I have always come here for their xiao long bao. It is super delicious!! Melting in your mouth. However, their other dishes are very average. Still good though. Would always come back for their xiao long bao.

We were here a few years ago yet somehow neither of us could recall exactly what we had then - quite unusual I must say, but we figured that since we are not ones who’d forget what we ate if the food was awful, this place mustn’t have been too bad, hence our recent return.
It was one of those days where my noodle and dumpling urges took hold, so I ordered a Shanghai Fried Noodle and some Steamed Peking Pork Dumplings.
With the distinctive smokiness that make up a good plate of Shanghai fried noodles, these were a joy to eat! A little more pork in there would’ve been great, but that was where the dumplings came in handy to fill in the protein gap. Meaty and juicy on the inside, they did the job but the skins were a tad too thick although not unpleasantly so and were decent overall.
With a hankering for some form of a claypot dish, my partner went for the Seafood Combination & Beancurd with a side of rice. Nothing fancy here, just clean and simple flavours with an abundance of fish fillets, calamari, prawns, fish balls and tofu.
Those noodles certainly charmed their way through our bellies and everything else worked out ultimately in meeting our individual whims.

Staff is rather casual but attentive.

Overall the meals here are super affordable. Don’t expect anything grand, rather a homey and simple tasting meal :)

Was craving dumplings one day and to my surprise I just happened to drive past all seasons on the way home from coles. So I figured I’ll give them a shot. From that day onwards it was been almost like a tradition to buy 2 servings of the pan fried vegetarian dumplings about twice a week 🥟. Amazing

Popped in here yesterday after walking up and down Greek Street in Oakleigh. I had my heart set on yeeros, coffee, cakes and sitting outside in the street enjoying life.
The family had other ideas. We had been to All Seasons about 10 years ago and it's still there. The kids are not kids anymore and wanted to go back.
So, I went in there with my preferences for eating a metric tonne of meat and chips but walked out stuffed full of Xiao Long Bao, Chow Hor Fahn and Ma Po Tofu. And jolly good it was too.
I suppose you have to be good to survive in Oakleigh in that proximity to Greek Street. This place is good. The (not so little) kids were happy, their quest for a little nostalgia did not disappoint. The Beef rice noodles were particularly good.
I missed out on my souvlaki but it was worth it.
Staff are friendly and provide fast service. The pork and prawn spring rolls are amazing. The special fried rice deserves high praise as well. Beef, chicken and prawn, and pork dumplings are good value for the price.

I have dined at All Seasons Dumping Restaurant quite a bit. And by that I mean a lot. Just recently I went past to see if they still hold up. Entered. Full house of customers! I was surprised, but maybe that was because I went during lunch. And while we're at it, the place wasn't that noisy at all. Everyone was chill. Enjoying their food. And that's good. The noisiest restaurants are the ones I tend to avoid unless there's a good reason for visiting them. The staff were friendly, prompt and attentive. That's all you could ask for really. I got some fried rice this time, favourite dish. Nice and pleasant salt taste. The decor was a bit uninspiring. Very one colour with the occasional photo frame up on the wall. Even though it's been awhile since I last dropped in All Seasons it seems to still be doing well. I remember all the times during high school I would just eat here rather than other eateries around Oakleigh. It was a safe place to go to. Their food is good and the prices are reasonable. And that's a great formula.
Dumplings are delicious. A little flat but the skin is crispy just right and the meat is lightly seasoned. Service is alright and served with tea.
Not my go to for dumplings, but was around the corner and friends wanted to grab something to eat. Pretty big causal restaurant with a lot of tables and chairs. Great no frills dining with a big assortment of Chinese dishes and delicious dumplings that are succulent and juicy. Definitely recommend the pan fried chicken and prawn dumplings. Definitely a crowd pleaser. :)

Any suburb must have a good Dumpling house, this establishment certainly delivered that aspect of successful multiculturalism in Australia.
We've ordered a few .... Dumplings are well made, well-cooked and skins is not too thin or thick.
Other main dishes too, the only order that wasn't right is the Spring Onion Pancakes, not seasoned, just plain jane boring, although well fried.
Nothing fancy with the presentation, but all well priced, good portion and just right.
It's quite a huge place, but make sure you book a table as it was full with patrons coming in and out, even on a rainy cold Saturday night.
Never thought there will be a Dumpling house in this part of Oakleigh. I guess Melbourne has evolved and still evolving since we've been here 30 years ago.

All season dumplings is a shop front store with simple tables and chairs, seating approximately 80 people. Jimmy the owner, is happy to please all cliental and offers a limited range of basic dumplings and other Asian dishes. I have been here many times with groups ranging from 30 to 50 people and each time have found the meals to be prepared well and offering a decent sized serve. The kitchen is small but pumps out the orders and the staff are friendly, cleaning up dishes and promptly serving the meals. For a place that offers a decent feed at a reasonable cost in Oakleigh , that not Italian , this is the place to go.

Went with a very large meet up group. I think that was a bit of a problem at first as the service was very slow, but once the most of the rest of the customers left, the food came out more regularly. We didn't order much individually as the group was so large but had a selection of what came out.
I have to agree with a previous reviewer. The dumplings are the best bit about the restaurant. Not surprising with it's name but very apparent when eating.
We started with Fried Wantons. I think they were chicken and they were really good. The casing part was crispy and yum while the filling was still soft and juicy! It was really good! The rest of the dumplings were similarly good, whether steamed or fried. We had a selection of various pork and chicken ones. There might have been other flavours but not in my area of the table. Then a serve of Chili Beef with fried rice and this was a disappointing. There wasn't anything specifically wrong with it, but it just wasn't as good as you can get other places. I managed to snag a pork bun from another part of the table but again, while tasty, I've had better.
But the dumplings. I would put them against others I've had. They were that good and flavourful. So my advice, go for dumplings, maybe get some veggies, but don't stray out of that part of the menu and a cheap and tasty dinner or lunch awaits!

I'm a meetup organiser, and our experiences here have been so good that people keep asking for another dinner here, please. So we are soon going to go for the fifth time, in less than a year.
The groups of people who want to go keep getting bigger, and for the third time now, we are having a combined dinner here with another meetup group.
I think that all of that speaks for itself. People are often very particular about their food likes and dislikes, and you can never please everybody. So, I must say, I rarely take notice of film critics and their ilk. To each their own !
So if you like Chinese food, especially with a Shanghainese tang (a little bit sweet, though there are other choices too), then you may wish to give this place a try. The host, Jimmy, is a wonderful person, knows how to cook all the dishes himself, and really tries hard to please.
I have personally been coming regularly to Jimmy's restaurant (and his previous one) for almost 5 years. I would describe myself as a careful eater, but not as fussy as those poor souls who can never be pleased.
I would recommend this restaurant as a good experience that is also great value for money.
The perfect inclusion to a heavily souvlaki popularised suburb. No wonder why it's survived for so long, cheap, quick and satisfying. Try the mai poy tofu always a winner.

I was lucky enough to join this special banquet hosted for two groups on Meetup. It was listed as an all-you-can-eat Dumpling dinner, so we arrived with empty stomachs. Because it was more of a banquet setting, I don’t actually know what the dishes were, and I struggled to take photos before the other diners dug in.
While the dumplings were really good, the main dishes did not live up to same standards. The first few dishes took some time to arrive but once they did, the rest came out pretty quick. Almost too quick because the dumplings were just piling up and the new dishes were just placed into any free space they could find.
Because we were hosted by one of the Meetup guys, I wasn’t sure who was actually employed. The restaurant was pretty busy (possibly because we had literally half the restaurant booked up) and so the noise level was quite loud. It was hard to chat to the person next to you, but I assume a normal day would be fine.
My rating of 4 out of 5 is for their dumplings only. I have tried other things on the menu and have been disappointed but the dumplings, asian greens (with oyster or garlic sauce) and the fried rice are seriously delicious! I eat the prawn and chicken dumplings (fried only) at least once a week because they're that good. Keep in mind I am no dumpling connoisseur. It is a little costly. A single serving of dumplings (10 small dumplings) is not enough to fill you up. You need to order rice and/or greens too, therefore you're looking at $25 per person, which I think is kind of expensive. I also wish they had online delivery - sometimes you just can't be bothered driving down and also there's no point eating in because there's no ambience in the place. I salivate every time I think of devouring their prawn and chicken dumplings. Mmmmm.
Cheap price! Three main dishes with dumplings only cost under 50! We ordered beef dumplings, large serving of sliced fish in hot spicy soup!

SURPRISED. Asian food in the middle of oakleigh.. you have to be good to survive here.
well guess what? Went here twice now, and had the dumplings and they were great! steamed or pan fried. chicken and prawn and the pork ones. very tasty. Just adding that i have now also tried the pan fried beef dumplings and they have to be the best i have had. Juicy and flavorsome. (keep in mind i don't normally like beef dumplings) look forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu. Also everything is so very reasonably priced! good to see a variety of cuisine in oakleigh other then Greek...and main thing is that its good!!!

Chinese broccoli is cooked perfectly! spring onion pancake is amazing! always crunchy and goes so well dipped in chili oil mixed with vinegar and soy! Mmmm. I'm Not much of a rice eater but my partner loves there fired rice. we come here at least once a week now. Cant resist.
Excellent food, average service and ambience. If you're after amazing dumplings and don't care too much about decor/ambience (the walls are unadorned and furnishing very basic) or service standards, you'll be very happy here.
We had an excellent meal of various steamed and fried dumplings (one in a chilli soup which I'd highly recommend), a chicken curry, and shredded duck. The duck wasn't great but everything else tasted superb.
However after taking our order, the waiter didn't come back to our table all night and we had to go up to the counter to order additional drinks.
Overall, this is a great place for a casual, filling meal with no frills.

A Very Good Dumpling Restaurant Nearby. Oakleigh is a good ten minute walk from my home. But that is not a problem at all, this Chinese restaurant is worth it.
The service is very good, the roomy space allows freedom, the food is delicious (the dumplings are at least) and cheap.
Let's start off with service. Any customer loves to be acknowledged by the waiter/waitress, and that certainly is present here. They serve you free tea and water (sometimes) which is a very good start. I mean, come on, who doesn't like free drinks? Meaning, paying for a Coca Cola or Solo is kind of not needed, besides, the cans are three dollars.
The roomy space makes it easy for everyone in the restaurant to move around without bumping into each other. It's nearly impossible to feel squished at any time, even when the place is packed. There is also a window you can look through where you'll see how your food is made. Smart choice. By the way, there are also napkins on the table. So just in case you feel embarrassed asking for stuff, you wont need to.
The food usually gets made and delivered to the customers very quickly when the restaurant is quiet or deserted, of course, when it is packed that is another story. But still fast nonetheless.
The food is nearly perfect, I have only ordered dumplings and chive cakes but both were delicious. Especially the dumplings. The dumplings were juicy, fresh, manageably hot and just very tasty. If you want a mouthful of chives (chive juices as well) and thin noodles, then I recommend the chive cakes.
Most items are reasonably cheap, with no real moments where I was like "f***, that looks expensive!"
All in all, I give this restaurant a good 9.5/10. It's not my favourite, as I know a restaurant that is even better than this one, but it is still very top-notch. Very good start for a recently established business that is more than one years old!
Great Food, Great Value, Quick Service. Really great place with terrific food. Fresh, tasty and quick. Place is a little sparse, but don't worry about that. We go there regularly and have never been disappointed.
We go here all the time and pretty much order the same 3 dishes on every occasion which are their pork dumplings, chinese brocolli with oyster sauce and their chicken ribs. Great value, tasty and always and reliable.
Great tastes, great value!. There is nothing fancy about this place, but the food is good wholesome fare, and it's great value. They are so quick too, I've been there a few times and I have never had to wait for more than a few minutes. So if you want something a little different from Oakleigh's famous Greek food, then turn the corner and here it is. The standard serve of dumplings is 18, that's pretty generous, and the complimentary tea accompanying the meal is surprisingly good too. The hardest bit is trying not to order too much.

Newly opened Restaurant around 5 months ago,best quantity and so far anything we tried was better than any other Chinese Restaurants in Melbourne ,very spacious,freshly cooked food,kids friendly .Special fried rice,Beef chilly special and roasted pork dumplings are my favorite so far.Chinese tea provided throughout the meal in a flask.Open for lunch and dinner.

Dined there Sunday night for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal of vegetarian dumplings, both fried and steamed, fried duck (albeit a little bland) and salt n pepper chicken ribs which were delightful. Whilst food was terrific the restaurant needs some bling factor or ambience to be created to take it to the next level. Will definitely go again and soon.. ....

Totally fantastic. We are addicted to this place and now come once a week for dumplings- we used to go to Eastern Dumpling House in Carnegie, but now there's no need to leave Oakleigh. The pork or beef pot-sticker dumplings are fantastic, as are the steamed chicken and prawn dumplings, and the wontons in chilli oil... Add a plate of green vegetables with oyster sauce and you'll be in heaven. It's just brilliant having somewhere as good as this for dumplings right in the heart of Oakleigh.
Awesome Place!. I cannot speak highly enough of this place! The dumplings are INCREDIBLE, as well as the rest of the menu. The place is clean and the staff and owners are super nice! The prices for the food are very reasonable and the service is very punctual. We have been quite a few times to this place and have not had a bad experience. In fact, it's been so good that we make it a weekly outing! Do try All Season's Dumpling Restaurant, it will make you happy! :D
Great! Except for...... Well priced, fantastic food, friendly staff are all the strong elements of All Seasons. For these alone I would return often. If they could fix the negatives however it would elevate it greatly. There is no atmosphere so not a venue for a couple but if you're there with a small group you'll get past it. Once the 5 of us had finished our meals, the plates weren't cleared nor were we offered any further choices, we certainly would have considered ordering more. Then when we went to pay, they allowed us to split the bill but had a $25 minimum on EFTPOS. Due to the meals being well priced, noone had spent that much. Overall, go for a 'feed' rather than a 'meal', take cash and you'll really enjoy it!

Value for money. Seems unusual for a Chinese restaurant to open in the heart of Oakleigh but atleast its something different from all the cafes in the area. Like every dumpling restaurant out there it really is a hit and miss, on some days they can be great then average on other days but it ultimately comes down to value for money, the food is relatively cheap for the portions you get yet tasty at the same time,the dining area is quite spacious, the service is abit slower from other experiences however friendly. overall its definitely worth a try or even frequent visits
The food is good the ambience zero. We really need a dumpling type restaurant in Oakleigh for variance but its too bright and no music so not much joy to come for dinner. It's an in and out place which is a shame because with some tweaking it could be fabulous .
We had a great experience today. We ordered pan fried pork dumplings, pan fried chicken and shrimps dumplings and the steamed Chinese broccoli.
Everything was fresh and delicious. The dumplings had lots of filling, the broccoli was seasoned nicely and the service was good.

This restaurant never disappoints! Whether eating in or taking away, the food is consistently full of flavour and fresh. The dumplings are packed with filling, and their incredible spring onion pancakes have become a family favourite. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, and staff are always so friendly and helpful.
Like the Singapore noodles, dumplings aren't too bad. Honey chicken not too bad. Somewhat variable each time we go, but that could also be dependent on how long the order sits there.
So cheap... I was surprised. But the food are not bad at all. Authentic Chinese cuisine.
