Orbost Club Hotel - Orbost - Photo album

Our stay was terrible, it all appeared very nice online, the bar lady checked us in, nice and friendly but the room was freezing cold, and smelt extremely musty, we had to open the window to let in fresh air for the mustiness. The common room/lounge had open packets of food on a table in the corner
4 stars was for the apple crumble beautiful. Had steak on mash and a few bits of caulie and 🥦 Took 2 bites out of the steak and that was enough for me ,tough chewy and bleeding and honestly I don't think it was porterhouse bloody horrible.
Tim Behan, Publican made us so welcome as did the patrons. We actually stayed 2 nights in our self contained caravan at the back of the hotel. We had a meal and drinks at the bar. The chicken snitzel was delicious. We enjoyed our stay immensely and met not only Tim but Kym, Dave and the Fiery (apo
A last minute bungle meant we had to find a dog friendly hotel in the area and the Orbost Club Hotel came to the rescue. Clean, comfy, reasonably priced and a friendly atmosphere thanks to Tim the publican.
Hotel was a bit old fashioned but meals were very nice. Plenty of people in the bar, not many in the bistro but it was Monday when we were there.
Nice big servings, fast service, friendly barman. What more could you want
I had the lambs fry,had trouble finding the bacon bits floating in the runny mashed potatoes. After 3 months travelling this is the most disgusting meal I have ever eaten. Wanted a table away from others due to covid but even that was hard to get, only 4 tables were being used. Came here cpl yrs ago
Dropped in on our way past and SO glad we did. Staff (especially what appeared to be the publican) were so accommodating. Vegan burger was amazing!! So much to love about this pub. Good old fashioned pub. Affordable beer and good food! We’ll be back!
