Review Nile Street Cafe - Orange

This place is worth the walk out of town - simply excellent breaky spot. Great ambience, and really good coffee. Menu is full of good choices you don’t see everywhere. Halloumi and wild mushroom bruschetta comes highly recommended.

Went here last night (13/4/22) for a function, for the first time. The finger food was amazing. The service was incredible. The staff were absolutely fabulous. A real credit to the cafe. They were very attentive, very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. I'll definitely be going back again.

Burgers were good. I liked the asian slaw in sticky chicken burger and sweet potatoes were fresh and crispy. I was enjoying eating chips until a waitress came and took our plates.. little offended to be honest. She probly wanted to go home earlier..?

Nice menu, great coffee, outdoor area would suit bringing your dog. It's was really busy on the Saturday we arrived and raining, but the staff did well to serve and clean tables. The meals were on the smaller side.

Took a gamble and found an exciting cafe off the main street. Hub blend coffee so good it barely needed sugar or milk, the double egg and bacon roll was very satisfying and delicious, found our future our cafe for return trips to Orange.

Been there twice when I travelled on holiday. Normally the cafe in the town is packed. Just drive out from the town a bit further. The food is fantastic delicious. The staff is great! I like the breakfast box. Their coffee is the best in Orange would say.

**Update** Hi Kathryn Mohun, Thanks for your response below and sending an email to my WORK place, complaining me for making a personal review on google. I believe I have a right to make an honest review for the experience I got. I don't think it is against the spirit of the event -?? like you mentioned in the email. However just in case, I removed the event name from my original review, thanks for the warning. I only make reviews when I received really shocking experiences. The small portion was the minimal problem for me, but very COLD Sticky chicken was not tasty, then SANDY Asian Slow was so hard to chew/swallow. Sorry, but it was a very sad-moment of mine at the night, for my personal dinner break, which I was really looking forward to as always as at the event. The event itself was great, I thought. It was busy but great atmosphere. I believe locals and visitors were happy with full of tasty foods and drinks. ** Update end, 6/4/22 ** Sorry, but I was very disappointed with the food I purchased from your stall at an event. I ordered "Sticky Chicken with Local Greens Asian Slow & Cashews". My serving was very small compair to the serving which I saw on a preparation-table at my ordering time. My portion was well under the top of the serving paper bowl with only 5 small COLD sticky chicken pieces. Asian Slow was sandy, so I couldn't finish it. I would complained if I wasn't working at the night in another local stall. Sadly I cannot recommend your cafe to our guests anymore. The desserts were good though.

Definitely loved this cafe. We had the breakfast bowl, (cipur? Dukkah) eggs, and the special (pasta). Both excellent sizes and taste! Coffee was great too! The lady who served us was very friendly and polite, we didn’t catch her name but she definitely made our experience great.

Mother's Day brunch with my lovely sister-in-law was absolutely beautiful. The place was packed but staff remained friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our food was exceptional, and I thoroughly recommend Simply Nile Cafe as the place you go.

This was probably the most delicious meal I have had in Orange in a very long time. The four course were thoughfully put together with an amazing fusion of delicate flavors in all the dishes, not too big, well spaced, awesome customer service, delicious desert to round off the 4 courses and you get to take your favourite wine with you ...loved it! We shall return - soon!

Went with a friend for brunch yesterday. ....what great coffee to start with then the food came, which was from a very creative menu, and it was also very tasty. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Cafe.

Had breakfast and coffee here, would have taken a photo of the food if we didn't inhale it so quickly! Amazing food, amazing service, if I wasn't so full I'd order again! Love is the best description x

Very nice cafe with good food and service. A changing menu keeps things interesting and it's always fresh. It is pricey for what it is but still nice to go every now and then to remind yourself why you like it

Great country hospitality, nice quiet location with garden courtyard, super coffee. I had their version of a big breakfast which was solid without being spectacular. Recommend it.

Sometimes Unfriendly Service. The food here is generally fine but I have had some unfriendly wait people. On several occasions. This has put me off continuing to go to Simply Nile, when I otherwise thought it was a nicely set out cafe, with quite good food (sometimes overpriced I think).

There is an exception. There is a boy who works there (must be the son of the owner perhaps), and he has always been very helpful and welcoming.
