Review Red Rooster - Ormond

Red rooter have definitely upped their game, no complaints after getting the BBQ box. Burger was fresh and tasty, fried chicken was crispy and flavourful and even the chips were seasoned perfectly. Awesome feed 👍

Red Rooster's new fried chicken is surprisingly good. I enjoyed it more than KFC's Original Recipe; it was crispier and more tender & flavoursome. I would definitely visit Red Rooster more often if they had more deals (similar to KFC's) and their CBD stores accepted Red Royalty.

Rooster Roll was just O.K, I've had much worse from other stores, also better rolls from this Rooter. Chips were better than KFC & Maccas easily. Crunchy, thick, cooked properly and seemed fresh.

The worst service. It’s better to close the front counter and only serve drive through. Don’t even pack the orders after they are ready.

8 minutes wait at order speaker to order a meal. Them 10 minutes wait in line to receive order Through drive through. Never again. We shouldn't have to wait 8 minutes to order at the drive through speaker , when there is cars moving ahead of us. Then 10 minutes to get food. Absolutely disgusting. 4th of March 2022.

Came here for a quick dinner. The food did take some time to be made but with the wait. The bacon mama burger was delicious and the chicken was juicy and fresh. The chips where also hot which you barely find in fast food restaurants.

We had a strange encounter with Michelle at the Ormond Vic store recently. I went through drive through and asked the guy if the chips were golden and crispy. He confidently said yes and based on that we ordered $37 worth of food. Got home 5 minutes later to find he lied about the chip quality. We were all annoyed because my sister worked there for years and when she cooked the chips they were the best...like Red Rooster chips always should be but aren't...hence why I asked about them 1st. I rang straight away and said we weren't happy with them and Michelle got quite defensive and assured me...well, they were golden and crispy when they left here...I cooked them!! I said my sister worked there for years so we know what they should be like. She said she didn't know what I expected from her because they were perfect. 🤣 Hoping she's not a manager but wow. So unprofessional

It was the first time I'd been back to Red rooster in a while. And I remember besides their chips, I don't really like it, especially their chicken, not nearly as good as KFC
