Quick fuss free satisfying burger!!! Personally prefer their beef over the chicken burgers. But all their burgers are delicious. I leave so satisfied after every meal. Tater tots are a must have too!!
Very homely feel to the burgers. Rustic appeal with interesting flavours to the sauces. Very affordable. The place was busy! Always a good sign. Will definitely come back again and try the other burgers.
Shop was big, got two sides, one with the pan cooking the beef patty and the other side is a long big high table. Went for a chicken burger, was yummy and hue and just deep-fried, loving the sauce.

Very American style burgers, good if thatās what you like. Personally I enjoy this on occasion, paired with some tasty tater tots and their awesome fry sauce goes down a treat. However, nordburger takes it to the next level with their shakes. Go try the PB and J, or snickers, or any of them really...
Have come here a few times and always like their burgers. They cook in front of you so it's kinda transparent. You can see what you eat.Ā The stuff is always fresh. The restaurant is opened till late on most days so you can pretty much go to Hoyts for a movie and grab a burger here.
Love me a cheat day, and I pretty much inhale the mushroom burger when I'm here and hungry. There's just something about the taste of it being very comforting. I wouldn't say this place does gourmet burgers such as the trend is going, it's more like fast food that actually tastes okay. Thickshakes provide brainfreezes of the best kind, chocolate is good, PB&J is weird but grows on you.
Well done boys and girls! Great burgers and awesome thick shake. First the cheese burger is great, good balance of flavours and most import honest ingredients! Hands down one of the best thick shakes Iāve had, snickers! Iām very picky with my burgers and thick shakes. Both aspects you guys have done well! Will be back again.

Sat in for a quick burger with the family. Derive was simple and the food was out quickly. Nice all round burger. Kids liked them and they are the real burger judges in my clan.

This is one of my go to spots to enjoy a juicy tasty burger. The flavours are always fantastic and it of the 20 or 30 times Iāve been there i think there has only been one let down. The burger sizing is fair and they offer a range of beef, chicken and vegetarian burgers. I personally would recommend the chicken, the way it is fried is absolutely amazing and I honestly am yet to have better. The beef burgers are equally as tasty.
Service is fast and pricing is very fair. They serve up chips and tatter tots as well delicious milkshakes and ice cream. Iām yet to try there breakfast chicken and waffles.
You donāt wait longer then 15-20 minutes and even that is on an extremely busy day.
Customer service is average however they do what they need to and are friendly and polite enough.
The atmosphere of the place is great however it can get quiet busy and crowded due to its popular location. Itās very loud inside due to the music and customers so just be sure to listen carefully for your order Name to be called.
One issue with this particular store is that you share a table with lots of other dinners, so if your looking to have you own secluded spot I would suggest the south rd shop. However this had never bothered my partner or I.
Overall we really love this place and will for sure be back again because we know the quality we will receive

Nordburger is what delivers an impression of a american burger joint. Make sure you have burger with fries and a milkshake. When there is a game to watch, ill have them.
Love the food here but it's somewhat on the oilier side! Normally I get the spicy chicken burger or chilli cheese fries which are both very delicious and flavourful! Portions are very good too especially the tater tots which are very cheap for how much u get! Atmosphere is really great and love the interior designs! One unique aspect is how there's a place for washing your hands which is near when u sit so it's very convenient!
We came here for their chocolate custard (soft serve) and a quick peanut butter and jelly milk shake (tasted like a snickers smoothie)- both delicious and the service was lovely despite it being crazy busy. We are yet to go back and try their burgers hence I'll upgrade my rating accordingly depending on how that goes! I don't think I can give higher than 3.5 for standard tasty soft serve and milk shake.

Ā The Nordburger is very juicy and a real American style burger, but it's not heavy, so it would be really easy to down a couple. Ā The crinkle cut chips and tater tots are bland but crunchy, but good enough as far as chips go. Ā If I go back I'll be trying the chili fries instead. Ā Interior decor is very simple with a lot of cement, white subway tiles and plywood surfaces, but it's appealing and there is outdoor seating if you prefer. Ā The music inside is slightly too loud for my aging ears, but I'd listen to a recording of screaming babies if I got to eat a Nordburger and PBJ thickshake for lunch every day, so it's bearable. The menu is simple, but does offer low-carb options and prices are very reasonable. Ā Service laid back but friendly and it's nice to be able to watch your burger get prepared right before your eyes in the spotlessly clean kitchen. Ā Total winner!
Superb! We had a stall at the AFF markets this day and stared at the burgers and fries coming out of the shop most of the morning. I ordered a Royale and got the GF a Cheese burger and some tater tots. I was pleased with the service and quick turn around time of the lads on the grill. The burger clearly had some good quality beef in the pattie and the brioche bun could not have been fresher! Ā The burgers we had were classically simple with perfect amounts of sauce and pickles which made it uncomplicated perfection. Possibly one of the best burgers I've eaten to date.Ā

The store was decorated really nicely and the staff were great, the burger was average along with the chips but the price was actually pretty cheap for a double burger. Pay for what you get I guess.
Burgers and fries are amazing but the frozen custard is exceptional. Delicious! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fast and delicious food. Good prices too!
I ordered the Chicken Kahuna burger and a rhode island shake and both tasted great! I have also had the flavoured tato tots which were a good snack also.

I LOVE this place! The burgers are tasy and moist and the place has a great vibe. I also love the tater tots and fries and how you can add additional things to your burgers and the Nord sauce is awesome. The peanut butter and jelly shake is my favourite.
Best burger place in Adelaide. Usually crazy busy in Norwood outlet, but staff are quick, friendly and efficient. They have delicious meat burgers but I love their Mushroom burger so much! The fries are great too.
The spicy chicken burger on the whole was pretty good, great amount of spice, mayo and coleslaw but the chicken itself was average. Albeit tender, something about the batter wasn't right. It wasn't as crispy as others I've had and was falling off the chicken. Snickers thickshake was amazing and probably artery-clogging. Tater tots were great, regular fries needed salt, and the cheese and onion crinkle cut royale fires were a bit sickly. Worth a try if you're a burger fiend.
My favourite burger joint in Adelaide. Best hangover cure going around. Double cheese double beef. Snickers shake. Don't go expecting to be wined and dined obviously. Just go for a chew and then gtfo. Confirmed tasty.
Was the best place in Adelaide for a burger, until supply was greater then demand. Since this has happened, the quality of the food has dropped, for example dry over cooked fries, milkshakes that are mixed correctly and soggy burgers.
Consider moving to a larger premises to employ more staff to cater for increase in demand.

It is great to see a place like norburger evolve! The burger are really nice, love the nord sauce! And the service has been outstanding since day one! Would only recommend to take away though because the place is so busy!
AMAZING burgers. Just a shame it's so far away for where we live. Sometimes we drive all the way there just for a burger. Staff are always having fun and the service is very quick.
I have tried many a burger, but this place is the king of them all. I haven't found an item on their menu, that I haven't liked yet. Definitely a favourite in this household.

This Nordburger is split into two sections, 'Nordburger' and 'Rainbow Island'. I've eaten Nordburger burgers on Port Road & quite liked them, but today I was trying some sweets from the 'Rainbow Island' area.
The decor is super modern and sleek, yet 'take away' and Rainbow Island is the Soft Serve/sweets side.Ā
I had the Nutella pudding, which was essentially Chocolate/Nutella Mousse with pieces of chocolate cake mixed in, topped with whipped cream and cherries. GUYS. DID YOU JUST READ THAT? READ IT AGAIN.
It was everything. It was good. I loved it.Ā
My partner had a PB&J milkshake which was SO rich & maybe too penutty? I tasted it a few times and only near the end did I taste the jam. Ā
It's not something I'd usually order because too much peanut butter needs something to cut through it.
Give it a go for a dessert!

Nordburger! One of my favourite burger joints in Adelaide! I can never have enough of this place, its always one of my top consideration whenever I'm craving for burgers. This place is always quite busy and has limited seating, but fortunately they expanded their store. The store next store is like the dessert section which sells milkshakes and ice cream.Ā
My favourite burger is the Mushroom burger with additional beef . The mushroom is deep fried, and its just perfect. The mushroom is nicely fried with a crunchy exterior and a juicy interior. I always add the beef because i believe that there has to be some sort of meat inside to be classified as a real burger. Although they don't have any special sauces inside their burgers, the ingredients have more than enough flavour and the mushroom is juicy enough to prevent the burger from being too dry.
They have many other burgers to choose from, but every time i go i cannot resist myself in ordering the Mushroom Burger. I also get the Tater Tots as the side, and its always great (Mr. Potato-san loves his potatoes!). The sauce and the Tots go really well together, and i always want more...
Nordburger is definitely in my top two when it comes to burger joints in Adelaide. With the newly opened dessert section, this place really has it all as a burger joint, and i cant wait to try it next time. Also a reminder to myself, try the other burgers on the menu!

Notorious and arguably Adelaide's best burger place. Their large selection means each time is a difficult choice on what to get. Their royal burgers are a quick diabetus feed but always good. Their burgers are different to a lot of others due to them not encountering the constant problem of juices from the burger dampening the bun. Their chip selection is adventurous but the cheese and onion chips are a bit sickly. Their chilli fries are great and I would recommend them to people. The service is very quick and all the staff are friendly.

After hearing so much about Nordburger, I had to give it a try and it's safe to say I was not disappointed. The burger was very large in proportion, which I quite like and the sauce was absolutely delightful. It is true what everyone says, the Nordburger sauce is absolutely fantastic. Overall, Nordburger is a solid choice if you're after a great burger. If you were to think of a burger joint, Nordburger will come to mind.
Burgers are decent bit greasy tho but i guess thats the american style maybe needs less cheese. Sides and shakes are delicious though so makes up for it
Not bad, burgers were quite tasty but pretty greasy. Potato tots were really good though! An also really delicious milkshakes- get the salted caramel! I'm not rushing to go back but would be happy to go again! Pretty expensive for the size you get.

My ultimate Shake Shack craving substitution is the well esteemed Parade (and now Hindmarsh) establishment known as Nordburger. It rings in high On The Chopping Board burger list, and has a menu comparable to the Shack.
One of Adelaides best burgers. Nordburger at Norwood would have to take its place amongst Adelaides best burger bars. Burgers are fresh and use quality ingredients. Service is friendly quick and professional. Prices don't make you feel like you are being ripped. These guys comfortably deliver the whole package.
The best burghers in town. I eat at Nordburgers regularly and the quality and flavour of the burghers are always consistently good. Would be great if there was room to sit and eat in a more comfortable way. Love the hand washing facilities at the back of the shop.

Favourite burger restaurant. I have dined at plenty of burger restaurants in Adelaide, Grill'd, Fancy Burger, Enuf Burger Bar, Burger Republic, etc. And Nordburger is by far the best with the best value and tastiest burgers! Have eaten here 3 times now, both takeaway & dine in, thoroughly enjoyed it all times. The staff are always so friendly & vibrant, and even when the place is really busy I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for food to be ready. Not a huge range of burgers on the menu however that hasn't been an issue for me as I believe quality is better than quantity. The burgers are juicy, and flavoursome, and the tater tots are crispy and hot, and the dipping sauce works perfectly with them.

Burgeoning burgers. In a whirlwind visit to Adelaide I was introduced to this burgeoning delight in The Parade. Burgers served fresh from the grill to your plate as you sit spectating from the bar. From the tales told the burgers here have instilled many meat dreams and sated even the most demanding appetites. As you enter you are struck by the sheer size of the bench, customers perched there as spectators to the open kitchen. A clear and concise menu is displayed above, with standing tables at the back and my favourite two large wash stands at the back. Crucial at your hearty burger joint. Now, this place gets busy but they still churn out burgers, tater tots and hot dogs in around 10mins; pretty good for hand made burgers. Their range have the entry level cheese burger, chart topping Double Bacon and Vege alternatives with the mushroom burger. I was able to sample the mushroom and Double bacon delights with chili fries and tater tots for sides. And wow the double bacon was superbly supple, juicy and very, very tasty. The brioche bun is sweet and light, so you are going to fill up only on bread. The patties are moist and succulent, cooked through and bound with cheddar cheese. I had extra jalapeƱos for taste (am a fan) but these didn't over power the taste either. The tomato relish and sauce add a nice edge to the swirling flavors of cheese and meat. I was really pleased with the burger, tasty and not overwhelming or heavy. However, it was not ground breaking or individual - a solid and enjoyable burger. Now the sides. I'm going to be honest both the chips and tots tasted like packaged from your local grocers. The chili added was so-so something like a chunky Chipotle from the jar. Leading to soggy and fairly bland chips. Might have needed some salt. Nice side, not my highlight for me. So overall - give these guys a go; great burgers and pretty awesome atmosphere.

Never disappointed. Every visit to Nord Burger is always worth it! Love the stone tables and the sanitary area with fragrant soap provided for washing up. Unfortunately the place is small and is better for take-aways. The burgers are delicious, juicy, succulent. Mushroom burger is my ultimate favourite. And for that price, it is definitely one of the cheapest burger joints around. Tater tots are also a must-buy as a side dish. *you can worry about hitting the gym later)

Will go again. I've been meaning to check out Nordburger all year but never had a chance. A few months ago I intended on going but there was nowhere to sit inside or outside so my friend and I went to Grill'd up the road.
Finally I made it inside and the Parade establishment is very laid back. A very long, solid counter for both dining and serving with a bit more seating at the back. My friend and I ordered a bacon double and a cheeseburger with tater-tots to share. All the food is prepared in front of you and we didn't have to wait long for it to be ready. My cheeseburger was excellent and whatever the 'fry sauce' is that my tater-tots came with - whoa, I could eat it forever.
Overall really good tasting food and service, a bit of a letdown with the lack of seating. Go in there during the week and you should be fine. We'll be back!

Best burgers in Adelaide! And I'm a tough critic!!. I'm a tough critic when it comes to burgers, but Nordburger makes THE BEST BURGERS I'VE EVER TASTED! It all comes down to the Nord Sauce which is pure amazingness!! It's generally always busy, but don't let that put you off, the line moves quickly and the burgers come out just as quick. Burgers are well priced, as are the sides. Make sure you try the fry sauce with chips too! The staff are super friendly and the vibe is very upbeat.
I can't recommend Nordburger highly enough - I'd eat there everyday if I could!

The only burger bar we need in Adelaide!. I cant stop coming to Nordburger! My friends ask me all the time why don't you try all the 'new' burger bars opening up around Adelaide! I tell them the same thing every time, "why try and fix something that's not broken"? To be honest, i think Nordburger is the only burger in Adelaide that has got it right overall! Too many of these other burger bars try to be too fancy and offer too much and end up over doing it! Nordburger is quite simple, extremely tasty, perfect sizing and most importantly most reasonably priced. Don't stress if you make a mess of yourself, they have a trough with taps at the back to clean yourself up after you have devoured your burger! (what an idea!).
Real burgers !!. If you are looking for a real burger look no more, Nordburger are miles ahead of anyone.. That's a fact!!!
Simple, fast and great. The food here is great, the service is efficient and fast. Get the tator tots and the chilli fries, you'll love! The pretzel milkshake was ok, a little sour.

Let's get a few things sorted out straight away.
It's a tiny shop with a big counter down the middle of it and there are a very few tables with some stools at the counter. So if you're hoping to stretch your legs out and sit in spacious comfort then you're in for a disappointment. If it's busy (and apparently it gets very busy at times) then you will be crowded.
So don't be going in there and saying "Oo it was so crowded!" Yep it is, so be prepared for it and don't be complaining.
Next, they do burgers, they do hot dogs, they do chips, they do milkshakes. So don't be going in there and saying "Ooo, the menu's limited. Oooo there's no wine list. Oooo, the food's greasy. Oooo they don't do gluten free." They do burgers, chips, milkshakes - if you don't like burgers and chips, then don't step foot inside the door.
But they do burgers, chips, hot dogs and milkshakes very well.
We had the Big Kahuna and a Junior Burger with chips and (how good is this?) tater tots. Yep, tater tots. Potato Gems.Whatever you want to call 'em they were crunchy and delicious and a throw back to tea in front of the telly with Mum and Dad at home when I was a kid. Along with a Root Beer Float and a very tasty Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshake the things were just great.
None of this big thick patty that's let rare in the middle thing that some other places seem to think the hep cats dig. This is a good dollop of minced beef flattened out with a spatula and then cooked through.
Fresh salads on the burgers, good sauce (more tomato sauce and mustard in squeeze bottles on the counter) and all in big hamburger buns (not the tiny, sweet buns that seem the go in other places.)
Not overly expensive for this sort of thing and a damned sight better than a Big Mac or a Whopper,
And you get a burger without all the theory and ideology that seems to have seeped in to the gourmet burger shops around town.

Delicious! I don't usually get that excited over a burger but the burgers here are fantastic. Would much rather have this American Style burger over a giant pub burger any day! And the Potato gems are A must! Overall a winner all round, well done Nordburger :)
Yum!!. Burgers are delicious! so are the milkshakes! Only downside is the limited space to eat in. Ordering, then having the food arrive before you get a table is frustrating so recommend take away! Finally a place that does potato gems too!! big thumbs up!

Chips were amazing and the burger tasted what an American burger should taste like. Pattie was perfectly cooked and the flavours were awesome.
Salted caramel milkshake was delicious and I'd go back there again just for that!!!!

Delicious. I must say the Nordbuger was very tasty indeed in a real 'Milk-Bar' type place to eat my only dissatisfaction was the food was very very greasy but the taste was a nice beefy burger.
We ordered Norddburger and crispy chicken burger. The food was simple, classic, good executed and fairly balanced. Lovely chipsšš¼šš¼Nice crust on patty, simple good bun and good tasting burger. The crispy chicken burger was so tender and moist. 100% smashed style beef patty needed more seasoning for sure!
Clean venue, good atmosphere overall and your order is generally delivered quickly. Sometimes the presentation can be a bit slapdash. The burgers are nice: Good quality meat, nice sauces and cheese and other fillings. The buns are a bit small so halfway through the meal they tend to fall apart so everything falls out but the taste is great.
Staff generally friendly but can be a mixed bag. Iām a bit anti the eftpos surcharge, thought that was a thing of the past.
Drink selection is good, some USA labels imported.
Overall it can be a bit expensive for burgers but at the same time the quality is much better than other options.
Main reason for 4 stars is the seating. There isnāt much inside and the stools that are available are not the best. You keep feeling like you are going to slide off them as they are a bit far from the bar.

Order up tool isn't the best. Waited over 45 minutes for my order when order up said it would be ready in 10-20 minutes. Upon ordering, it was advised I would receive an email when my order was ready which I never did. Luckily, the food is absolutely awesome!!
