The staff was really nice and friendly. Huge space and got a parking as well. We ordered spicy prawn pasta and it tasted soooo nice!! Also their butterscotch and mocha were on point too 👌 The servings are quite big though.

WOW, thank you for a lovely night!! We celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The staff were so friendly & helpful and the meals were delicious and more than generous. We will definitely be back!!!!

Returned after 2 years and not disappointed at all.Staff are so super courteous, quantity is massive and tasty as well. Lazy Moe's never disappoints! Thank you guys....5 star for sure!!

Best customer service Experience ive ever had. This place makes you feel at home and the atmosphere is honestly a 10/10. The staff are super attentive, friendly and efficient. We are definitely coming here again and we will be brining family reinforcements. The meal sizes are excellent and you definitely feel satisfied after leaving here. Great Job!!!

Rob is a star! Great attitude even though it was a public holiday. It’s obvious he has a passion for customer service. Walking in the doors was a treat as we (My partner and I) were immediately met with aromas of frying bacon and charcoal from the grill. The most difficult part of our experience was ordering due to the huge range of foods available. From pub classics like a surf and turf to deconstructed Shish Kebab. Huge recommend. Aaron xx

I ordered a classic parma & it basically just came with cheese. I couldn't taste the napoli sauce at all, it was there just spread on so thin, & so much cheese. My son got a spider & good to know even from the kids menu it was an adult size. I was with my husband & two other adults, they were happy with their meals, but for me personally I wouldn't return. Also to note that they charge 50c per take away container. I'm actually not fussy with food, but this was below average for me, especially since a parma is so basic

This food is very mediocre and uses low quality ingredients. A step below pub food and at $30-40 for mains is just appalling. Yes the portions are massive but for the same price you can get much better quality and two portions at that.

Happy, friendly staff made dining here a pleasure. Beware the meals are gigantic. Dress code is maternity wear.

Great place but they have reduced the meat they dont put as much they use to still it ok drinks are little bit pricy they make you choose regular or large and the large its way to much, and the other thing about this restaurant they need to upgrade tables and chairs just to old.

This is a great place to be. Has an out door area to chill and dine. Huge portions to eat. Should try this Moe’s BBQ. They have a great cake range as well. I tried the Ferraro Rocher cake which was pretty amazing. High recommended. 👍🏻

Took my son for lunch and were looked after brilliantly by the owner Frank and his son Trent.<br/><br/>We had the Italian Parma and the Shaved Lamb burger.&nbsp; Both were fantastic in both portion size and taste.<br/><br/>Great family restaurant, or if you just want a really good value, decent feed!

Really good for families with children. Food was more about quantity over quality, chicken wings were very salty. Ribs were very bland covered in bbq sauce from the supermarket.

Been here a long time, and open very late which is great. Staff are very casual and friendly and the place is absolutely huge so can sometimes feel cold. The meals, however, are most generous, even bordering on huge and there is a heap to choose from!<br/><br/>Also available are ice creams in a cone on display at the front of the store which is an unusual, nice touch and you can leave the restaurant with your ice cream! Lazy Moe’s is open for breakfast till 4 and then right through dinner until 11 at night. There’s salads, mains, burgers, risottos, steaks, snacks, pastas and noodles for dinner.

A family friendly restaurants that serves up large portions and good value for money. It’s not fine dining by any means but they offer a good range of dishes to cater for different taste buds. I recommend the grilled fish, taco basket and the salmon risotto. The desserts in the cabinets are amazing and gain very generous portions. I love the tim tam cheesecake and the lemon meringue pie.

I was at the Oakleigh Lazy Moes with my parents last week. The portions where huge but,<br/>Beef Ribs had no flavor Eye Fillet Steak had no seasoning, not even salt, pepper The Moroccan Skewers where dry and bland All the salads where bitter and dry and had no dressing, not even balsamic vinegar<br/>The chips tasted like soil and where awful When asking the staff for water they replied with " theres a water cooler in the corner go and get it yourself "I will never step foot in this piece of rubbish ever again. You would be better of going anywhere else It's so sad to see what started as "Smokin' Joes" that was incredible, has now become this piece of garbage. There are at least 10 better places in Oakleigh, Eaton Mall area where the bill will be $30 cheaper than this and 50 times better.<br/>RIP Lazy Moes you are all nothing but LAZY!!!

Been here a few times with friends for the large portions of food. One dish here can feed me for breakfast , lunch and dinner for 3 days straight.  The savoury food is average but we love getting the giant pancakes here to share

Average food and below average ambience.. especially for the prices being charged avo smash was just smashed avo and few cherry tomatoes and feta cheese. Big breakfast was big but lacked taste or freshness. Kids pancake was good and huge. Not coming back again!

I had fish and chips. The chips were limp, the salad was boring and the tartare sauce was bland. Overpriced and tasteless. Will never go back again Our local fish and chips taste a million times better!

Outdated interior yet spacious. Portions are large and enough to fill two people. Chips are average and the lamb ribs are brushed with sauce. A layer of fat, meat is dry and tough as well as the skin is crispy. Friendly service but nothing flashy.

Just went here for a dinner and I left with quite amazing feast in the end. Nice Greek Chicken Parmagiana and nice Lemon Meringue Pie as well. And the waiter/ess staffs were friendly. Overall, I would recommend my friends and people to try out this place.

Don't go to Lazy Moe's expecting fine dining experiences, go there for a cheap, huge serving option that works well when you are not in the mood for anything fussy. The chef and wait staff are very helpful and willing to modify the food to your liking without charging extra so that's another huge plus.

Tasty food! Good portion sizes (value for money). Service is average. Expect food to come out a bit late than in a regular dinner. Overall enjoyable!!

Come prepared to be overwhelmed by the sheer size of the menu... and then by the size of the portions. Don't expect a Michelin star, just come expect to leave with a full tummy and all will be ok. Friendly staff... good quick service...

Known for their generously sized portions, Lazy Moe is a cool place to check out, too test out how big your appetite really is. Lots of different dishes to choose from as the menu options are extensive. The dishes are decent in quality and perfect for sharing. Great place to check out when you’re ravenous.

You can't expect more in a place like this. Cheap price, good size of food, big space and a variety of choices. Even the food is just average, it's still a good place to catch up with a group of meat lover friends. Strongly recommend the lamb with rice!

DO: The fish and chips, the parma or the ribs. It is what it says it is. If you're after cheap, huge, satisfactory meals - then this is the place. <br/><br/>DON'T: Forget the desserts. Once again huge in size, but you know, they're not that bad. We had the pancakes. <br/><br/>TIP: Turning left from Warragul road Southbound will cause accidents... make sure you indicate early. If you're coming from the South, then turning right is impossible. Do a U-turn when you get over the bridge.

If you're looking for tasteful decor and fancy food, this is not the place to go. If you're looking for hearty pub type food with a bustling atmosphere and generous portion sizes, this is the one. Great place for hungry men who eat like horses, or for a dessert or breakfast. Family friendly.

Sneakers – we’ve been here 3 or 4 times, Lazy Moes is another one of those interesting places that makes you ask why… Why such a huge menu? Why are the menus so filthy? Why aren’t they closed by now? Onto the food. The servings are quite large, the food’s not bad. Sometimes it can even be good, but it’s not great. The menu’s a literal clusterfuck of cuisines, it’s got everything, and it makes you question how they could possibly keep all these ingredients fresh and in stock; a large portion of this food has to be coming out of a freezer. The décor is pretty crazy. The service is friendly but it’s just not for us anymore – was good for a few visits.<br/><br/>Cassidy – the meals here are mammoth for what you pay. I suspect it’s probably popular with locals for a cheap eat close by. The menus every time we’ve been have had dried up food stuck to them, it’s pretty off-putting. Lousy food...sadly I feel that's all one expects when coming to Lazy Moes. Was my own fault for coming here thinking things may have changes over the years. I was wrong. Ridiculously large serving of tasteless food! Do your self a favour, save your money and time-dont bother!

Don't bother with this place. Service is horrendous and the food is of a really poor quality. I ended up with food poisoning. I won't be returning to this place in a hurry.

I recommend Lazy Moe's to those that would enjoy a casual homely good cooked meal or if you wake up in time for a scrumptious big breakfast, which would personally be one of my favourites. You'll definitely be satisfied with the portion sizes as it is more than enough for one person and you can share a main between two if you please. As for the tastefulness of the food, I have noticed that they have lacked flavour and presentation since the last time a few friends and I visited which was unfortunate. It was at an 'ok' standard rather than a 'excellent' compared to the last time we came in for lunch, but breakfast is an exception. Nevertheless, the staff was welcoming and informative throughout attending to our requests which was good to see. And the overall setting of the restaurant is spacious and vibrant which was easy on the eyes while enjoying a meal with friends and family.

Came here only for a flat white and a chocolate cake. No real issues with the coffee and cake were both pleasant. I'm not sure I would come here based on some reviews but I should probably give it a chance.

Don't know why but I had felt like going to eat at Lazy Moe's after not having been back for a few years. Service had never been an issue for me.<br/><br/>I remember having a nice filling pasta dish here last time but after ordering it again, it didn't taste as good as it used to. Or maybe I have just eaten much better things since. My friends ordered a big meat and ribs dish that all of us couldn't finish. But the odd thing was that on top of all that meat was a single piece of salad (refer to picture). To this very day, I cannot for the life of me figure out why that leaf was there for. But anyhow I probably won't be back for awhile if anything.

Can't even give it a rating, large portions of crap food. Rude menu, first time I've seen terms and conditions for eating at a restaurant, after getting a large plate of rubbish I realised why.

Lazy Moes was quite naturally perfect; it was a work of art. Flawless. Sublime. A triumph equalled only by its monumental failure. <br/>One out of five.

Cheap but not so cheerful. Good is you don't mind volume with little food quality. If you order a side of love with your meal you won't find it here

Great service and good food. We love going to Moes. It has large servings, plenty to choose from and very fast service. Some dishes are better than others but it's great value and open late. A good choice when you just want a casual meal.

I am most perplexed with the negative comments of Lazy Moes I have just been reading.<br/><br/>We ordered the tziziki & pita followed by the paella for dinner.<br/><br/>The service was lovely and consistent and the food was exceptionally good.<br/><br/>I would recommend the venue & food to both family & friends.

First time visitor. Before going here half my friends said its bad, and half said its good. and didn't get good results in urban spoon. But i am the type of person to try a place regardless of reviews. and i was not regretful at all. we went to the Oakleigh resturant around 4pm and it was great. we had the bbq mixed selection and the chips were very crisp and tasty, eggs cooked perfectly. the tastiest for us was the lamb slices. the service was fast and good so i dont know why some people are saying that the staff are rude. maybe just caught them on a bad day but they were friendly to us and met our expectations.<br/><br/>we both paid $26 each. and got alot of value for it. So i recommend everyone to try this place at least once. and definately come here if you like american style food or just feel like a nice steak and want some good hearty food.<br/><br/>thumbs up!

I definitely recommend here for a casual meal and if you wake up earlier then I do, do try the big breakfast - indeed the perfect way to enjoy a brunch with loved ones.

Lazy Moes to sum up is a quantity not quality restaurant. That being said meals are cheap and are pretty good for price. Everyone enjoyed there meal today. Fun place. I'll be back again

Place is a dump. I've been coming here for years, but for the last couple of months the food has been horrible, I'm sure they never change the oil they fry the food in, and the water tastes like they got it from a toilet, considering they make u wait so long for the food disgraceful

I ordered calamari, the chips were disgusting, and the salad undressed, service wasn't great, won't be coming back again.

Food not even acceptable for a dog. Wouldn't even feed the food they serve to my dog. I don't understand how this place is still open

Don't eat the pippies. Used to be a regular for the parmas, but after trying some other items on the menu we definitely won't be going back. Ordered pippies in a white wine sauce...it tasted like it was made with seawater and every time I bit down there was a crunch as if it was full of sand! Complained to the waiter who took it away and insisted there was nothing wrong with it, he still charged us..even though I'd only eaten a couple bites - terrible - won't ever go back again.

Joke of a Restaurant. I honestly cannot believe this place is still open. The food is definitely below average, and the service and management appauling. I cannot actually believe how rude the manager is to his customers. With so many fantastic restaurants only a stones throw away in the heart of Oakleigh, I cannot understand why anyone would choose to dine here.

Me and my wife just ate here for the first and last time i have never eaten food this disgusting im my life and when we left our plates were still full i told the waiter and his responce was we are not a fancy restraunt well that about sums it up

Waited an hour, when asked the manager what with the wait he told me what's the name of our restaurant we are all lazy.. Picked myself and family up and left.

An experience. Wow. Where do i start? Ok, well first thing is reading the menu. This place is laughable. They don't care for customer service, and they even write it on the menu! So i figured, with an attitude like that - the food must be good right? Wrong. It comes out looking alright - massive plates, but the food is bland and tasteless. The ribs weren't bad, but the chicken wings were just deep fried with no flavor at all. The chicken parmy was about 3/4 batter, 1/4 chicken and tasted like tomato paste with cheese on top. Salad was also tasteless. Took over an hour to get our food, while we sat and waited on a rickety table. I don't get how this place is still in business? Save your time and money and go to someone who actually wants your business.

Too damn huge. Part of the charm of this place is how insanely large the portions are. So big they must warn you before you eat.<br/>The food wasn't great, and nor is the atmosphere, but all around it's a great place to go if you want a big feed really cheap.<br/><br/>Would I recommend it? Yes.

Worst Experience Ever. I went to Lazy Moes for breakfast with a few friends one Sunday morning and I wish I never had. The food itself is pretty basic, nothing special just big portions for cheap prices. The manager/owner however, was nothing but an uncivilized, manner-less, arrogant man. Not only is he rude to his PAYING customers, but he is disgusting to his staff. I was more than embarrassed and awkward to sit an empty restaurant and hear him go off at a waiter that had been nothing but pleasant to us. This guy is just a joke and his restaurant just sad.

Before i even go there. Visiting the website was enough for me. i think they have forgotten that their business relies on paying customers to remain in business. So when you introduce your business on the front page and tell me condescendingly 'do you understand? we don't split bills?' and then proceed to rattle off in a number of other languages to make sure every 'idiot' coming to your website is clear on your point it kinda rubs me the wrong way. THEN you tell us, 'this is your home'....therefore, sit where we say, don't move the chairs etc etc, I can't be bothered to rattle off every asinine comment, even though I would have been a PAYING customer. Anyway, a friend went there today, so I decided to look you up. So relieved I saved myself a few dollars and a trip to 'your home'.....fatuous and woeful as it would have been. Perhaps you should sell cars?

Lazy moes oakleigh ... This is the worst place I have ever been to. Found an elastic band in the side sauce I had for my steak ! Nearly swallowed it and I am 8 months pregnant also no one came to apologize or offer me anything te chefs even came out and looked at us like we were the bad ones and they still made us pay!!!! needs to be shut down I am so pissed off with the service and the lack of care never again

Went to lazy Moe's in Tullamarine and ordered a club sandwich. Received a club sandwich with a packet of smiths chips on the plate instead of hot chips found that to be strange. Went back again (big mistake) and order the Chicago spud. It was probably the worst thing I have eaten in years! Had 2 bites and threw it away. It's a pity because the food used to be good a couple of years ago!

Big portions, small prices. Been to Lazy Moes many times now, love the staff who are always friendly. The pumpkin and feta risotto is amazinggg! The parma is huge but one of the best ive had and the ribs and chicken wings are pretty good too. Portions are pretty big and i usually share however i have seen more then a few people down the parma, depends on your appetite! Prices are good for the size, would definitely recommend for a hearty feed.

Friendly staff.. I used to take naps in their carpark in my lunch break, as I didn't want to be disturbed anywhere else. Their friendly staff never interrupted my slumber-sessions and many pleasant power-naps were enjoyed as a result.

Casual but enjoyable. My family and I often eat here and have always enjoyed both the food and the service. The amount of food is more than generous, but they are fine with you ordering one meal between two people. (same goes for desserts). The biggest plus is that you can have lunch at 10.30am or dinner at 4pm. The kitchen is always open, unlike most restaurants and pubs.

Food was average, large portions. Had a good time. I spelt a drink by accident and they were more then happy to clean it up as well give me a free drink for no extra charge.

The owner had the worst customer service attitude I have ever had the displeasure to be witness of. After sending back a meal of burnt food, he then stood and argued upon paying that we had to pay for the meal regardless and it was our fault we did not choose another meal.<br/>When we tried to explain the situation he threatened to call the police. <br/>He went on about how he owns 7 Lazy Moes and has been in customer service<br/>for 14 yrs yet his attitude and basic skills did not reflect this.<br/><br/>Avoid this place at all cost. They say lazy moes is a family restaurant... What a crock. Sure they have high chairs but NO CHANGE TABLE! My husband and I and to change our daughter on the floor of the disabled toilets. What a joke. Even some non kid friendly places have change tables. Food is good value for money and wanted to go back to try other things but will not.

Awful! Chicken caesar salad drowned in dressing and chicken covered in honey mustard dressing .. Both mixed today was disgusting. I often order chicken Caesar salad when I am out to eat and this was the worse. I have only complained about food twice before and when I did the manager was rude and when I asked not to pay he just simply walked away from the table. Wont be back there in a hurry

Good place. Serving sizes massive so bring ur appetite. Would advise against ordering entrees unless u want to waste half your main. I usually get the pasta, or the chicken salads, both of which are quite good. Coffee and milkshakes great as well. Can get a bit annoying when u sit outside to enjoy the sunshine and people light up around u. Service is average, but one lady is great.

Love Moe's. We have eaten here many times.... fantastic for those with huge appetites ! My only small complaint is that every time we have ordered pancakes... they have been burnt underneath. Other than that .... A great, relaxing place to spend a Sunday lunch. Try the Ribs !!!

Leave your bad mood at the door. READ THE ENTIRE MENU! Its hilarious. Only come to Moes if you're STARVING! Try the long island ice tea but don't drive afterwards. Servings are massive and quality. Give moes a shot.

This is one of the better Lazy Moes restaurants. Meals are large. Service is poor but I love the chicken main!
