Bamboo Vietnamese Restaurant - Northcote - Photo album

Massive servings, tasty food. Very friendly service.

Food was a generous size but the Pad Thai was surprisingly bland.
I loved coming here with my two children. Thank you to the people working there for their amazing service, patience and lovely food. And especially thank you to the man(maybe owner?) For being so kind to my two kids and I and taking a family photo for us.
We love bamboo. It's great for a cheeky cheap meal. Service is great, it's nice to be recognised. We get take out quite often but love popping in and having chicken satay starter or rice paper rolls then something with lots of veg. Main dishes can be inconsistent, especially the Chinese styled one
Enjoyed it the first time then returned with my family and felt ill afterwards probably due to msg been added to the soup - we were left spaced out on the couch and children hyper-active. Friendly service but it pay to ask if they add flavour enhance (msg).
Wow - the Tom Yum was outstanding and very fresh. Was lovely to have two grandmas on the table next to me hand-rolling the similarly fresh looking spring rolls - looking forward to coming back!
My partner ordered a prawn omelette, however received the omelette without any prawns. No dramas reordered pho and laska between us, pho soup base was good however meatballs in the soup were of low quality. Laksa was middling. Probably wouldn't try again however very cheap.
