The old newspapers as a laminated table covering is a great idea. If the news were also readable, it would have been fantastic. The flying saucer news were the most fascinating article. Anyways, fish and chips was good. Cost of the food was ok. We got a lemon soda and a small Pepsi bottle for $9:30
Fish and chips are very good but steak sandwich was terrible compared to others I’ve had at other fish shops. Meat was as thick as a cardboard and couldn’t taste it and it was in a hamburger bun. I’ll get my fish from there but that’s it
Established in the early 1980s , still serving traditional fish and chips , fresh fish , on site cut chips not frozen. Costa and his wife along with there team always give 100% service and remember me .
Ordered a plain steak sandwich with very little steak in it most was bread bun, potato cakes were thin and slightly burnt, not nice, thrown in rubbish bin, however wife enjoyed the fish, overall expensive for what we received…. Mordialloc fish and chips are much better
