Booked for 12, only 8 turned up. No problems for them, even though it was a busy Saturday night. Large beer garden with easy to view TVs (Australian Open was on) with tables and cubicles. Great kids fenced playground. Food was well cooked with sensible servings on the larger side without being ridic
Went for lunch yesterday with my wife and two primary school children.
Loved the lay out & decor, atmosphere was great, not too close to other patrons, the beer garden/alfresco dining area was clean, loved the huge tv & children loved the playground.

We have had lunch here several times and have always been satisfied with the meals (we generally select from the specials board) at lunch, however may select from menu next time because there are many good offerings.

This is an amazing family friendly pub serving really good and generous meals. Quick and friendly service. Huge amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Kids had a great time in the playground too. Definitely would be back.
I am not a pub/tavern person so I was very impressed with The Ophir. Great little playground for my 3 yr old. My only grizzle was parents in the cabanas allowing thier feral kids to free range in the playground which made my Daughter uncomfortable. Lunch was very nice and worth the price I paid. Hot
Good food served quickly but the early kitchen closing on busy nights had me a bit stumped.
Because the kitchen closes at 8:30pm on Saturday nights there is a rush to order around 8pm and we queued for more than half an hour to get our order in.

This place is amazing .. it’s modern, upbeat yet so relaxing. The playground is the best in NSW I’ve ever seen for kids. The food portions are big, never had a bad meal there. It’s a must stop when we visit Orange.
