisu, sticky date pudding and affogato. They were all great tasting.
I really liked the pizza base. It was thin and crispy. So many pizzas are soft so this was a nice change.
The gnocchi was to die for. So pillowy and fluffy.
The chef is so lovely. You can tell he loves it. The kids were loving watching him flipping the dough in the air.
Initimate setting. Not too cramped or cosy though.
I'll be back.
Just ate here and already can’t wait to return. This humble, dimly lit venue boasts some amazing Italian dishes. The gnocchi was fresh and soft like little clouds. Not to mention it was served in a deliciously cheesy pizza base!
We also sampled some pizzas and topped the night off with a deep fried Nutella calzone for dessert - had to be done!
The staff were all so warm and welcoming and made our dinner one to remember. Highly recommend!
Headed to Farina last night and left extremely happy. Customer service was 10/10, the staff were really lovely people. A great fit out with the wood fire oven at the front with an open pizza kitchen so you can literally watch the chef make your pizza. We sampled a range of dishes and my 2 favourites were the prosciutto pizza and the nutella calzone. Big ups for the creativity in the pizza bowl used to eat your pasta in. The base was perfectly cooked and had a nice cheese pull at the bottom. My only knock was the ragu in the pasta which was a touch dry. Will definitely be coming back soon.
We were delighted to get invited to try the menu at this busy Northcote venue specialising in wood fire pizzas. I’ll admit to coming in a little frazzled from a bout of aggressive honking from fellow drivers, I dared to want a car park spot during peak hour that needed backing into... some people!
I started my evening with a negroni cocktail and KD has a perfectly refreshing Pinot Gris. The menu has some really interesting items on it including beetroot arancini (flavours change regularly) and your ability to order any pasta dish and have it delivered in a pizza dough bowl. I had to try this and did so with the Gorgonzola Gnocchi with a great rocket and pear topping and walnuts for good measure. This was a novel way of serving of a gnocchi and I loved the way the base blended with the cheese and gnocchi.
We tried one of the owners own pizza creations and we picked a winner. We both love potato on a pizza, this one had the addition of pesto and speck and a spot of mascapone resulting in a mighty fine tasting pizza creation.
Full at this stage but determined to get my Nutella calzone and KD her Italian doughnuts (specials board) we had a brief rest and then indulged in a delicious dessert. The calzone delivered on the hype and the doughnuts were delicious and substantial.
I don’t tend to review service when i get invited in but In this instance was really impressed by what I saw tonight. The staff interaction with customers & delivery drivers was exceptional and this has to be noted.
Thanks a bunch for having us and we’ll be sure to pop back in the future.
This place was fantastic, food is absolutely delicious especially the wood fired pizza, beetroot arancini was spectacular, gnocchi is generous serving and so was the loukomades dessert.. Great place for nice italian dinner.. Yum!
A vibey Italian restaurant with a huge brick-lain wood fired pizza oven at the front, and an open kitchen area just for the pizza making so you can witness the dough being formed on site! It has a very traditional Italian menu, and although pizza is in its name, their pasta dishes are equally as delicious!
I recently visited this pizza and pasta bar and loved it. The thing you notice when you walk in is the aroma from the wood fire oven: delish! The pizzas have a thin crispy base and you can actually hold a piece without it being soggy and losing all the topping. Brilliant! I had the prosciutto pizza which was lovely. We also tried the mushroom risotto, the linguine marinara and the absolute signature dish was the Ricotta Gnocchi served in a pizza bowl. That’s right, a bowl made out of delicious pizza. Amazing! The service was wonderful and the food delicious. Thanks for having us guys!
It was with great pleasure that I accepted an invitation to dine at Farino on Friday. Run by the loveliest brother and sister team I was blown away by their amazingly unique concept that is the pizza bowl. At no extra charge they will serve you your pasta in a bowl made out of pizza dough. Seriously ingenious and utterly delicious. Created by owner Nadim’s hand this authentic Italian wood pizza made with 00 flour as the restaurant name suggests was ridiculously good. I’m not even sure how I’ll go back can to eating gnocchi in a regular bowl so hats off to their creativity.
We started the meal with a serve of both bruschettas topped with yummy fresh quality ingredients which was a nice traditional way to begin. The gnocchi itself was incredibly soft and fluffy and the pizzas as a stand alone have a deliciously crispy base. The calamari was also exceptionally tender paired with the yummiest of aoilis.
Not to be outdone the desserts were also very tasty with the sticky date pudding being a crowd pleaser at the table and up there with the best any of us had had. Tiramisu was also enjoyed but my personal favourite was the Nutella calzone. This is the first time I’ve had the calzone fried and it definitely makes it more dessert like than the pizza style ones I’ve experienced in the past. Served with ice cream it was perfect accompaniment to the decadent chocolate.
An outstanding evening overall and that pizza bowl is easily one of the coolest things I’ve seen in 2017

Amazing pizza place! We loved the scallops in the pea puree and also their creative pizza bowl was fantastic!
Oh almost forgot about their dessert! It’s so rich that the nutella lovers would fall in love!
Fo0die dined as a guest of Farina 00 and as such, the rating does not give any consideration to customer service.
Two year old Farina 00 is located close to tram stops and sits within a strip of stores. We found parking along Gladstone Ave which has no time limit.
Owned by brother and sister duo, brother Nadim man's the wood fire pizza oven having 18 years experience.
The restaurant name Farina 00 is made up of 'farina' which means flour in Italian and 00 is the type of flour used at the restaurant.

To the front of the restaurant is a counter and bar. Located right next to it is a wood fire pizza oven and if you're lucky you might see the pizza dough being tossed into the air. The restaurant itself is long rather than wide and has a nice number of tables.
The decor is all things quirky and strange, from quirkly looking lamps to random pots and pot lids hanging off the ceiling. Something to talk about on a first awkward date as an ice breaker perhaps? :)

The menu is presented on a clipboard with a range of pastas, pizzas, entree, sides and desserts. Between the two of us we had an entree, a salad and a pasta each and a dessert which we washed down with a glass of Italian red.
We started off with their stunning looking scallop dish which was a little overcooked (a slight chewiness to it) but the combination of the sweetness of the pea puree was well balanced with the saltiness of the proscuitto and fragrance of the sesame; overall a very well put together dish.
The two mains was a good portion size with large chunky pieces of pork and veal (i.e. a more chunky ragu) served with their fluffy homemade gnocchi. The linguini marinara served in a pizza bowl was one of the specials being run at the time of dining and was one of those dishes that gave you the best of both worlds, a bit of pizza and a bit of pasta. And if you don't mind a pizza soaked in the pasta sauce then you will enjoy this dish (one of us enjoyed it so we got more pizza than the other!).
The highlight was actually dessert, that sticky date pudding and butterscotch sauce was to die for and amazing (could almost just lick up that sauce).
Judging by the number of takeaway orders (available through Farina 00, eatnow, menulog, deliveroo and ubereats), we could tell their wood fire pizzas were quite popular. Their dough is freshly pulled as orders come in rather than pre-rolled into round pizza bases for ease of getting them out quickly which is nice to see the care and time taken to make sure the best pizzas can be made.
We'll definitely have to try the pizzas the next time we're in the area again.

Seared scallops, pea puree, prosciutto and sesame crumb, herbs ($12.50)
Linguini marinara in a pizza bowl; mussels, pippies, prawns, calamari, cherry tomatoes and capers ($18)
Gnocchi ragu; home made gnocchi with pork and veal ragu ($24.50)
Sticky date pudding; butterscotch sauce, vanilla ice cream ($12.50)
While the food here may not be strictly authentic, Farina00 delicately balances modern and unique twists with traditional Italian influences with great success.
The result was perhaps no less enjoyable than a traditional Italian feast, and needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed both the ‘original’ and the ‘modern’ take on these Italian-inspired dishes.
Wow what a pleasure to be invited to this wonderful cosy pizza bar. We started the night with my favourite new entree the roasted beetroot which was well balanced with the goats cheese. The calamari was nice & light along with the eggplant chips was a great start to the night.
This was followed by the Pasta Alforno which tasted like mac n cheese with tomato sauce on top. The pork fillet was flavoursome and nice and tender served with braised silver beet, caramelised onion, lemon and fresh parmesan. A lovely surprise was the unique speck and pesto pizza topped with the potato and mascarpone cheese. I will certainly be back for this pizza 👌.
We could not leave without trying the nutella calzone. The calzone pastry was very light and was perfect to balance the nutella and ice cream... yumm.
This was washed down with a great selection of wines and coffees on offer too.
DELICIOUS! I'm not generally a huge pizza fan, and with Woodstock and 400 Gradi I have never really thought it to be spectacular (even though they're supposed to be great)... well all that changed last night. Farina - you guys have nailed the pizza. The Napoli sauce is fantastically flavourful. We went for the traditional Margherita and the mushroom special and were not let down. We will be back for more of the delicious calamari too. Thank you!!!
Finally the pizza i was looking for in the last 5 years! really well done guys! crispy crust, totally amazing!😄,exceptional tomato base flavoured with parsley, light dough ,leavened more than 24 h, so that it is really light! don't miss to try pasta too, delicious!lovely staff, so friendly, unique is the key word!thanks so much!
Fabulous pizza and amazing service. Dined here on many occasions and never been disappointed. Our kids love it too! They're very family friendly and always make our kids feel welcomed!
Great food and great service. Gnocchi Gorgonzola to die for and linguini marinara is superb. Always loads of specials and changing menu keeps us interested
Have been to Farina 00 quite a few times and have always been happy with the food and service. We went back as a 4 last week and were again very happy with everything we had. We tried some of the new items on the menu and found the carbonara made in the traditional way (NO CREAM) very tasty and the prawn pasta just as good. We have warned Joanna that we will be back.

Fabulous wood fired pizzas! There are lots of creative flavours, and all the ingredients are of high quality. We will definitely be getting pizza from here again!
First time here and Definitely coming back!
Our meals were delicious and service was amazing ! Farina 00 should have won best pizza ! Well worth it !
I have eaten at Farina 00 many times and have always left feeling satisfied. Food is amazing and so is the service. Great location. Amazing Desserts
My husband, myself & our young daughter had dinner at Farina 00 tonight. We loved it!! We ordered the following large sized pizzas - Marinara, Mexicana and Margherita. They were all absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back. Great, friendly customer service too.
Quality pizza as always! Supreme pizza was delicious. Perfect amount of topping, light dough and not oily.
Friendly staff and prompt service. Best pizza in Northcote/reservoir. Hope to see you soon :)
Love Farina 00 !
We have had quite a few different pizzas from Farina 00, and they've never disappointed. The staff are lovely and friendly, the pizzas are delicious! Definitely our go to pizza place in the area.
We have dined at Farina00 a few times now. Never have we been disappointed. From pizza to kitchen meals, to friendly service, all round great and highly recommended.
Farina was a last minute find on 'let's try something new' Friday. We're glad we did! The food was delicious! From the soft shell crab special, the gorgeous ricotta ravioli with burnt butter and sage (and the lovely pop of sweet cherry tomatoes!) and our satisfying fennel sausage and broccoli pizza- there's nothing we can complain about! It was all amazing! Thanks also for the super friendly service to top it all off. Looking forward to coming back.
Love the food.
Best wood fire pizza i have had. The base is not heavy, the sauce was amazing. The white chocolate dessert pizza was mouth watering!
So glad Farina 00 is just around the corner. Lovely crisp pizza and friendly staff. We are looking forward to trying more of their menu very soon.
This little gem has so much warmth. It's so cosy and has a great atmosphere. The staff are great and very friendly. Food is amazing. You must try the gnocchi and their pizza is so yummy. Best desserts I must add. The White chocolate and blue berry pizza melts in your mouth. Keep up the great work.
Went to this little hidden gem in Northcote I couldn't believe it was the best wood fired pizza I have had and the pasta is unbelievable so fresh and recommend it to anybody and great friendly staff
