Super fluffy pancakes. Though am not a chocolate person, I couldn’t help it . For someone one with an average appetite, I was almost done for the day but I kept having more and more of that pancake and also asked for some more chocolate sauce 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
We had famous beef shout ribs, garden salad, ice coffee and mocha. The rib was excellent. Nice and soft, not juicy but that’s the way I like it. The salad is fresh. Although my wife didn’t like the ice coffee, I still quite enjoy it.
So delicious, always really enjoy it here !! great service and quality is always good no matter the time you go. Would like to try the savoury ones haha.
Its been such a long time since I last ate here but I'm glad to say that the quality definitely hasn't fallen. The hot n troppo pancakes were super light, fluffy and decadent though there were a few too many walnuts. Farmers catch was pretty much ur normal fish and chips tho the fish was slightly flaky. Beef back ribs were nice and juicy and those wedges were 👌👌 Thai chicken crepes were kind of disappointing tho since the crepe itself was a little dry and lacking in flavour, and the filling a tad too spicy for the spice intolerant like myself.
I live for their pancakes. They are so yummy, so decadent and just outright delicious. I’ve never been unhappy with my dessert- even when I’m watching my diet! I’ve ordered several of their menu items. Their staff are super friendly and quick to help. The reason I’m rating them a four is because some days- the wait time has been a bit much- over 30 minutes. Also, I am not a fan of their savoury meals - I tend to taste my family/friends savoury meals (I never order savoury here) and I don’t enjoy it- lacks flavour IMO. Sweet meals on the other hand are a different story. So yummy. I highly recommend the Banarama- my ultimate fav however I have yet to try a lot of their other rich menu items. If I don’t feel like a heavy meal, I’ll opt for the single/double pancake with a scoop (or two) of ice cream, maple syrup on the side & a dusting of icing sugar and I leave a happy person. I definitely recommend this place.
This place was always busy with customers everytime we dined there (weekend lunch). The service was pretty quick however, considering the long queue.
They have spacious indoor and outdoor seating area that can accommodate large groups of people.
Their extensive menu definitely caters for everyone (they serve variety of dishes on top of pancakes). On our last visit we chose pancakes (obviously), pork ribs and tandoori chicken pizza. Every dish was a pleasure to eat but the highlight for me was their new addition: chocolate and peanut butter pancakes. Yum!
I love the pancakes here, my favourite is the cinnamon roll pancakes. They have big portion sizes, a variety of flavours, takeaway is available and the waiting time is generally short. I also like that they're open late so it's always fun to have impromptu visits to Pancakes on the Rocks when you're craving something sweet.
I also like the beverages here- everything from chamomile tea to a chai latte or a mocha tastes great and is well-priced.
Ate the strawberry patch pancake, shared between 2. Was very glad that we just ordered 1 dish as it can be quite heavy for 1 person. The pancake was really good and tasty!
I found their classic pancakes and crepes to be consistently good. My favourite is definitely "The Ultimate" crepes However, I think the chocolate pancakes tasted heavy, cakey and were not fluffy enough.
The last time I went there, I ordered a big breakfast to share between the two of us. The serving size was generous and the contents were decent, except for the hash brown. The hash tasted and looked like a processed mix of flour and potatoes extruded through a noodle maker, chopped up, frozen and fried many months later -- rubbery and tasteless. Perhaps they can try freshly made hash browns to improve the quality of their breakfast dishes.
Overall, service was good, prices are decent and the ambience was comfortable.
Excellent place! They have a huge variety of pancakes at affordable prices. We had a divine Devil's delight which consisted of strawberries, cream & chocolate ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce! (Heavenly). We also had an amazing Italian salami pizza cooked to perfection and some lovely potato wedges with sour cream. Fast and friendly service and definitely returning here!
I'm an Indian and this is my most frequent and favorite place to dine when I visit my sister in Australia.
They have amazing variety of pancakes and all that I've tried are delicious. My favorite is the blueberry pancake.
I recommend Sea food crepes, Tandoori chicken pizza, Thai crepe and their amazing American Breakfast.
We had this place on the list for a while now. Today we had breakfast there. We ordered pancakes and sausage, the dawn and the Macademia, as for the drinks we had 2 fresh orange juice , a smoothie a flat white and long black, We were 3 and we paid around 85$ the food and service were really good.
I've been a long time customer for Pancakes on the rocks and the food has always been good. However, in this particular restaurant service doesn't always meet the expectations. Our meal took a little longer to arrive even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. We had to wait at the register for a good few minutes as it was unattended to pay our bills. I guess the restaurant management should work on improving customer experience at this particular restaurant.

✔️ The last time I came here a couple years ago I do not remember them being this good. The service has always been really friendly here and fairly quick. My friend and I ordered one iced coffee and one Fanta spider (didn't get a photo) which was a perfect sweet start - like we weren't going to get enough sugar. We ordered a devils delight each, and I can't explain how beautiful they were - came out piping hot and so thick and fluffy. They look sickly sweet but really they are the perfect amount of sweetness (for me anyway). The pancakes surprisingly weren't too rich or heavy at all, the ice cream wasn't very sweet either but the sweet cream was a nice sweet addition. And the strawberries made the dish perfect adding an element of acidity and making it feel at least a little bit healthy hahaha. People say to share one plate but we both polished off our plates in 10 minutes 😂 By the far the best pancakes I've had in Australia, and not far behind IHOP pancakes in Dubai.

This is a great place to come if you want your pancake fix but can't be bothered driving into the city. The portions here a massive but the pancakes generally hit the spot. You can usually show up without a reservation and get seated and served quickly.
Pancakes!! Always awesome because they're open till late. The chocolate is never too overpowering, goes so well with the icecream and the strawberries always taste sweet and fresh 😊 They have a standard menu that they've kept to for years and it's a good menu.
Service is average, it was a little weird for there to be a line at 10pm when there were plenty of empty tables. Was also pretty hard to flag anyone down and they forgot one of our orders. I didn't really expect much though since it was fairly late at night 😅
Went there for breakfast and ordered from the breakfast menu. Food was really good except for the hash brown which was okay. The store is nicely presented and clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
Food- ordered 6 plates. Fishermans catch, nachos, mexicanna crepes, steak and macadamia madness pancakes. Absolutely wonderful food. Fluffy pancakes. Perfectly crispy chips. Only downside is that nachos had about 4 beans that i could see, but was still great.
Service- shocking. Staff were quite rude. They weren't overly busy but it still took ages to be acknowledged. Not a single smile came from any of their mouths. But it was there tone of voice that was the worst. None of them seemed like they cared even the slightest bit about their jobs.
Environment - nice seating area. Temperature was just right inside. The bathrooms absolutely disgusting! Blood on the wall. Liquid all over the floor with heaps of toilet paper everywhere. With all the staff that were lazily walking around in the dinning area, surely someone could have been put on bathroom duty.

Returned to Pancakes on the Rocks Northmead for dinner and Pancakes and the food did not disappoint!
For dinner we ordered the Chicken and Bacon Pizza and the Margherita Pizza, as well as a Strawberry Milkshake. The Strawberry Milkshake came out straight away and was a hit. The Margherita Pizza was good as you would expect but not everyone was a fan of the Chicken and Bacon Pizza. I thought it was a good combination with the guacamole and sour cream on top of the pizza, as if it was inspired by Nachos.
For dessert we tried a few of the different Pancake options. We ordered the Vanilla and Chocolate Surprise with no chocolate sauce, the Macadamia Madness and the special of the night the Nutella Pancakes with no hazelnuts. All the Pancakes were really delicious. The Nutella was a really delicious option and should be a permanent fixture on the menu. The Vanilla and Chocolate Surprise without the chocolate sauce is much better, as the sauce gets overpowering very quickly. The Macadamia Madness is easily a favourite.
We will be back for more delicious Pizza and Pancakes again soon!

Had a group lunch here on Tuesday. The place is quite big and can easily accommodate big families. We pre ordered as we were a large group with limited time.
The portion sizes are quite generous for the prices. I ordered the savory pancakes the Greek delight. The filling included spinach, feta, onion and a special sauce. There was small portion of garden salad with sour cream and salsa.
The crepes were well made, really thin. The only issue was I would have liked a more flavour in my crepes. Overall it was a decent experience. Would like to go back and try the sweet pancakes.
You can never go wrong with plain pancakes no matter which franchise.
I tried the breakfast options as well as pizza and salads from other franchises that weren't very good at all... Bland, overcooked, greasy. Then again, why eat anything other than pancakes from a Pancake restaurant?
I had nest stick with the Short stack with ice cream. Absolute champ of a late night snack :) yummo
You can't really go wrong with pancakes. I've been here a few times at various times throughout the week with different numbers of people with me and have been shown to a table almost immediately with attentive waiters. I highly recommend the Strawberry Patch. Blueberry Heaven is also lovely.
I use to eat here on a weekly basis when I worked in Westmead, and people always use to ask me "don't you get sick of the food?"
My answer is obviously no... Breakfast, ribs, and bistro meals under one roof. Not to mention a two and a half page menu, just for pancakes and crepes. No complaints!
Amazing and huge pancakes! Really nice if you wanna share. I asked for one buttermilk and one chocolate pancake so this way I could try both of them. The atmosphere is no big deal, but the staff are very friendly! The price I found it quite Okay for the quality of food. Will recommend to my friends and I will be back for sure :)

I highly recommend making a booking especially during the weekends, otherwise you'll be left waiting in line for quite some time. We booked ahead and got to skip the line weeee!
I've been to pancakes several times and would usually order a few dishes to share. We grabbed the ribs with wedges, chicken crepe, nachos, a pizza and two pancakes for the dessert belly 😃
The food's always tasty and very filling, a place I'd happily drop by once in a while.
I have been here numerous times, and my overall experience has been great every single time. Staff are attentive and its nice to see that they know their menu (seems to be a rarity these days in a lot of restaurants). Blueberry heaven, macadamia madness, black forest, the ultimate, short stack.. are all delicious. The range of breakfasts served is quite good too, especially Aussie sunrise. You can mix and match the sides if you wish. No split bills at the counter. Overall, a satisfying experience.
The one thing you can expect from pancake on the rocks is consistency. The dishes taste the same and are really good.
Don't only go there for the pancakes the other savoury dishes are at par.
The caesar salad is one of my favourites there.
The pine crust is a thin crust with basil paste and pine buts on top- a must try.
Though am not a big fan of the pizza's there but do try the savoury crepes- chicken and mushroom and thai chicken crepe.
Pancakes- Bananarama and devil's delight are a must have and great for cheat days
The Hot N Tropo Pancakes (above) were basically buttermilk pancakes, chocolate sauce, chocolate ice cream and bananas on the side. I love the pancakes here because of how delicious they are, even though the serving was massive we managed to finish it with a little bit of a struggle....
Great environment, good place for a feed. I had the seafood crepe, it was way too bland. Had the banana pancake after, it was o.k mine lacked syrup and was a little dry. Fast service and very good customer service

Just get the pancakes. I wouldnt come here for any of the other menu items, its just not up to scratch, pizza was terrible, however the pancakes are good.
Great for late nights. This is one of those places where it is still queuing at 2am! The food is good, very casual atmosphere and if you have no where to go after midnight this is the place for you.
Not the best place to eat, but good if you're craving for pancakes. Bananarama is yummy. Wedges came in a shallow plate, and you have to pay extra for sauces, which is quite ridiculous. Quality of food and service depends on how busy the place is.
Quick service, good food, affordable prices, good venue. Definately way better then other fast food restaurant I went to.
I was obsessed with this place for ages. Breakfast is amazing. Ribs. For a tiny girl like me. Could have been bigger. But I cannot complain with the devil delight pancakes. They are to die for.

Fairly quiet atmosphere compared to the city locations, but we prefer it. We had the margerita pizza to start which was tasty. I had the pork ribs which was a great serving size & the meat was so succulent & almost fell off the bone... He had the vege nachos which was a large size and average in flavour. For dessert I had my fav lemontyme pancakes which were sooo good & he had apple cinnamon pancakes which he said were yum :o) Overall a good feed & not too pricy!
Generous portions. We ordered the big breakfast pancakes and the lemon meringue pancakes. The big breakfast pancakes were interesting, the scrambled eggs seemed like it was from a packet that their microwaved, the hasbrown wasn't great.. it was falling apart and very oily.
The lemon meringue pancakes were the better one out of the two. Not too sweet. We also ordered two coffees which was alright. Both were very milky. The service was good, the waiter was attentive and friendly.
There was plenty of social distancing between tables.

Loved the American beef brisket & beef back ribs - especially when both were served hot (it's how I like my food)
Minus 1 star because our raspberry white choc waffle dessert was too tart/sour
Also, some of the dough wasn't cooked & some tasted a bit burnt - thankfully I ordered an extra pancake, which was yum
& the wedges are nicer at Beverley Hills, as they're thicker, fresher & don't taste refried/oily
Overall we enjoyed our dinner & will definitely return

Good place for a feed. The steak was done perfectly (Medium Rare) as asked for, and the beef ribs melts in your mouth. The staff was nice and friendly.
