OMG this is the place. This is the place. The eternal place for homely food, Beautiful coffee and fantastic service. It's always nice to hear staff laughing and seeing comforting smiles on their faces. You want to go back for more. Which I will be.
Great local cafe. Reliably delicious food and coffee. Attentive service and friendly staff. A favourite of ours.
Quirky little retro cafe and the staff are lovely. My mum said her cup of tea was good, i think because she loved drinking out of a beautiful old china cup. Oh, and good food and relaxed atmosphere.
Awsum coffee and friendly service!
Really cute cafe we stumbled upon in Olinda. Very generous serving sizes (we got the big breakfasts and chicken focaccia) and delicious. The chicken focaccia had lots of roast veggies in it too. Staff were all very friendly and I heard the young lady at the cashier asking for a local customers’ name, so she could address him by name next time. So sweet of her!
The cafe has a very homey vibe to it which we also loved.
Will pop by next time we are in town :)
I chose the 'Savoury Muffin, served warm with butter ($6.50)'. The muffin was moist with a delicious flavour. We shared a slice of ‘Lemon, Lime and. Pear Tart ($7.00)’.
You can't go wrong here. Delicious and affordable breakfasts and lunches, and the best coffee in the area. Even the cakes are incredible. Eat and drink all of the things.
Not a bad little cafe in Olinda, with a fairly extensive menu with several vegetarian items. The decor is modern and interesting, including an object that appears to be a cross between an espresso machine and a dalek (let's hope it extracts rather than exterminates). There is a terrace area out front for dining in good weather. When I last visited I had their mushrooms on toast, which was good, but I feel the serving size might had been a bit more generous, as it was not overly filling. The coffee there is very good, and the service is friendly and attentive.
Discovered this great cafe by accident while searching for a car park on a Sunday afternoon. Lovely eclectic retro style. Had the Canadian pancakes with bacon maple syrup and butter yummy! !!! . I'm a bit of a coffee snob and roast my own coffee so I've learned not to expect to much when I go out. Really pleasantly surprised. The owner is very particular about her coffee uses freshly roasted coffee keeps her machine clean and obviously knows how to use it. Staff were all very attentive .My companions also enjoyed their meals and drinks. This place is a solid 4.5 Will definitely be back.
Popped in for breakfast on the weekend and it was absolutely fabulous. Beautiful coffee, great staff and a lively little place. The place was pumping so bit of a wait for food but the friendly staff told us there was going to be a wait. It was worth it!! Croque Madame - yum, and my partner had the big breakfast. It was exactly as described! Looking forward to going back to this little cafe.
Very nice little cafe in the quite area of Olinda. Had a light lunch here, menu is basic, coffee every good and hot and the food is fresh, well presented and a good amount. Love the 1960's tables and chairs, adds to a quirky decor. Service was very good, although it was very quiet. Overall a nice place to visit to eat or just have a coffee and cake.
Without doubt the best coffee on the mountain. This quirky slightly retro gem serves true home made food, great great coffee in a relaxed friendly atmosphere with lovely helpful staff where nothing is a problem. Great food, great coffee. Highly recommend!!
Diana. Wow!! that is what we both commented when we walked inside here & saw the historic coffee machine in all it's glory! Actually it is a remake of the original & I have only ever seen one of those in Kinscliffe. Anyway it produces great coffee (with the baristas help of course!!)
My favorite cafe in the hills
Great coffee. Friendly, comfortable cafe with great coffee and the breakfasts are fantastic.
If you want to just chill out, then this is the place.
