Best pies in Perth period!! The pastry is golden and the meats used are cooked to perfection. My favorites are the chicken and veggie and the good old beef meat pie
The lady who served us was really friendly and kept smiling. Their sausage rolls are soo good!! Better than the one in the city which tasted weird to me! I'm definitely coming back here for my sausage rolls! :)

I first came to Golden Bakery in 2011 when I would regularly buy my lunch there. Today in 2017 I revisited. Golden has collected a string of trophies for pastries over the past 8 years and they are still collecting them. The shop has an excellent display of their whole range of pastries, both hot and cold. The service has always been good and friendly as it was again today.
My favourite pastry is the meat and vegetable Cornish pasty, good examples of which are hard to find especially outside of South Australia.
Today I had a pasty for breakfast, a plain meat pie for lunch and a cheese and bacon sausage roll for dinner!!!
The pasty was the best I have had in WA. There may be other good ones but I haven't found them yet. Golden medium weight flaky pastry with a genuine Cornish pasty filling.The pie had the same golden pastry and a dark dense coarsely minced beef filling with just enough tasty gravy. This was their competition winner but still available every day.The bacon sausage roll wasn't my favourite as the filling was a bit stodgy with maybe too much bread content.
The shop does a complete range of lunch items such as made to order sandwiches, salads and Vietnamese rice paper rolls. There is some outdoor seating.
The sweet pastries look ok but I haven't sampled many.
One more thing. Many reviewers here have given a good review but then rated the place at only 3 or 3.5. Why? As a bakery this place does very well and I have given them 4.5.
Good pies here. Regularly visit to buy cold pies to take home. Easy place to stop from the main road. Opens early. Good selection of pastries. Yummy food.

Best pies, pasties and sausage rolls in Perth by far. I have been going to this bakery for the past 6years .They can prove it by all there awards on display. This chain of bakeries are very well run and never leave you waiting for too long. Pastry and fillings are consistently good , a great place to pop in and get your pie fix . Prices are fair too ..
Cheap and cheerful. Often pop in before work to pick up my breakfast and lunch for under $12 for the day. Their pie pastry is the besttttt but their sausage roll filling is kinda gross which is really disappointing. I love that they do a chicken and veg version of party pie!
Sandwiches/rolls are made to order and always super fresh.
They can definitely make pies - yum. But their desserts - not up to scratch just yet. I had the caramel slice today - bland in flavour - 1 flavour - cant taste the difference in shortbread, caramel, chocolate
Had a steak and cheese pie and sausage roll this morning. Sausage roll was delish, and boy was that pie heavy!! Weight-wise, probably the heaviest pie ive ever had. Forget mrs macs, go here!

Top pies. My boyfriend has always raved about the Pinjarra Bakery which certainly is nice but this one was even better, I rarely have pies but the beef & mushroom one here was really yummy & worth the calories!
Sometimes there's just nothing better than a pie. Or a sausage roll. Or bacon and egg quiche. Theses guys do it all and more. Absolutely hits the spot every time!
Baked fresh on the premises. As with their other stores, this place makes their own wonderful pastries, pies, spring rolls, etc in house. Unlike the city store they have the added bonus of seating inside and outside
Dangerously delicious. This place is slightly smaller but just as delightful as it's sister shop in the city. Cheap sandwiches and rolls made fresh to order, but I am a sucker for their huge selection of hot pastries and toasted sandwiches.
Their pies and sausage rolls are full of delicious flavoursome fillings and the pastry just the right thickness. It's also very hard to drive past everyday and not get a satisfying bacon and egg toastie on the way to work.
10/2/22: I've been going here for lunch for years. Easy to jump off of and onto the Freeway. Always good food. Pies, Pasties,Sausage Rolls as well as the fresh continental rolls and cakes are all good. I tried the Breakfast pie for the first time and it is a meal by itself, very tasty and very filling. It used to be absolutely flat out at lunch time but this time it was quiet, probably because of the times. This is a good reliable and reasonably priced place to get lunch in Osborne Park.

Most of the times the business owner is also serving customers and he’s truly a gentleman.
Ample parking spaces compared to location, for takeout out dine-in.

I delivered certain items to this bakery and got to see the whole operation. It was fascinating seeing them making the pies and sausage rolls on a large scale. Huge tasty pies, hot coffee, sandwiches and sweet cakes. Sausage rolls, party pies, curry puffs, pasties and more.
Pies are not oily, golden crispy flaky top pastry. I can see why they win so many awards. Only downside is mostly beef pies.
Staff are attentive and friendly.
Great choices for catering platters for work lunch or parties.

Omg this place has the best food heaps of variety pies that are gorgeous. I luv the potato top vege pie & small spinach quiches. Cakes. Staff will make you a roll with everything you want in it. Egg Cheese fresh salad meat. Drinks.

This Bakery does some pretty amazing pies and sausage rolls. I went to bacon heaven today trying their beef cheese and bacon pie... And their samosas are among the best I've had.
Yet to try their rolls and other goods but I highly recommend. The prices may seem a touch steep but their pies are huge so it's actually good value!
