Stepped in for a bite and drink.
Very friendly service. We were greeted & seated and told to order at the bar.
I chose a Guinness and fish n chips. Lovely fresh salad and generous portion. The fish was a little greasy - only criticism. Guinness was absolutely superb.

Enjoyed our food. Most of the dishes we had tasted awesome. I personally liked the mushroom risotto (I ordered) but a few of my other family members felt it was too cheesy.
Managed to grab a seat outside while it was nice and sunny. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. The entree-sized fish and chips dish was plentiful and delicious, not too oily. The bruchetta dish was A+, great. Nice eatery out of the main thoroughfare.
Decent grub- one of the better food options in Marion but of course overpriced because it's Marion. The servings in the meat dishes were ample and good quality. Everything was just a tad overcooked (asked med-rare and got medium, lamb not pink in the centre) but tender and still tasted great. Servic
Warm, cosy ambience. I enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant with my lovely friend who thoroughly enjoyed her Bruschetta. The prices are reasonable.
Really a good place to go ! Staff are very nice & friendly. Food is good value. Sitting near the fire in a winter, with friends & yummy food is just what we wanted !
It was a pleasant place for dinner, good selection of food and friendly staff. The stark and guinness pie was very tasty.
Amazing lamb shank and prawn & crab~ The lamb was cooked to perfection. I've delivered on taste & service, thoroughly enjoyed my dinner in Verve :)
