This is such a cute little cafe in Oakleigh (which is so local for me) It’s a great place for brunch and lunch. I always get the smashed avocado which is absolutely my favourite. Thanks for the great meals 👌🏻
Frequent this cafe regularly and always have positive experience whether it’s a breakfast or lunch or coffee and cake or an alcoholic beverage. Service is friendly and atmosphere is welcoming.
quick breakfast with good options for smoothies and juices on a hot day, loved their breakfast with in-house bread on the Benedict, stay was lovely and you have your own space in spite of the number of ppl
Delicious lunch, great coffee, tempting pastries and friendly service. First time at 5five but it won’t be the last I’m sure. Linguini marinara was cooked nicely but I needed to add salt as it lacked flavour but I’d rather add the salt to my taste than have it too salty and inedible. The cauliflower salad was delicious too. Lemon lime tart was just right - nice and light. There’s many options along the Eaton Mall strip but 5five is definitely a strong contender that’s held its own. Good place to just relax and be able to converse without having to compete with loud noise levels.
Great place for food coffee and great ambience.. we dropped by with some friends and where very happy with the food quality and service - couldn’t recommend it high enough
It was surprise brunch. Before my friend go to Sydney, we decided to have a brunch. We haven’t have brunch in Oakleigh, and we just google the nearest restaurant. It was really amazing about the food. The breakfast bowl has really tasty and refreshing sauce. And we both like the sausage of Big five. Friendly serving and yummy food. Will go there again to have a dinner. 😀
A friend and I stopped by here for lunch while in the area. She ordered the trio skewers from the lunch/dinner menu while I got the mushroom medley dish from the breakfast menu. I really enjoyed my food and it was a good portion size. Service was quick and efficient. Lovely restaurant along the busy Eaton Mall strip.
My experience was good but it was not the greatest. First of all I ordered a pure orange juice and what I got was a orange, strawberry and ginger juice from what I could taste. Bit concerning as the waiter said there was leftover strawberry in the juice and thats why its red , so clearly the juicer does not get washed after every juice is made. Just a tip, wash it every time as people like myself are actually allergic to specific fruits so if they think they are getting an orange juice and it has left over fruit in it , it could be fatal for some. The service was good , very friendly and fast. The food was nice but $32 for a juice, avocado on toast with grilled Halloumi is quite overpriced.
We bought a Groupon voucher for 5Five Bakery and had a wonderful meal! The lamb was the best I’ve had in Oakleigh and our waitress Melanie was friendly and generous. We will definitely be coming back!
Second time I have been here and thought it worthy of a review. One of the best pizzas I have had. Fresh ingredients on an absolutely beautiful base. Shared the pizza with my wife who had the cauliflower asparagus salad and it too was really good. Will definitely be back to try some more of the menu. Service was excellent.
Brilliant place for brunch but I will definitely suggest that you book ahead as the place gets pretty busy specially over the weekends.
I had the big breakfast and it was top notch. Others who were with me had the mushroom medley, the croissant and the breakfast bruschetta. All the dishes were well prepared and were hearty.
The sourdough toast were very well made and had a nice toasty crust. The flat white was also pretty nice.
There is nice little parking lot nearby but you’ve to reach there early to make the best of it.
This place is awesome for brunch. Great atmosphere and staff go above and beyond to be accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and servings are very generous. Highly recommend. A fantastic experience all round.
The food here is amazing. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait if you order menu items, but it's totally worth it. The staff are really nice and it's a great place to go for a light lunch.
Nothing like going on a early breakfast joined by a good friend to show you around town. Very nice options and good coffee, can recommend this cafe to others looking to start their day of on a good stomach.

Excellent service. Some dishes were stronger than others. Really loved the zucchini and feta fritters. The special was a beef sirloin steak sandwich which was quite tasty too. Overall staff were really attentive and there was no push to vacate after we finished which is really nice. Drinks were great.
