It had been a long time since I'd had a Madame Wu laksa so a trip to Hoyts at Norwood meant that it was time to reaquaint myself. We started with the spring onion pancake and some stuffed chicken wings. Both were good. The laksa was as good as I remembered and I inhaled that bowl. The noodle dish that we ordered was also good. Friendly service.
Fantastic. Great atmosphere, service is top notch. Combination Laksa came quickly and is absolutely delicious!!!
A highlight of The Parade. Seriously, do it. A bit pricier than the $$ would leave you to believe but we’ll worth the slight bump.
Polite staff and great food. We ordered the Pad Thai, Red curry duck and squid. Although the curry was a little bit spicy and the Pad Thai quite plan the food was still very tasty. Will definitely come back!
I really like this place, it always has a good happy vibe of customers enjoying their food.
On a cool night, family member and myself had a massive craving for laksa! Oh but where to go where it is good! Hard to find sometimes, but I would certainly return for Madam's laksa!
The laksa is really good value, big hot steamy bowl of yumminess and I believe they even fry their own tofu, which is fluffy and delicious, the stock is simple, not too overpowering so I did find myself adding extra chilli to beef it up a bit, but of course, that is personal taste! We also had the stuffed chicken wings, which are really good too.
Everything I have eaten from here over the years, has been really good and that is probably why they are always busy. Consistency is the key.

Brilliant! Food and service spot on.
Salt and pepper squid was cooked to perfection with a nice amount of chilli also added.
Tom yum soup with chicken was also a big tick.

Love the laksa at madam wu and the udon noodle soup! Pandan chicken is amazing! Have been coming here for years! And you can't go wrong with a free fortune cookie every time!

predictable but reliable western flavours, all in all a bit too greasy for my liking but hey they are always busy......I must say however that the whitebait is delicious.
Choo chee chicken is a must! Been visiting this place for years, each time I return to Adelaide. Family who live here are also regulars. Flavours are great, service is exceptional and prices reasonable.

Exactly as expected- came for a family meal and the flavours were great. Started with the sure platter which included peanut chicken satays with pickled cucumbers, chilli prawn crackers (which were HUGE) spring rolls with chilli sauce and pandan chicken. I'm a sucker for pandan chicken so enjoyed that immensely.
For mains we had
- Nasi goreng
Full of prawns and covered in omelette this was yum
- kung Po prawns
Also (luckily) full of prawns.
- sizzling beef
The latter of the three dishes were pretty oily but I can't say they weren't delicious. The flavours were all predicable but enjoyable. We experienced good service and we're lucky to snag a table outside on a beautiful evening, when inside was pumping and so busy you couldn't hear yourself think. Provides a pretty good cheap and cheerful night.
Love the fortune cookie at the end of proceedings.
Very loud and very busy, the staff is good the owner a little rude until he recognises you as a regular.. The food is pretty good although a little too spicy for people not used to it.
Pretty average service but the vegetarian fried rice makes up for it! I wouldn't normally ordering something as simple as a fried rice but Madame Wu's is so tasty! The flavours are so rich. I haven't enjoyed other meals as much but I'd go back again and again for the rice!
Been a number of times and haven't been disappointed. Tried quite a few of the different dishes & always pleased with the flavours & dishes selected. Service is prompt & food is quick to be delivered. Whenever we are looking for a casual night we'll head here & always leave content.
Great quality and value for money!. Madame Wu's has a great selection of good quality Asian cuisine at a very reasonable price! I have eaten there probably 30 times and have never been disappointed!
Always Come Back. We have been living in Norwood for years, dined at a few of the local Thai restaurants and we always love it @ Madame Wu's. Looking at reviews its either a hit or miss here but we love our Choo Chee Chicken and Satay Wok Chicken. Hubby will always try something different and I always say I will too but I cant, my Choo Chee is just the best. Satay Chicken skewers are also great, our daughter loves them. Danny's is good but for me Madame's is better. They both have different versions and I prefer Madame Wu's. Only negative is I wish Madame Wu's would include more veggies. I will always go back, one of our faves.
Pretty Tasty. I know this place isn't the height of asian cuisine, but their Pad see ewe noodles and Sesame squid are both bloody tasty. If youre looking for cheap, quick and tasty asian, then this place is great.

Rocks my world. Could eat there anytime. Highlights are Madame Wu Coconut and Lime Chicken and Mooshi Fried Rice. A pleasant spicy experience every time I go..... which is often.
It may not be the best Laksa I've ever had but it's always enjoyable. A broad Asian style menu suits all tastes, even the kids. Simple, unpretentious, good service, not expensive.
Great food, but noisy. Friendly staff, good food, just a shame it's too noisy- tables are so close together that it makes for difficult conversation when it's busy! Best asian food in the area though and will still come back
Hands down best pad Thai and chow hor fun in town! Winner!
I will be going back!!. I am glad I happened to stop into this place for lunch. Big servings at great prices! It was a remarkable find and I will definitely be going back!
