Doing my best to make my way through there extensive beer list, the food has been top quality. The music, the 4 TVs playing sport and the general awesome ambiance has made this a favourite place for me.

Thank you so much for your terrific, unique menu, and including a wide range of V and GF food on it. Fresh and delicious! The stuffed squid and the pea risotto were standouts not to mention the pork belly skewers. We will be back 👍

Great place for delicious lunch. We ordered Georgie Porgie Pie, Grilled Barramundi & White Bait with garlic & aoli dipping sauce. Brought with friendly service & washed down with a rich local shiraz. Enjoyed the open window which allowed a gentle cooling breeze to fan us. We will definitely go again & again!

Local craft beers (Pioneer, Badlands and Borenore) feature in this updated country pub. Classic menu items of schnitty, bangers and burgers sit alongside more upmarket fare such as carameliswd cauliflower risotto, and baked salmon. Friendly staff and great service.

Since the lockdown lifted and we are allowed to travel I decided not I go for a drive out to Orange Wine Country. We visited a great cellar door and when we finished we headed in to town for a look around and an early dinner. After cruising around the streets we found The Lord Anson Public House. It’s a great pub, really nice vibe and the staff were really nice. We ordered a couple of share plates and the food was delicious, apologies I didn’t get any photos. The wine list was small but great, supporting the local wine producers. I’m looking forward to heading back again soon 🥂

I like the layout of this pub. The big front bar area is good for groups, but you can also find a nice hideaway spot in one of the nooks off to the side of the main area. The fire places they have going in the little rooms make the place super cosy on cold nights. They have a bistro too. I didn't try the food but the meals looked massive, so there's that. They have plenty of good beers on tap and pools tables too.

I love this pub! I've been to the Lord Anson for lunch and a quiet drink with friends and each time its been great! The food is good honest pub fare and the selection of beers is amazing. If you like your craft beer, this is probably the pick of the pubs in Orange. Its often quiet inside with a sensible clientelle.

My party of 64 friends was well catered for at eight tables of eight. Nice white tablecloths and matching chairs lent charm to a joyous occasion. Assistance available to elderly diners on stairs and plenty of 2 hour parking. Meals superp for good price with friendly service. Will definately try again. Pre-luncheon drinks on verandah very pleasant.
