Had dinner at Sai Thai tonight with friends. The food was fabulous!!! Portion size perfect and the taste and spice were divine. Lovely atmosphere, can't wait to go again.

Amazing Authentic Thai food with great service. Every time we went there, it was a great experience. Owners are very nice people. The only problem is wait time is bit longer almost always. If you are planning to go there make sure you reserve a table.

. The menu might not be huge, but what is on the menu is cooked to perfection and is authentic Thai.
Outstanding food. The best Thai I have ever eaten and hard to believe it can be found in the beautiful sleepy town of Old Bar! Delicious options for vegetarians/pescatarians with only the freshest and finest ingredients used. Food is beautifully presented and the staff are attentive and friendly. These Melbourne foodies will be back!
Fantastic food. Not your usual cookie-cutter Thai you get from most Thai restaurants and takeaways. Original dishes, considered flavours and fresh ingredients. And run by a friendly Thai couple who bring authentic recipes from not only Thailand, but the region they're from. A real hidden gem - an unexpected find in a quiet regional town!
I would call this place a hidden gem in Old Bar. It has simple and neat interior. The menu has the all the favourites as well as something special. Staff were friendly and sevice was good. My problem was the small table. It was very tight for two mains, rice and two small plates for two people. The dishes were refreshing and flavourful.
Thai food beyond anything you've tried!!. I used to live here & miss this food more & more. Most other Thai is like fast food in comparison. It's unique, tasty & humble. The flavour combinations ensure that you want to try every dish & dessert. Worth booking a table as the locals have it Sussed.

Great contrast of complex flavours, with speedy and attentive service in a space with a genuine buzz.
Entrees of chicken satay and curry puffs both solid. Silken tofu ok, but accompanying syrupy sauce quite something.
But the mains are where the magic happens. BBQ pork absolutely outstanding, hot beef salad and chicken with cashew nut both tops. Beef massaman tasty and tender but a little fatty.
Rice replenished regularly, and really cool array of teas, both traditional and iced teas.
Great place. Highly recommended.
Incredibly authentic Thai in a small town. What a surprise! Be sure to book. It's very busy and there isn't much seating. We'd love to be back in Old Bar just to dine here again
Consistently great Thai food. Always tastes fresh and some dishes have a good amount of chilli which is delicious. Staff always friendly. Nice atmosphere sitting outside and BYO from the bottle shop over the road.
We stay in Old Bar for a week each year in May and we basically eat here every night and not get 'Thai'd out' ! We have almost worked through the whole menu. Meals are exceptional, great flavours and cooked to perfection. Stand out dishes for us, Chu Chee Salmon, Panang Beef Rib Curry and Chicken Cashew Nut. This place is an asset to this little village.
