Went with a group of 8 and we ordered 2 banquets which was enough food for all of us. The entree was Chicken and Corn Soup which was good. Then the mains came out, an array of different meals and enough fried rice for all. We had Banana Fritters and Icecream Sundaes for desert. I loved the lazy susan in the middle of the table which made eating and sharing the banquet meals so much easier and enjoyable. I also liked the idea of having the buzzer button to press on each table if you needed service. Food was beautiful, price was good and service was fantastic. Will definetely be back :)
Genuine 1980s classic Chinese restaurant decor with great views and really good classic Chinese meals. Very friendly service and the buzzers to ask for service are awesome. We loved it!
Great food so tasty and the young man on the phone was so nice it was actually a pleasure speaking to him. 10/10 would chat all day, i think his name was Jilian if so give him a promotion he deserves it. Thank you for some amazing asian food ill be back soon for some sushi. 10/10
Lovely spot that clearly has a loyal local clientele base and very family friendly. Genuinely good Cantonese-centric food at reasonable prices. We had the beef with black bean sauce and sweet and sour fish - the latter was perhaps the best we've ever had and wouldn't be out of place in a much more expensive restaurant!
First time in ocean grove , Was recommended by local and they were right . Beautiful meal and excellent service satay was best we ever have best view in ocean grove , will be back 100%
Food was basically exactly what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant catering to a small tourist town. Has a great view to enjoy while your eating in. Will definitely be back.

Step back in time.. Step back to the 80's and do not expect to much and you will have a wonderful dining experience. Lemon chicken, honey chicken - deep fried and juicy. Service is great and the view beautiful.
Fairly decent Chinese food..... Delicious entrees, scrumptious mains & yummy desserts. Staff were very friendly and attentive......but based on previous reviews, we were expecting something different. The restaurant was absolutely packed when we arrived and we were accommodated quickly, even though we didn't have a booking. Highly recommend Mings..... One of the best restaurants in Ocean Grove!
Gayle. Food is always good and quick to the table once ordered. If you need service, they have a device on the table where you press a button and someone will be with you quickly.

We ordered take away the service was prompt. The chicken sweet corn soup,mongolian beef, special fried rice and dim sims were just beautiful. The best Chinese we've had in years. Highly recommended.

It is truly the best chinese restaurant in Ocean Grove. All their food has the most amazing wok ,smoked flavour especially their fried rice . 10/10 customer service is exceptional.
Accomodating. Have fussy kids, this staff makes an effort and keeps an easy smile on their face. Good food, simple not spectacular, and a lovely view.
Unexpected. They understood gluteen free, meal was very nice, about a 7 and a half out of 10. Girlfriend loved the banana fritter, I liked the galic prawns and the special combination.

The best tasting wontons I've ever had. The special fried rice was very tasty and they also offer a vegetable only option.
Also try the Thai across road for a change!. Even on a busy night they always seems to find a table... better to book though , coz it often busy at the weekend. Food is about 7/10. UPDATE: Price rices again this year summer 2010/11 put this in the $100+ for a family of four before drinks...ORDER WISLEY

The best Chinese food in the world! Food is always fantastic, sweet corn soup is to die for. Melissa and the staff are always friendly and the service exellent! My wife and I think this is the best restaurant in the Geelong area!
