Review Subway - Oakleigh

Should have given zero if I had a choice. There is no fixed opening or closing times. Don't rely on Google. This has happened with me at least 5 times now. The sign says it's open, but door locked at time 5:19 p.m. Can't expect worse.

This place is going downhill. After coming here for the past 7 or so months the quality and service has continued to decline steadily. To echo other reviews, the standard in hygiene and food quality is poor and the customer service is trash. I went in to get subs today with my friend and the buffalo chicken tasted awful and potentially spoiled, the pork was really dry, the lettuce was limp and browning. There was so many new staff members who had no idea what they were doing and inadequately made our sandwiches. Then when the store person asked if we want salt and pepper, they absolutely covered our sub’s in salt to the point where it was inedible but we had left the shop to eat at home by that stage. Our cookies were pretty much tasteless which we were hoping to be our saving grace after the awful tasting, salty, subs we had been given. I do not recommend.

Be careful you don't get scammed here! Total for 2 subs came to $23.50 Paid in cash $53.50 Only to have the young girl try and give us $23 change when trying to explain that the change was incorrect she told us "I know what I'm doing" Took another employee to come and re enter the sale into the till to show her that the correct change should have been $30 The young girl then proceed to try and give us $20 in change until I pointed it out AGAIN Note: she did apologies the second time around After 15 mins of stuffing around finally left with our lunch and the correct change Will never go here again

Bought 2 footlond chicken fillet on malted rye and both breads were so stale, and inedible. Store assistant hesitated when he grabbed the rolls but still sold it to us. No standards whatsoever. Bench was dirty with two flies landing on all the food. Avocado was so black and old, lettuce was brown, and 4th time that cookies are so stale , we had to throw them out! Lowest standards of anywhere we've ever been. Do not recomend!

This was the second time I have visited this Subway ( Last time was not a pleasant experience and neither was this time.) The staff are rude /abrupt and rush you to decide your fillings, and basically shouting at you at every filling is extra????? A basic wrap (minimal fillings ) and small water $14 Also the shop looks unkempt, rather grotty I wont go back

Rudest customer service ever! Always have trouble getting the correct price for my order! The woman doesn’t even want to tell me her name when I mentioned I am going to make a formal complaint! The manager was also covering for her and thought for 5 second and gave me a name “Venessa” yeah I bet you know who I am now. I just want to say people don’t deserve to pay more than we should even if we can afford Gucci and Valentino bags! Thanks!

One of the worse Subways in Melbourne. The portion of the ingredients too small. No lettuce option! Only lettuce mixed with cabbage.

It gets the job done. Filling quantities vary based on who serves you. Service is pretty ordinary but not terrible.
